Description of Work: Jackie has worked as a real estate agent, for us, family and friends on the buying and selling end approximately 6 times over the past 9 years. The thing that impressed us the most about her initially - and that our family and friends repeat - is that she is honest, honest, honest. She is incredibly hard-working, flexible, prompt, professional, and knows the area, the market, other agents. We highly recommend her. Notes: I entered today's date as the date field was required. However, her services spanned 9 years and continue. I entered zero for the dollar amount, because it varied. She charges the standard % rate that other local agents charge.

 + -1 moreWe loved working with Jackie. She is realistic and hard working in this tough housing market. She knows the North Shore very well. When picking a price point to list our town home, she evaluated similar sales and we came up with a target goal for sale. She hired (at her expense) a stager to help our home appear crisp and ready for viewing, and she facilitated a # of walk throughs with our agents as well as open houses. She also marketed our town home in local papers and website listings. She was thorough, professional, and wonderfully friendly to work with. She charges the average percentage rate for sale/buy for a Realtor (I think 5% which is split with the other side's Realtor). As for the buy, she hooked us up with an electronic listing that was updated daily with new listings that fit our desired criteria. We would contact her when ready to visit a few at once, and she would join us on most of those trips. Our place sold in a month last year which was a tight market. We have friends trying to sell their place (which was just like ours) for months to no avail using different Realtors who have done very little marketing. We really appreciate Jackie's honest look at what it takes to sell/buy in Evanston.
Description of Work: Jackie Mack, with Prairie Shore Properties in Evanston, sold our 2-bedroom town home and helped us buy a 3 bedroom single family home, both in Evanston.
