Lucky & his team did a great job, not only removing the rotted wood, but also had to deal with & remove a huge wasp nest that was behind the wood. His team was able to kill the wasps & remove & destroy the nest. They then repaired the wood & rebuilt the gate. He communicated regularly with me. I will hire Lucky & his team for other projects.

Great company! Picked up on first call, and got an actual person! He spent a good amount of time explaining to me what my options were and we chose what would be the best for the situation. The estimates were reasonable and the work was done the next day, very efficiently. There wasn't any back and forth. Sent me pictures as the project progressed and I was very pleased with the final result. Expect a straight forward, no bull or fluff, when speaking to him. I don't write many reviews, but when I find someone exceptional, it's worth sharing. Owning an apartment complex can be troublesome at times, and having the right people to help when there is a need is crucial to succeeding and standing out amongst the competition. Thanks again for all the hard work!

Lucky installed a pocket door for me in a lofted space to my master bedroom where there was previously just a hole in the wall. Quick to respond to the posting, we set up a review of the project shortly thereafter. A sub of his (Christian) performed the work once hired and the quality of workmanship is very very good. Each project is not without its share of issues so be ready to be asked many questions related to how you want something handled (where do you want a line to match up, reference point of leveling, repairing previous construction work to make your installation on par, etc.) As I work in the construction industry my advice to others when working with anyone: 1-Set up or have a defined scope, and budget for any unknowns (what might be in the wall, are walls and floors square/level; Lucky is happy to help you with this!) 2-Have a material list, figure out lead times, and then agree to a start date (you canâ t perform work next week if material lead time is 2 months) Again, Lucky and his team are knowledgeable on this so use them to your advantage. 3-Patience is rewarded as quality does not happen overnight. I was able to put a lot of trust into Christian as he talked me through a lot of what and why he was having to do something. Highly consider bringing Lucky and his team back to do another project for me now having dealt with them.

Someone backed into our building. Lucky responded quickly to the emergency board up. Took a little while to get the permitting necessary to get the repair done but when the job was started, it was completed promptly. They were responsive to our needs and adapted when they found unexpected twists. We plan to use him again for a rear desk replacement.

They reviewed what needed to be done and proceeded with expertise. Quality matters and so does knowledge. They did an outstanding job.

I hired Lucky to build a diving wall with a pocket door in my loft apartment. Lucky initiated the conversation in no time and followed the project on a daily basis but the main person who worked on my project was Adam. Both Lucky and Adam were friendly and prioritize the value of their work. There was a complication with my wall being crooked that we didn't anticipate so it took a little more time and cost than anticipated. However, I appreciated Adam trying to problem-solve and still finished the project with good quality. I would work with them in future projects. Pros: responsive, friendly, quality work and ethics What to consider: be 110% transparent with expectations on the final result and cost upfront, get everything in writing to avoid miscommunication

NOW WORK WAS DONE. I DID NOT HIRE ANYONE FOR THE PROJECT. HOME ADVISOR WILL MOT CLOSE THE PROJECT AND I JEEP GETTING CALLS, EMAILS, AND TEXTS AND IT IS BS!

I called and The owner sent someone out the same day, Literally one hour after I spoke to him. I would highly recommend this company. The guys were very polite and respectful of our home. Cleaned up after themselves and the install came out beautiful . 5stars.

They did the work on time. We can trust them

First, I want to say that the only reason they did not get 1 star is because of the Carpenter Cristian. He did an amazing job with repairing my doors. The problem comes in with the Mr. Gorman, I believe that he was very dishonest with me. First off he quoted my job at being $550. Then before he even he sent me a carpenter he required a $150 deposit. The first carpenter that came to see the job and then did not come back because he quit. Then when he sent the second carpenter the charged me for 1 1/2 hour waiting time @ $90 an hour because he said no one was home and someone was home to let him in and the carpenter never knocked or rung the doorbell. Then and only after the 1st door was repaired did he tell me that the he was charging me by the hour and not the job type. He charged me $90 an hour. When I search online the average cost of labor for a carpenter is it $60-$85 an hour, so he is definitely on the high end. In the end I paid $945 for the job. Compared to his quote that was way too much, I know. I am thinking of taking legal action. I believe he tried to get over on me because he saw me as a damsel in distress. I will NEVER use him or RECOMMEND him to anyone.

The work was completed quickly with no mess. Any questions I had were addressed thoroughly and options presented clearly. Lucky and his workers are pleasant, efficient and easy to work with. I will call them again if a need arises.

Showed up on time for the estimate. Explained work that would be done and amount. Very professional, completed the job with no issues. Very trustworthy and Mr Gorman is a pleasure to work with. Would recommend the company without hesitation.

Wow...can't say enough about Mr. GORMAN n his Carpenters Christian n Matias!!!!Words like professional,caring,compassionate, wood worshipers n knowledgeable in their art.I would recommend to each n every household that needs wood remodeling.We currently are in the process with them on a front porch to restore it to a former beauty but they are going above n beyond that with their design, stain color n stair n railing restortation. I am proud we chose them to help on a huge part of our home. I KNOW my dad,who was a former carpenter would be proud of my decision on choosing GORMAN TOO!!! Thank u for this opportunity.

From initial consult to finished product Gorman Restoration and Remodeling was professional and trustworthy in every aspect of their work. Lucky Gorman came right out for an estimate and explained what he would do in detail and answered all my questions. I received an estimate the same day of our first meeting. My front and rear porch project was not an easy job because the original porch had to be removed, the site had to be graded, and existing concrete had to be removed and replaced with new concrete that aligned with the new porch. Importantly, the new porch had to match the character of the existing building while conforming to applicable building codes. As the job progressed, I knew that I could trust Lucky Gorman and his on-site foreman Christian. Christian demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism under very challenging rainy weather conditions. Christian is a true craftsman as demonstrated by his beautiful work, done as promised. Yes, I would use them again in the future.
