I asked Marcin to give me an estimate when he was finishing a job for my neighbor. She warned me that he tends to postpone his jobs. He gave me the estimate and said that he would come on Saturday. He called and postponed the job until Wednesday at 1pm. Called and postponed it until 2pm. Called and said he would come before 4 and 5pm. Finally came and did the job efficiently and added freon for a reduced price. Promised to send me a paid invoice the next day because he forgot his invoice pad. As of June 6, five days later, no invoice, even though I emailed him for it. He has no sense of how long a job takes and now I have to remind him about the invoice. He's a really nice guy and does the job well, and if you have time for postponed appointments, you'll save money and get a good job done.

Martin and his crew were very responsive and friendly. The project lasted longer than expected because the requirements kept changing (due to the project scope as the work was done and our requests). We trusted them in our home completely and they were mindful of our belongings.

Five Star did a great job on a problematic install. This tri-level house was built in the 1950s but it never had ductwork running to an upper level bedroom, though it did have a satellite dish on the roof. It took hours just to get the thermostat working because the low voltage wiring from the old thermostat was crammed in the ceiling with an assortment of nonfunctional wires. To keep costs down, I asked the installer to use the existing freon line to the compressor. But it leaked and had to be replaced. The charge for the extra work was reasonable. Martin, the owner/installer, is patient, polite, prompt and professional. He is highly recommended.
