Description of Work: I went with this outfit because they included moving supplies in the hourly rate (no surprises on tape , plastic wrap and blanket charges at the time of moving) and take care to protect your place by padding doorways and protecting flooring). I was very specific when getting our estimate that we were moving from a high 3rd floor 2 bedroom apartment in a walk up vintage building (4 winding flights up/down) to 3rd floor place (an easier 2 flights up/down) and it was suggested that we needed a four person crew approx. 5-6 hrs; which we agreed to. We had our things boxed and organized prior to their expected 10am arrival. They showed up late with too small of a crew. We were given no notice beforehand by the main office that they couldn't staff the move as quoted. More time was wasted while the foreman called his office to see if they could get a 4th guy out. My boyfriend ended up carrying boxes and furniture like he was the 4th guy throughout the entire move! While helped them at the first location I also loaded my own truck with tvs,boxes, etc and moved it unassisted to the new place. And we both were helping unload and carry boxes into the new place. This was what we were trying to avoid by hiring professional movers! They switched crew members out multiple times and did not get that 4th guy out until they had spent over 5hrs at the first location! With the exception of the foreman, the crew unloading at the destination were completely new guys. Unlike the initial crew (who the FOREMAN said were the wrong guys, slow, had bad attitudes and were inexperienced) these guys worked faster to get everything into our new place in 2hrs. We had a 10am start time and they finished after 6pm! The office was slow to respond to the written and phone complaints I made regarding their professionalism, scheduling and our bill. Eventually they issued us a $15 refund check as a "courtesy".

Description of Work: We scheduled the movers then had to re-schedule due to some issues with our home purchase. We were given different quotes each time and the prices on the moving boxes were not accurate. They did not add up to the total on the list. The movers arrived later than expected and were 2 college-aged kids. We moved a lot of our smaller items ourselves before the movers came in order to try and avoid taking a long time. Well, they still managed to take more than 4 hours just to wrap and move a couch, table, 2 desks, bookshelf, kitchen table, bed and dressers. That was just too long for the very few things we had them move plus our apartment and new home only had 1 floor to move these things to and from. If we had a choice, we would probably use another moving company the next time around.

Description of Work: We used the company to carry a heavy piece of furniture with several pieces up from our basement to the front of the house for trash pick up. They were not only on time but were available earlier. They phoned before they arrived. The men were professional and took care to protect the floors and furniture.

Description of Work: We hired Two Men and a Truck to move my mom from Aurora to Batavia.

Description of Work: The service provided consisted of two men that moved the furniture from the main level of my townhome into a Pod placed in my driveway. This was done to allow wood flooring to be installed . After the job was completed on the floor , two men returned and moved the furniture back into my home.

Description of Work: The company moved my father from his apartment to another apartment about three miles away.
