Used this company when it was called Northshore Gutter Cleaning. They lost 3 gutter strainers, knocked 2 shingles off the roof and left wet leaves all over the walk. When I got a notice for my next annual cleaning I called to tell Steve I did not want the gutters cleaned. He asked why and I explained the problems with the previous cleaning. He called me a liar and hung up. Really the worst service provider!

It did not go very well at all. After his crew was done, a few months later when we went to clean the gutters, we found that his crew had dumped all of their old oil based paint into our gutters instead of disposing of it properly. It was such a mess. Then, after 2 years, the paint job that was guaranteed to last 10 years began to peel. I called several times without any success. Steve Depaepe would not return my calls. Finally, my husband got up on a ladder and repainted the windows. My husband said that it was apparent that the windows that had peeled had only been primed and were never given a final coat of paint. A 10 year guarantee has no meaning if it is not honored. Do not use this guy whatever you do.
Description of Work: I contracted to have all of the exterior wood trim painted on my home. I was intrigued by the company's 10 year warranty and their promise that they would remove all the old paint, prime and finish with an oil based paint. They also painted my wooden storms and screens.

It was the worst experience I have had so far... Steve DaPaepe was physically present (checking on the work of his painters) only during the first 2 weeks of the job. Even though he lives on the same street, he didn't show up to check on his workers for the last 3 weeks of the project. The workers did not speak any English and tried to do as little as possible. They painted wooden surfaces without priming them first (even though the contract stated that "all wooden surfaced will be stripped to bare wood, primed and painted with Hollandlac paint".Also, Hollandlac paint was used only on the windows and doors and not on the wooden siding. The paint started to crack , peel and bubble within days after application. After repeated requests that went unanswered I texted Steve that I wasn't happy with the paining job. As a reply I received 57 verbally abusive text messages from Steve. He also informed me that he was quitting. At first he refused to deliver the 16 Marvin windows that had been fully paid for by me. In the end, the windows were delivered and stored in my garage. Steve's subcontractor refused to install the windows because of the wrong size. After numerous meetings with window installation companies, I decided to go ahead and have the windows put in anyway despite the wrong measurements. The process required a lot more carpentry work and ended up being 3 times as costly as the number given to me by Steve. It needs to be stated that after Steve had quit, he was not involved in the installation process, but had already collected the money for the job. He was also supposed to paint the windows on the inside and collected payment for that as well. No refund or apologies have been offered.
Description of Work: Stripping and painting of the entire house. According to contract- 16 Marvin windows were supposed to be ordered and installed, but after collecting payment in full the contractor walked away without installing the windows. It turned out soon after that the windows ordered by Steve DaPaepe were the wrong size. On average the windows were 3 inches too narrow and 1-4 inches too tall.
