Lucky Gorman same up with a creative solution to a problem that more than exceeded my expectations. I was very happy with both the creative solution and the service itself. I would highly recommend Lucky Gorman.

I selected Lucky Gorman's services despite his quote being hundreds of dollars more expensive than the other recommended professionals because Lucky provided me with a contract. However, one day prior to the scheduled work, Lucky called to warn me that because of the age of my home the workers might run into problems and that the agreed contract price might be exceeded. This despite the fact that he had personally come to my home and written out the contract after viewing the age and interior of my home. The work was done well, but sure enough, there were cost overruns. I guess when I contracted with Lucky to "install ceiling fans" this didn't actually mean the fans themselves would be installed. Just the electrical wiring. When he attempted to charge me more for the actual installation, I balked and he agreed to perform the full installation. Finally, Lucky was not straightforward with me regarding how long this work would take. I assumed when we set one date for his workers to arrive, the work would be done in one day. Wrong. Two ceiling fan installations took three days. Lucky told me "customers always assume the work will be done quickly." Well, perhaps customers should be informed of these things up front. Overall I would never hire Lucky Gorman again, despite the good work performed by his laborers (Lucky himself does not do any of the actual work). He's just not straight forward with his customers.

I have chosen a contractor from your list House Wizards and scheduled an appointment for fall. They suggested the best time to prune my Tree. Eddy Petit was the contractor referred by Hose Wizards and he did as very good job.

Decent on price, good detailed orientation, flexible. Did not set-up a professional contract upfront with a quote. Approached work as time and materials with little expectation-setting about how long things would take. Good focus on quality.
