Will definitely use again. 08/23/19 Water Heater - Install or Replace: Lucky Gorman, owner of Gorman Restoration, has become our go to person for home maintenance and repair. We found Lucky through Home Advisors earlier this year and so appreciated the quality of his work. But what has kept us coming back is his respect for our time, his willingness to advise and counsel us on new projects and home improvement investments and how he prioritizes our work as if it were his own. This past week our tenants let us know that the water heater was not functioning properly. I did not call Lucky because I thought this was outside of his scope of work... I was wrong and paid for it. The plumber who finally showed, after making me wait for 4 hours, spent 10 minutes looking at it and wanted $500 and another week to repair it. He did not care that our tenants would be taking cold showers for a week. I called Lucky to see if he might know someone and was so excited to hear he had plumbers in his network. He helped me think through different approaches (repair vs. fix) and expedited our service call. He had his guys in the unit the day after we called him and in a few hours had the system working again. And the cost of this emergency, expedited fix? Extremely reasonable! Lucky is a smart business man. He understands that caring for his customers is what will keep them coming back, and he will go above and beyond to take care of you. In todays day and age, Lucky is rare find!

The deck wood railings and steps needed repair from a severe winter storm. Gorman Restoration did the work the next day with a discount. An indoor plumbing problem that occurred the next day was also repaired. The carpentry work was done well all in one day. I am very particular and satisfied!

The quality of the repair work performed was fantastic. Milan and Dalibor truly took pride in their work and did their best. The Building was built roughly around 1890 and the front stairs were really showing their wear. Nails/Spikes having worked their way half way out, every fourth board cracked, all of this was repaired and reinforced very nicely. I am sure my stairs will last in the least another 30 years or so. Yes, if your are looking for a quality repair and cannot afford a tear out and rebuild, Milan and Dalibor, will do their best in working with what you have. Yes I recommend them highly.

Lucky was great to work with. Originally reached out to him about replacing some sliding doors related to a leak, and he was able to recommend a solution that saved us several thousand dollars. Was thrilled with that, so hired him to replace some drywall and his team did a great job. Highly recommend.

The floor still has some gouges which I expected to be repaired. Also, when the floor man came the window was open. It remained open when he left and then it rained. I could not enter the room to shut the window as the varnish was wet. So now the area near the window has a texture from the rain, which the rest of the floor doesn’t have as the rain didn’t go that far in. Maybe, as he packed up his car with rain on his shirt, he might have thought about the window. The room had plastic sheeting on the doorway to keep my cats out, so the rain coming in wasn’t noticeable right away, but then with wet varnish, nothing I could do.
