From the scheduling of the estimate, to the post-installation clean-up, my wife and I were very pleased with Chicagoland Remodeling. The estimate was fair (less than many, but not the lowest). Wally impressed me with his experience and suggestions for the gutter replacement. His workers were professional, and Wally's supervision of the project was impressive. Even the clean-up was first rate. (Our landscape professional commented that usually after a major job like this, there are nails and minor debris embedded in the lawn. . . he reported that this was one of the best clean-ups he had experienced.) My "straight 'A" rating is sincere. Chicagoland Remodeling is a "class act". ..I recommend them without reservation...

the workers came on time and were very diligent.. THe painter did a beautiful job in his work. It looked beautiful. The work was supervised closely by Wally. H e made sure everything was done to my satisfaction and done correctly. I will use there services gladly again

I had 3 companies come and give an estimate. Chicagoland Remodeling was not only competitive, but at the same time very proffesional, and showed enthusiasm. - this is what sold me and why i chose them. This was my very first experience with a contractor / remodling project and all the horror stories you hear about contractors being 3 weeks late, not trustworthy ...etc.... NONE of that applies to Chicago Remodeling - they were always on time, trustworthy, and actually finished ahead of schedule!

They are a good company. They do the work themselves and are pretty prompt at scheduling the work. They are good about cleaning up the mess that is created with tearing off and installing the roof. There was a small issue that came about, however a fair agreement was made and all went well. I have recommended them to a neighbor and would use them again, if needed, in the future.

It looks great so far.the ceiling work looks fine. they did a good decorating job.

I called w companies (both A) from angie's list to compare their response, impression of problems and their price. The price with this company was about $200 better. The workman completed the work with no problem.

From start to finish, it was a pleasure to deal with Wally and his crew. They were all professional and friendly. No delays or surprises - everything happened just as Wally promised it would. The yard was left neat at the end of the job. The house looks great! And the price was very reasonable. I HIGHLY recommend this company!

I needed a new roof,gutters,downspouts and awning due to hail damage from April 2010. I joined Angie's list site and contacted Chicagoland Remodeling due to their positive feedback from other users. I am happy to say everything was done to my satisfaction. Working along with Chicagoland and my insurance company was easy and painless. Owner Walter was very responsive to what I wanted and needed to get the job done. Work was completed in 1 day as they had plenty of workers to get the job done as fast as possible(no lingering job site). My family was very happy in the quality of the work, as I would highly recommend Chicagoland Remodeling in the future.

Artur came to check it out, he made an estimate for this with a turnaround time of 24 hrs. Price was reasonable. I wanted to schedule the job as soon as possible however it was difficult because of their previous commitments. So one day, without any warning, I heard noises in the roof and there they were... the roofers working on my problem, which they solved.

Their Project Manager Marcin came and looked over the job and quoted us a very fair and good price quickly. His response time for the onsite walk down and quote was excellent. He was the quickest out of all the companies we called and the price was by far the best. They then showed up onsite at our home to work when they promised and performed exceptional work within the time frame they quoted. They worked efficiently and they performed quality work. We were very pleased and impressed with both the people of the company and their quality of work. I recommend them highly and will call them again if need arises.

When water started dripping through my living room ceiling a few days ago, my husband and I thought we'd need a new roof for sure. We called the 3 closest roofers on Angie's List. Wally called back and came to look at it within 24 hours of my call (which was on a Sunday). Nobody else even responded within the 24 hours. He seems very honest and said we just needed some caulk for now. He had two of his employees take care of it the very next day. I was impressed that he was here when he said he would be, did what he said he would and didn't try to make a bigger job out of it to charge me a bundle. He and his employees were very pleasant and courteous to deal with, and I will definitely call him in the future. I feel it is rare to get such honesty and excellent customer service these days. We were very impressed.

Everything went very well. The crew was extremely nice and did a very professional job. They kept things clean as much as possible by sealing off the work area with plastic and covering the carpets, etc., with plastic. Wally had some really good ideas - we put in a ceiling fixture in the bathroom that had a light, fan, and heating unit - very nice on those chilly winter mornings! We purchased the tub, tile, etc., separately, and the guys were great about going out to the plumbing supply company and the tile store to pick up our purchases. They wanted to make sure we were 100% satisfied - the guy who installed the medicine cabinet over the vanity was taller than my husband and I, and on the final inspection, we said the only thing we would want to change was lowering the medicine cabinet 2-3 inches. He said no problem, took it down and reinstalled it! We were also surprised when the day they finished the work, Izabela called from the office to schedule cleaners to come over the clean the house. That was a very nice touch. They started the work on time and were only delayed slightly by the giant snowstorm of 2011. We would definitely recommend Chicagoland Remodeling and plan to use them again.

Called for estimate, came out promptly, knowledgeable, provided great customer service, sent detailed estimate report. Did not go with them for the job but felt they would have provided great customer service and good work.

