+ 0 moreEdwin did a tremendous job. We live an 100+ year old house with a bedroom that had crumbling lathe-and-plaster walls and ceiling. Edwin came up with a solution for a room with sturdy walls and ceiling that used existing architectural elements and accounted for the many puzzles that an old house can present. Edwin was prompt and kept to our timeframe. He was clear in his pricing and there were no surprises. He was friendly and courteous and answered all our questions. He worked steadily, quickly, and with a minimum of dust. He was meticulous about daily cleanup. The result is a transformed room that is bright, clean, and usable. I recommend Edwin highly and without reservation. He is a fine craftsman and a good man.

Edwin had to match the Color of paint that was already on the walls Paint all the marks on the wall but yet not have to paint the whole room. Every painting job I had Edwin do it was always done to perfection and he always cleaned up after his painting job.

+ 1 moreThe work was done meticulously on both occasions and looks amazing. This is an old house and the structure beneath the walls/ceilings can be challenging for a simple painting crew. Edwin is an expert at reconstructing the smooth look from a erratic base structure. We have Edwin scheduled for work on our porch later this summer.
Description of Work: Water leak in 2 places due to storm melt and a later plumbing problem. (2 separate jobs) Ceiling lath and plaster as well as dry wall was replaced, smoothed perfectly, and the paint matched to the rest of the room area.

He goes above and beyond with cleanliness leaving your home in better condition than he found it (taping and covering areas thoroughly). He has come back to help me with a variety of projects including painting my condo from floor to ceiling. Additionally, he oversaw plumbing and electrical projects to ensure these were done correctly and to his standards.

+ -1 moreIt took them a long time to get back to us and there was a lot of difficulty getting this scheduled. By then we had gotten other quotes, but wanted to use the deal we had purchased. They arrived on time when they were scheduled, and were up front about what the deal would and wouldn't have time for. The amount they wanted in addition to the deal was in excess of our other three quotes for the whole job so we weren't inclined to pay them the additional money. We had them do four hours worth of work and had another plasterer finish off the work.
Description of Work: Spot repair and replacement and taping of missing drywall in the basement following plumbing repairs and cleaning. This was one of those advertised Angie's List deals that we bought and then scheduled through the vendor.

+ -1 moreThey arrived on time, they started working right away but one seems to do all the work while the other doesn't do too much. The deal was for 8 hours of service with 1 painter or 4 hours with 2 painters. I had to leave to go to work so my mother stayed while they did the work. When I got home the kitchen was painted but it was streaky and not done very well. Only one coat was put on so I have to go back over it myself to make it look nice. I am very disappointed for the money that I paid. I also needed some drywall repaired but because of the time restraints that did not get done. I just believe that the kitchen could've been painted in 2-3 hours and the drywall repaired in an hour upstairs. I was not there to manage the clock so I cannot say what was going on in that time.

+ 0 moreFine. Edwin was quite careful, covering everything up. Took down the lumpy patch job and sprayed on the popcorn product to blend in. Can't tell a patch job was ever done. I was quite happy with it. He did the popcorn application a couple of times as not satisfied with the look. Happy with the job done.

Our neighbor upstairs overflowed his dishwasher and caused a huge mess but Edwin came and now it looks like we never had a problem! Edwin is a pleasure to work with. He was very considerate over the several day project and took care to clean up and put things back the way he had found them. He came on time, was prepared and was very professional. He also reinstalled our light fixtures and took a lot of time to put our speakers back together properly. He does things right even though doing it right may impact his schedule. You won't be disappointed. Call him! :)

+ 2 moreNot the cheapest estimate but not the most expensive. He will adjust the price a bit of you negotiate, make sure you do this it saved us a little. They offered higher quality paint this is why we went with them. It would of cost us more if we would of paid for quality paint with the cheapest estimate we received. He will match a reasonable estimate from competitors which I loved.
Description of Work: The I'Art Team was on time and very detailed oriented. I am so happy with the work they did. Edwin's estimate was very detailed and allowed us to have an idea of the cost for each project in our condo. His team plastered our our entir condo to fix imprefections in our walls, they also replaced drywall in our bathroom and a hung drywall in the living room ceiling. They painted our entire condo which included two bedroom room, a bathroom, living room, dining room and kitchen. We picked our favorit colors for each area and the price did not change.The work was done beautifully and the plastered areas are perfectly smooth. The amount or detail and how meticulous his team is suprised me. We have had bad experiences in the past with dirty work, bad painting and in perfect plaster but I'art has trully thought our family what quality work should look like.
