I have been using this cleaners for 20 years and they are excellent all the work that they do

The young man who picked up the draperies was very neat and careful when he both removed and rehung them. Although this cleaner is expensive, I've always been more than satisfied with their work. They go the extra mile to take care of any problem I might have with my cleaning, which isn't often.

This expereince has been terrible. Initially we chose this dry cleaner because we were interested in door-to-door service. We had previously used Zoots when we lived in Connecticut, but Zoots is not here in Illinois (a great company, BTW), so I had noticed the Lake City Cleaners truck drive through the neighborhood, so I called them and set it up. I have been using them for 2 years, and I am just finished with them. Part of having a door-to-door service is the 3-4 day turnaround time, so I expect all of the items I put out to be brought back at the next delivery. At least 10 times, I have had items not come back, and it had gotten to the point where I would write down what I put in the bag, because I couldnt' count on them returning everything. The worst of it is, I NEVER get an apology, nor do I get credit for the item not being cleaned in a timely manner. I will call, and ask where my missing item is, and they'll say "oh, it's here" and I'll say "why wasn't it delivered today with the rest of the items?" and they'll say "I don't know.,..." The worst was when the actual owner, Victor, answered the phone, and when I asked where my stuff was, he said it wasn't ready yet, but it would be ready the next day - more than half of the items I put in the bag on a MOnday, they couldn't get back to me by Thursday. I asked him why they weren't ready (they were nothing special - some shirts, a dress), and he said they just weren't ready. Then the guy who brings it back almost growled at me because I clearly had made an extra trip for him. I will never use this company again.

Very poor customer response until calling the owner.

The drapery specialist arrived right after our phone call. Was efficient and pleasant to work with. Did his job in an orderly manner. The same was true when he returned and hung the clean drapes.

Person who picked up and hung drapes was very professional. The drapes were clean when delivered. Promised delivery date was not honored.

Reliable, polite, work done as promised, good job on older draperies. Gave detailed information. Needed to return a couple of times to correct some problems. Everything accomplished in a timely and satisfactory manner.

They did an excellent job on the cleaning but they did a terrible job on when they said they would bring the drapes back. He told me they would be back on Wed in the morning. Wed morning came with no show and no call. The numbers on his receipt are all disconnected. I found the number that I received from Angie's List and found out they were not done with them but it would have been nice for them to call me.

WHEN YOU BRING SOMETHING IN, THEY ASK YOU WHAT THE SPOT IS AND ASK YOU IF YOU'VE WASHED IT. IF THEY CAN'T GET IT OUT, THEY WILL TELL YOU. THE PLANT IS RIGHT THERE, SO THEY DON'T SEND THEM OUT. THEY DO AN EXCELLENT JOB!
