They came to inspect an oven where the pilot would not light.  The price they quoted for repair was just below the cost of a new oven.  They said they could replace the part and it would be as good as new.  Now, their "repair" has failed several months later and they won't do anything about it - I would expect at the very least they would provide a complimentary service call.

The previous homeowner had this company's sticker on the washing machine. I assumed they had serviced the machine before and called without checking the list first. I wish I had checked! I had the same experience as the other member who reported on this company! The receptionist is so rude and condescending, it is unbelievable! She is incapable of responding to even the most common, basic questions. She responds to every inquiry with, "Ma'am, I can set up a time for you. Would you like 9 to 11?" No matter what your question. Nonetheless, I set up an appointment. The technician was much nicer than the receptionist, fortunately. He identified the problem, but told me he did not have the part in stock and would need to order the part. He told me he would have the part on Monday and would return then to install it. He told me it would cost $288. I told him to go ahead and order it and to return on Monday, and I paid him in full for the part and the labor on the understanding that he would return on Monday as promised to install the part. Surprise, surprise - he never returned. I called on Tuesday to find out what had happened, but encountered that same obnoxious receptionist. I tried to explain the issue to her, but was met with the same response, "Ma'am, I can set up a time for a technician to come out tomorrow. 9-11?" I tried to explain to her that a technician had already been out and I had already paid in full for the part and labor and I wanted to know what happened. The rude receptionist (her name was Ann) did not answer my question, but kept repeating, "Do you want a technician to come out or not?" After I tried again to explain the situation, she hung up on me!!! Unbelievable!!! She must have felt guilty about it because she called me back a few minutes later and said, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. You need to talk to Marie." When I said, "Marie who?" She hung up on me again!! So after I've pre-paid for parts and labor, my washing machine has not been repaired and I've now been hung-up on twice by a rude, obnoxious receptionist!!!! Talk about adding insult to injury! This is ridiculous!
