Was flexible and quick.

Gorman's removed and replaced my rear door and storm door, together with the framing down to the brickwork. Lucy Gorman was responsive to my requests, and Matt Bourque, the carpenter, did excellent work, followed up promptly, and was responsive to my questions. Thanks you for a job well-done.

After recently moving, we decided to renovate our three-bedroom owner unit of our two flat. Lucky and his team at Gorman Carpentry & Renovation were able to handle everything. Refinishing floors, painting and replacing old ceiling lighting with new LED lighting was not a problem for this team. I met Lucky and his team 2 years ago while replacing a simple closet door. Last year they replaced the hardwood floor on my second floor. Today I have a fully rented two flat thanks to the work of this team. They truly can do anything, and the craftsmanship is outstanding.

Lucky reached out immediately to do my project. He and Christian came to my home the day after we spoke to view the project. I frankly wasnâ t sure what I wanted could be done. I was given a quote that night, I accepted the next day, and Christian returned with Carlos the next day to do the project. Carlos worked nonstop, and the finished result is amazing!!!

They did what they said they would do. They charged what they said they estimated. They showed up when they said they would show up. They finished the project per our agreed schedule and they were very professional and pleasant to deal with.

Gorman and company did good, fast work. They replaced my back porch and built a new one that is much better. It is also enclosed with screens (top and bottom).

Lucky was thorough and responsive, worked with us to understand the big picture and we are very happy with the end result. He was flexible with us as the scope of our work changed, and his subcontractors were great. He did stair railings and bannisters, sink vanity replacement, and various handyman repairs.

We have a 33 year old architect-designed, raised deck in need of new floor boards and steps. The first guy we contacted wanted to replace the deck altogether, which would destroy the charm of the original design. Gorman understood exactly what we wanted , He replaced those elements of the deck that needed repair, including most of the supporting joists, using better materials than were used in the original structure. We could not be happier with the result. They were very easy to work with. All the work was done according the agreed upon schedule and were were updated on progress throughout. We will definitely reach out to them first the next time we have a home improvement project.

We have worked with Gorman Carpentry on several repairs around our home. We have used Gorman for projects such as fencing/gate repairs in the past. Most recently they helped to repair the deck/patio at our home. The weather, over time, caused wood to rotten and several of the nails began to rust. During the assessment of the problem, they went into detail as to why the wood may have been affected, gave recommendations to the best approach and provided an estimate of the work upfront to ensure we were aligned on expectations from a budgeting standpoint. Overall the work completed was very well done. We carpenters are highly skilled and do a good job answering any questions we had along the way. We plan to use Gorman in the future, should the need arise.

If things donâ t go exactly right, he makes them right! We have had this company do several projects for us and in the end we are always satisfied!

I met Lucky early this summer when I had several projects that I needed to complete before the end of the summer. First, some outside foundational stonework, followed by some interior storage work culminating in replacing my hardwood floor on the 2nd floor of an 1890's house. Lucky worked with me, and I gained comfort with his team during each project. The floor project was big, very big. We could not be happier after seeing the result. My floor had a 4-inch sag at one side and their work looked more like magic. My daughters are thrilled now that they can sneak downstairs in the early morning hours to watch YouTube on our TV because the floor no longer squeaks and wakes me up! At the end of the day, I am rehabbing a very old house that has issues. Issues you do not see unless you dig into the problem. Lucky was great at providing options when we had issues to fix. Lucky is who you want to partner with when doing home renovations.

Lucky came out the day after I called him. We had a leak on our sliding door- . The total was higher than originally expected- but thatâ s bc it wasnâ t a door issue it was a roof deck issue. His associate was fantastic and was here for 2 days fixing it. No more leak!

I hired them to fix a really crooked exterior door that could barely close and lock. First off Lucky was very honest with the estimate as he didnâ t try to charge me for more work because I initially wanted to replace the whole door and he recommended a repair was all thatâ s needed. I didnâ t like the job done initially and they came back and fixed it and then some. Completely happy with the final work they did and the customer service.

Good customer service and built a beautiful deck. Able to start work quickly and able to hire them for additional work of replacing 2 outside doors and roof repair.