The project went well overall, especially given that it is an outdoor project and it was very cold! Wally made sure we got the color and product we wanted. We also had Chicagoland Remodeling bid on some inside work (renovating a bathroom and bedroom) and will be using this company for that project as well.

Perfectly, from estimate to completion! Wally was very prompt for the estimate appointment, went up on roof to carefully inspect. Offered to return another day (and did), to meet with insurance adjuster (there was wind damage). Was the best organized contractor I've ever met (and I used to be one years ago). Wally and his wife are very personable, and very knowledgeable and experienced. It was very pleasant working with them. The work begun when they told us it would, and was accomplished quickly and efficiently, from his obtaining the permits, through the cleanup. Inspection revealed excellent quality detailed work without any shortcuts. They even were kind enough to tuckpoint the chimney, as an extra bonus. I cannot say enough about how much I respect the integrity and knowledge of this contractor. I would use them again and recommend them without any proviso or hesitation. They are honest, hardworking, knowledegeable and obviously dedicated to doing good work for their customers.

Got 3 estimates. Chicagoland was lowest by over $1000. Wally was congenial and did a thorough inspection for the estimate. Noted that my current attic vents were insuficient for the size of my attic. Work performed on time with no incident. Cleanup was good. Currently getting estimate for hardwood flooring from Chicagoland since roofing work was so well done.

Wally and Izabella were great to work with. They came in with the lowest bid, yet the quality their work was better than expected. The only reason I gave them a B on quality (which would be a B+ if that was a rating) was because they had to come back to fix the flashing that was turned up, and because I had not expected the amount of dust due to grinding the masonary as part of the tuckpointing. They were very prompt to return our calls and responding to our many questions. When I called with some questions about the roof, Wally came by my house within an hour to respond to my concern and fixed the flashing himself. His team worked efficiently as they completed all 3 jobs very quickly. I will not hesitate to use them again. And we do plan to.

The complete roofing and exterior remodeling experience with Chicagoland Roofing was excellent. We highly recommend Wally and his team for any roofing and exterior remodeling work.

They arrived to do the work, and from start to finish, were very professional in their work. They also repaired my chimney which had been damaged by a tree branch. I would definitely use them again, and recommend them to anybody.

When Wally came over to look at the job he listened to what I wanted him to do. He took notes and made suggestions. He told me he could put in a bathroom fan, which other contractors weren't willing to do or said that it would be tricky. Wally's crew hade no problem putting it in, plus they gave me paperwork that would guarantee the roof shingles that would have to be replaced. This is how they worked throughout the project. They knew what they were doing and they are good about the details and finishing. They covered the bathroom door with heavy sheeting with a zipped entrance so that the dust wouldn't spread throughout the house. These guys are the best wall finishers. Our walls had old wall paper and of course the walls were bumpy with paste, etc. The walls looked so beautiful when finished, they did such a good job with that. The crew is very friendly and accomodate request in a responsive, kind manner. I can say that you'd be hard pressed to find such professionals that do great work at such a reasonable and fair rate. The job took about 3 days, but most of that time was to work on the walls and make sure the plaster dried. The last day they put in all the fixtures and painted. I LOVE MY BATHROOM!! Wally and his crew did a terrific job. He was willing to return to my house after the estimate to meet with my insurance adjustor. The work was done promptly and they left no mess. I forgot to submit this report when the work was done last October so I can further state that it's been a year with no problems, including a winter with heavy snow fall.

They were very quick to come out to do the estimate. We actually had the estimate the next day. We shopped around and their pricing couldn't be beat for the variety of work we needed to have done. It was very convenient for us to have such a responsive and professional company that could do such a variety of work. They were very punctual each morning and very polite. It was amazing how fast they worked! And amazingly they installed the patio door and windows on the most windy day in Chicago in decades! The showers look like new with the new grout and caulking and the drywall work in both the living room and master bath is seamless. We are so very happy with the quality of work! The paint and baseboards were completed beautifully! We've already recommended them to others and will definitely use them again for future projects. We feel like we're in a new home!

We have a 1930's, two story, tudor style house with several peaks and gables. We needed a tear off and new roof as well as new soffit and fascia and new gutters. We got two quotes-one from a neighbor referal and one from Chicagoland Remodeling which we got by consulting Angies List. Chicagoland Remodeling's quote was less expensive and was more complete than the first quote. We went with Chicagoland and we couldn't be happier! Wally was great to work with. He was very responsive and knowlegable. His crew was very professional. They did neat and great work and on time! Not much more to ask for! We plan to hire them again to side our screen porch and possibly for window replacement in the spring. They were courteous and gave me the lowest written estimate of three companies. They started in just a few days.

No complaints. It took them a couple of weeks to get the job started but once they started it was done quickly and very professionally. I received many bids and this was the best bid. It was done right and the entire process was painless.
