Their estimate was the lower of the companies I compared, but I wanted to use them based on them being on Angie's List. They obtained a permit and began to do their work. These guys are great. They finished the job in just two days and I am very happy with their work. They are nice people and I enjoyed working with them. This company was always on time. My only complaint was the dumpster they had to put in for their work. They had to place the dumpster in my driveway and it was a little inconvenient to walk around it. I will definitely use them in the future! I really loved how they sent me emails and phone calls to update me on their progress.

They were fantastic throughout the process. Wally came and gave me an estimate and described exactly what they would do. Estimate was close to the lowest I received, but I felt they would do the best job for the money. And I wasn't disappointed. They were neat, did quality work, and went above and beyond by replacing roof vents and the attic fan, and cleaned up after the job taking extra care to protect the shrubs around the house from the debris that came off the roof as they worked. I would definitely recommend them and would not hestitate to use the again.

I called up the company and set up an appointment for an estimate. Wally showed up right on time, did a thorough inspection, discussed the options with me and gave me a verbal estimate right there and then. He followed up with a written estimate with details via email the next day. The price was in line (actually a little lower) than others I had received. I went with another company but would easily consider going to Wally to get other work done in the future.

Workmanship is flawless, courteous, punctual, with complete clean-up. Very professional workers that do not fool around or bother you for anything. Very satisfied. Front office is very courteous and efficient. Wally is wonderful to work with!

It was wonderful and they did the best work that Elmwood Park Building Inspectors had seen. They cleaned up very well and they were cheaper than the other quotes we had received.

Chicagoland Remodeling Inc did paint my windows and do other painting work. They did very good work. I will use them in the future.

They came on time, were professional and cleaned-up when they were done. The products that were used were high quality and they actually did some extra work to make sure that the finished product was done right. We are having them do another building. When you find someone good, stick with it!

They were very professional. They were on time. The job was done in two days.

Artur sent us an estimate via email. His was the lowest bid we received for the work we wanted done out of four other contractors, (all of which were on Angie's list). We corresponded about the details and when we were ready to start the work, he had a crew that would be available early the following week. Artur came out to our house with the contract and we signed it and gave him a 50% deposit. The crew was there promptly on Wednesday morning as promised. Jack and his helper worked steadily in spite of the 90 degree heat. Our house is two and three stories, so it was a lot of ladder work. They finished all the painting and staining in four days and came back on a Saturday to repair and paint the cupola. We were very pleased with them and the work they did. They were very polite, neat and professional, worked very hard in spite of the weather and did a great job!

Incorrect information from suppliers made a difficult job even more difficult, but in the end, the decks came out great.

They uncovered substandard surface below the shingles and called me immediately to show me what they uncovered. It would obviously significantly increase the price, but it was not unreasonable for what they had to do. Overall, they did an excellent job, they were prompt and courteous and the work was done in a timely manner.

They did high quality work and were willing to work with the designer I hired to help me figure out the layout and materials used. They were willing to be flexible with my schedule so that the majority of the work was done when I could have my small children out of town. They even worked through an entire weekend to get the floors and painting done before we got home. We had a problem with our cabinets being measured incorrectly (by another company), and Wally worked with our designer to figure out a solution that didn't require delaying the project. We also had delays related to the countertop installation (also with another company), and they worked around this while making sure their part of the job was done as quickly as possible. We had a water leak around one of our windows in our family room which damaged our ceiling during the time they were working here. I called to see if they could add this repair to the list,before it rained again and made the damage worse. They came out first thing the next morning and took care of the problem. I was very pleased with the work. The hardwood floors look absolutely beautiful. The cabinets and backsplash also look great. I did have to do a few touchups around the trim on the paint job, but other than that I was very pleased with everything. I would definitely use this company again and I highly recommend them to anyone considering a remodeling job.

Wally did a great job and worked around our other contractors and painters on our house remodel. From the beginning we felt we could trust Wally and never felt he was taking advantage of us. We would highly recommend Chicagoland Remodeling for anyone looking to replace their roof.

from quote to final payment Wally and his company deserve the high grades they receive. Very professional and even suggested cheaper options for me to decide on. His crew came in did their job and kept my home as clean as possible. not only would use use again but WILL in the next month or so. This is the kind of company you want working on your project for you.

The work was completed in one day. The people I dealt with were very professional and knowledgeable. I especially appreciated the follow up call after the work was done to be sure that I was satisfied with everything.

