G3 Design

Working with G3 - Barbie and her highly skilled team of workers - on several items needed to ready our home for sale has been a wonderful experience. We started with my list of things that needed to be done, reviewed all the items, added some that they suggested, and removed some we determined weren't as important as I thought they might be (or else, altered the fix that I thought might be needed to something more effective or appropriate). The work crew was reliable and had tremendous attention to detail and pride in workmanship. They showed up on time, and stayed until the job was done. At one point, a run to a store like Home Depot or Menard's or Lowe's was needed for some items that were added along the way, and I was prepared to make the run to get the required items - but Barbie and one of the crew members went and got those items as well as a few others that I needed. It was a huge value added for me, because it meant I could continue on my own tasks at the house. Barbie brought lunch for the crew, and even included me (more stress relief - plus - it was nice to have lunch with them!). The pricing seemed fair, comparatively. And then, when you factor in the care and consideration, the quality and integrity - the pricing went from being fair to being a great value. Overall, I am just delighted with the whole experience and will look to G3 Design without hesitation for any projects we have at the new house.

On the first day, Barbie Markay came and spoke to me before she introduced me to her 3-man crew. She asked how they should address me and if it was ok for them to use my bathroom - I really appreciated this. Then she introduced me, and wrote their names down so I would know them, which was great because I tend to forget people's names. The job took 5 days, and each day before they left, they got the house back in as much to order as was possible - you wouldn't know a big painting job was in the works! They were very concientious throughout the whole job. Barbie came by each day to check on how things were going. A couple of days, she brought lunch for her crew, and even brought some for me! At one point, Barbie needed to go to Home Depot, and she asked if I needed anything. As it happened, I needed a filter for my refrigerator, and a battery for my smoke detector. She bought them for me, and they installed them when they got back. Another time a member of her crew noticed that one of the gates in my fence was dragging and not closing correctly - he took it upon himself to fix it without charging me anything. When the job was done, Barbie came back and looked over the whole job very critically. She found a few very minor imperfections that even I didn't see, but she had the crew fix them up. When she left, she said I should keep looking around and put anything I see on a list - they plan to come back if I find anything. So far, I have nothing on my list. I should also mention that the cost for this job was much less than the other estimates that I had.
