Contacted Chicagoland and left a message on their answering machine to contact us about repairing my mother's garage roof. Received a return phone call the same day. Set up meeting time to get a quote. The owner, Wally, arrived on time. Gave us a quote and explained specific details of material to be used, etc. Price was fair and owner was very professional. We told him the job was his. He said he would send the contract via the internet to our email address when he got back to the office. We received it about two hours later. Contacted his office and confirmed that we would like Chicagoland to do the job. We were put on a work list and told they would do the job once the temperature reached mid 30's, which it did on 02/04/2010. We were contact on 02/03/2010 and told a work crew would be at my mother's home at 8:00 am the next day. The owner and 5 workers showed up on Thursday a 8:00am and had the job completed by 1:00pm. They left the job site immaculate and even ran a magnet bar over the work area to pick up any nails that may have fallen in the grass. They also requested a key to the garage to make sure that no roofing material had fallen in the interior. It was a pleasure to work with these gentlemen and anyone who decides to hire them will not regret it. I need some work done on my home and I will be hiring them.

We love our new fresh colors. Chicagoland did great job. We will hire them in the future.

Chicagoland Remodeling did a complete roof tear off job for me. This was the best experience I have ever had with a contractor. I dealt mainly with Wally. He was very punctual, courteous, and professional. He supplied me with a list of references and they checked out quite well. The workers showed up when Wally said they would, they completed my job in one day, and they left my property spotless, just like they said they would. After they did my roof I asked Wally to give me a quote for the rest of my project. The price was great. My husband and I decided to hire Chicagoland Remodeling one more time. Our kitchen remodeling and bathroom remodeling project has just been completed. We want to express our satisfaction with the outcome of our project, and will be happy to offer our recommendation and experience to potential future Chicagoland Remodeling clients.

Wonderful $ - I am in wheelchair and went the extra mile for the easement windows to get handles I could use to open windows to get handles I could use to open windows (couldn't do with old one) very courteous.

This company is very professional. They prices are not the cheapest but the service they provide were above my expectations. When the job was complete they did a wonderful job of cleaning up after themselves. I would recommend them to anyone.

I cannot express how much I love my new bathroom & kitchen. It is unbelievable. I could not have imagined anything more perfect. Wally, truly have an eye for detail and really had a vision of what we were looking for before we even did! Chicagoland workers pulled it all together beautifully, right down to the last details. I greatly appreciated the copies of your weekly schedule and the updates at the end of the day. My wife in particular, was pleased to know step by step how the job was progressing. Chicagoland Remodeling stuff?s professionalism and promptness in the completion of the job on schedule was fantastic. I also greatly appreciated the respect that your staff had for my home and the consideration they took as I have young children in the house. Wally was very polite and considerate and cognizant of the fact that there were times the children and I had to be present at home. Siding, windows, roof and brick gutters and downspsouts looks great. Again, we are thrilled with our new bathroom and eager for our kitchen to be completed. I am extremely pleased with the quality of work and professionalism demonstrated by Chicagoland Remodeling workmen. They were very careful not to harm our landscaping and they cleaned up perfectly afterward. Wally was especially efficient overseeing the work from the very start to the finish and it was a pleasure to have dealt with him. In 2008, we decided to install new roof and windows in our home at Meacham Ct in Niles, and went on that dreaded search for someone we could trust, someone who would stay in business and someone who would do a quality job and stand behind their work. After talking to several contractors, we contacted Wally Szymanski from Chicagoland Remodeling Inc. He, personally, visited our home, talked with us, gave us a bid, his bid was not the lowest but we felt 'good' about developing a relationship with him. Work started because we were so pleased with the quality of the work, we decided to add several additional projects to the original contract. On top of it , in 2009 when we decided to put new windows, siding, gutters and roof on our summer home we contacted once again Wally Szymanski from Chicagoland Remodeling Inc. We love our summer home?s new look. Not sure what else we might want to do to our home, but we know one thing we will use Chicagoland Remodeling Inc again. Wally, Thank you for the quality of work and craftsman ship and personal attention you gave to our home. Estimate was set up for 11:00 AM. They never showed or bothered to call. Terrible way to do business. Very unprofessional. Guess they don't need the work? Economy must not be as bad as they say...

From the start the estimate by Wally was quick and to the point. He listened and we agreed on the price and work to be done. The windows were ordered, there was a slight mix-up when the workers came to install the new windows about two weeks later. We were not exactly expecting them at that time and day.It all worked out fine. The father and son team were friendly, efficient and removed and replaced the windows in a matter of hours. The work was done to our complete satisfaction. They cleaned up and removed all the old debris. I am happy with the work done.

They were prompt and quick. I had not spent a lot of time. I just gave some number without doing a whole lot of figuring. It so happened that the number I gave was in line with their estimates. I have not yet selected who is going to do the job.

They came at appintmed day and time. They finish work on time as promesed. I am very satisfied. Highly recommended to anybody.

