+ -1 moreI called and left a message with John Halek, wondering if he could recommend a stereo repair shop that could address a problem that I was having with an older receiver. Even though this was not a job for him, he called me back within minutes and gave me advice on a possible fix that I could do myself. His explanation was clear and uncomplicated. He also recommended two repair shops that were convenient for me, just in case (both authorized shops for my receiver brand). Even though I didn't have any project work done, I could not be more impressed with the service that I was given.
Description of Work: Called requesting advice/recommendation on stereo receiver problem and possible solutions.

+ -1 moreTask was scheduled for a week ago, he said it would take about 4 hours, speakers, plasma mount, and labor would be $1200.00. I had other bids around the same, but I was impressed by Mr. Halek's knowledge and apparent skill level. He completed the job in a little longer time but, was careful to protect my furniture and floors by covering them up.
Description of Work: Called John Richard Audio Video for an estimate for installation of Plasma, in-wall speakers with multizone speaker locations 4 zones 5 speakers. Was prompt for estimate appointment, I was impressed with his knowledge and pictures of other jobs performed.