Just recently I noticed that my roof had some seepage and minor leaks from the roof area. Discovering that my parents had a tear-off and new shingles installed back in summer of 1986, it was due. Went to Angie's list for recommendations (THANKS!!!) and picked out the first 4 companies. Chicagoland Remodeling Inc, was the first one contacted, with follow-up calls back and forth to ensure that Wally Szymanski and I would meet. Wally stopped by and we went on the roof for a estimate. After the inspection and measuring, Wally gave me lots of information that answered a few questions I had. He is a straight shooter, no BS kind of guy that I appreciated very much and the estimate with discounts, flexible plan on paying - credit card or personal check or a combination of both(!) plus a crew to do the job in a week almost sealed the deal at that point. But, I had 3 companies lined up for estimates so giving him the contract would be premature at best. The second company that I had a appointment with stood me up (nice). The next day, the third company shot me a price without wood would be $6500.00 plus before discounts plus a 4 to 6 week wait for the job to start and inflexible payment (No credit cards) only checks pretty much sealed the deal for me. The fourth company was called and I cancelled the estimate with them. I contacted Wally to tell him that he won the job. Two days later I showed up at the office in Elmwood Park to sign the contract. Then the wheels began to roll quickly - Wally proceeded to go to the village hall to pull the permit (cool!) got a dumpster. (that I used to throw my junk after the roof was done - bonus!!) The crew showed up a week later, early,( I liked that) and proceeded put tarps over the grass, sidewalk and laid sheets of plywood along the house and the neighbors. Tear-off was done very quickly but the job was halted at mid-day due to rain. Next day they arrived early, and went to town! The neighbors reported that these guys were fast, effiecent, and skilled and the job was done in mid-day. I came home and inspected the job - I was impressed and so was my father. Two days later, I started to pull the lawn mower out, but decided to inspect the grounds around the house - it was clean, no nails, wood, large pieces of shingles or felt was left. Great job guys!!!!

We had so many odd jobs and had used Chicago Remodeling for tuck pointing a year ago. They did a great job on that so we decided to have them tackle our other jobs which included roof work, outdoor metal painting, caulking the front steps and repairing a concrete wall. They did a GREAT job and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.Chicagoland Remodeling is amazingly versatile and can handle a wide range of jobs. Their prices are very reasonable and we have been consistently pleased with their work.

Chicagoland Remodeling Inc has recently completed the installation of a new tile roof on our home in Calumet City. We are happy to tell you that the experience has been totally positive and trouble free. We were not looking forward to the enormous step of replacing our roofs (house and garage) & gutters replacement as so many of our neighbors had had a great deal of aggravation and disappointment with quality, construction time, reliability, etc. We consider ourselves so very fortunate to have found and hired Chicagoland Remodeling. Wally alleviated our concerns from the onset when you came to our home, explained the entire process, and answered all of our questions in a professional and courteous manner. A few weeks ago, there was a hail that hit our community. The roof on our building was damaged along with our skylights. I contacted our insurance company and they sent out an adjuster who examined the roof. They concluded that between hail, wind and rain, my roof needed to be replaced, along with my roof vents, skylights and fascia. The insurance company told me to get three estimates and I could pick the roofer of my choice to complete the job. Knowing the reputation that you have in the community and the quality of work that you provide, I called Chicagoland Remodeling Inc, first. Wally Szymanski came to my home and he climbed on top of my roof and gave me a full evaluation of the damage. He suggested a complete roof tear-off, fascia replacement, gutters and downspouts replacement. Also, he noticed some severe plywood damage and suggested that we replace several sheets of plywood. Another company did come out for an estimate, but the estimator stood on the ground and wrote an estimate based on "40 years of experience", he said. Well, after seeing your thorough estimate, I made the correct decision to go with Chicagoland Remodeling. In one day, crew completely tore off my roof, replaced the damaged wood, replaced gutters and downspouts and replaced my roof. Then, they completely cleaned up my yard. They had covered our landscaping with tarps and also the interior of my house where the skylights were placed. I didn't have to sweep or clean up one piece of wood or pick up one nail. You guys were GREAT. Wally even took pictures of damaged areas for me so I could see for myself how bad my roof really was damaged. Paul-foreman was polite and very thorough. All your workers were very courteous and very knowledgeable. Thanks to Chicagoland Remodeling for providing me with a 30 year, secure roof over my home. My husband and I were extremely pleased with the way you worked with our insurance company to get the job done quickly and on budget. This was an excellent experience! All of the work was performed within a 3 day period. Workers were on time and there when promised. The quality of work is excellent. Wally kept in constant contact and is very responsive. My wife had many companies give bids and Chicagoland's was very competitive. I would have no hesitation with doing additional work with Wally and Chicagoland Remodeling. The one thing I like is he uses his own workers, no subcontractors. The company takes pride in their work and wants to make sure the customer is happy before payment is made. We've had a few heavy rains since the roof, gutter and skylight work was completed and no problems. If you are looking for a good company to do business with I highly recommend Chicagoland Remodeling.

Wally and his crew were timely, professional and quick. They did a great job on on the tiles.I am very pleased with the work. I will hire Chicago Remodeling again.