Chicagoland Remodeling came out to provide me a quote for work on my roof, siding, gutters and water spillways, new windows, and some bathroom remodeling. I had figured that I would need several different companies to do all the work, and was prepared for it. However, after coming out, Chicagoland quoted me a price for each repair separately, plus one quote for all the repair work combined. After getting quotes from several other companies, I decided to go with the combined quote from Chicagoland for all the work, as it was quite competitive. While the company is owned by one person, Wally, and is non-descript, they arrived early on a Monday morning, the day they were scheduled. There were three workers on my roof, two employees working on installing new windows,and one employee working on the bathroom, while there was one extra employee floating around helping out the others. Overall, they were very efficient and fast workers, and DID NOT spend time over-analyzing or talking about personal matters. Also they did not take time out to take calls from anyone, including other potential clients; which I have seen before and find extremely annoying. The company ordered a large dumpster for the trash, and made sure everything, from the old shingles off the roof to the old linoleum tiles from the bathroom went inside of it; i.e, they did not leave any garbarge whatsoever. I was quite pleased by the overall experience, which was finished on a Saturday morning when Wally came by to walk thru and inspect the finished product to make sure I was satisfied with the work. (Wally also was there everyday one or twice to check up on his employees.) I am very happy with the work, and would definately use the company again.

from first contact to job completion, fantastic. Price was exactly as quoted with the exception of an additional charge for replacement lumber needed on roof. However, we were told in quote that that might be the case. Job was done quickly and on exact start date promised. Careful and clean. Would definitele reccomend this company.

Chicagoland Remodeling: Wally, Izabela and crew were amazing. I use this company to replace roof on building install gutters and siding. They were ontime and the estimator was EXTREMELY thorough and resourceful (he spent 45 minutes with me while everyone else spent about 10). They were prompt in providing an estimate which was reasonable and was not for more service than I needed. They also gave me recommendations on how to keep my roof in good shape and when I need to do some maintenance again. Definitely going to use them for all of my future needs ( windows, painting etc).

First of all when Wally and Mirek came over to see the basement they immediately had ideas to help maximize our space. I could tell from the beginning that communication was very important to them. I received a call just about every afternoon detailing the progress and where we stood in the project. This was quite a project as far as my experience goes including electrical, rerouting the HVAC ducts to raise the ceiling, plumbing, lighting, moving walls, moving the furnace and hot water tank to create one utility closet, drywall, insulation, paint, woodwork, doors and staircase. All in all we have a great new playroom / workout room / laundry room that makes our house seem 33% larger.

I never even saw the crew. They got to the house after I left for work and were done with both roofs before I got home. They left everything as they found it I would not even known they were there if not for the great new roofs. Furthermore, after I requested the quote the project manager called me to inform me of am impending price increase on shingles so I decided on a color and got them at the current price.

The whole process is excellent. Each job was done within a week or two of the estimate being agreed upon, and there has never been any hidden charges or upselling. The jobsite is cleaned up afterwards, and neighbor's homes protected with tarps if need be. I started using them five years ago, and have never had a complaint from any of the people who bought the homes.

The quolity of work, service and proffessionalism that your crew exhibited while working on my roof and gutter installation as well as the chimney rebuilding & tuckpointing was outstending. Also your assistance through the whole process from setting up the appointment to the final wrap-up was smooth, effortless and above all professional. This is the secound roof your company has installed for me and I have to say you keep getting better. I will definitrley call on you again if I have any further home improvement projects to do and I will highly recommended your services to my friends and family as well.

Our bungalow was looking run-down because it needed a new roof & had old dirty siding & soffit that was not properly installed. We decided to replace windows as well and add skylights to make the attic more usable. Chicagoland Remodeling was the only contractor that came when he said he would. He gave us professional, multi-step bids so we could choose the services we needed. He also actually had color options available for siding, gutters & better roofing choices. Initial work started with interior framing and window replacement, that was very accurate & nicely done. Then they came and replaced our roof in two days. I was dreading the mess of four layers of stripped roofing, but they tarped everything, even the house next door to keep debris and damage to a minimum. They raked everything afterwards and the job site was clean every day when they left, everything in the dumpster. After the roofing crew, another crew came to do soffit, siding & gutters, they did clean, detail-oriented and solid work w/gutter clips every 3ft. The day after roof was finished we got heavy rains, there are no leaks anywhere, everything works. The work was all very professionally done and looks terrific. Changing the look of our house tremendously for the better. The only thing we had to wait for was weather, but once that was ok everything came together very quickly. Dumpster and materials arriving the day they were needed & removed as soon as they were no longer necessary. A big project like this can be overwhelming especially when people are in and out of your home, but the crews were pleasant and unobtrusive.

They charged reasonable rates. They were difficult to understand, but did the most fantastic work. He really got the work done. I would use him again.

Chicagoland did a fantastic job, especially with their timing. I've had work done on my other building in Chicago and I wish I used Chicagoland Remodeling. They had the material dropped off in front of the building and was done with the siding in a half day. The roof and gutters were done in one whole day, without disturbing my tenants. I have a duplex in the building and they set the bay window in the dining room. the bay window is my favorite. They started super early in the morning and were done in the early evening. While they were installing the bay window, they managed to not bother my grandmother (who lives with my family) once, which is amazing in itself. She's 84 years old and complains if the wind is blowing the wrong way.

I just wanted say how delighted we are with the work that you did on our house. My kitchen, powder room and hardwood floor looks beautiful. Over the last week we've gotten numerous comments from our friends and neighbors. Quality - On time remodeling, at a fair cost is hard to find. Your workers were prompt, courteous and skilled. You start and finished when you said that you would, and charge us per your proposal with no surprises. Thank you.
