Description of Work: We've used Terminix for more than 15 years, originally for carpenter ants. After that problem was taken care of, we've had them spray (or they drop granules if it's raining) around the outside of the house four times a year. This has kept away the bugs, and they will come anytime in between if we have a problem. We've been very satisfied. (I no longer have a comparison with other providers as to the cost.)

Description of Work: we have them come throughout the year to spray for bugs and check for rodents. they come when scheduled, and will come if I call before scheduled service if needed. no additional charge

Description of Work: Matthew Goelz is amazing. He found the ant colony (in a tree) and was able to eliminate my pesky tiny ants. He is professional, well groomed and a pleasure to deal with. He knows his job. He stays until he figures out the problem. I have used other pest control companies, and I will stay with Terminix. There is one in my area that couldn't kill a bug with its shoe.

Description of Work: This is an annual contract. They do the general house spray inside and out.

Description of Work: we had ants in our home. We hired Terminix to take care of the problem. To begin, they couldnt come over for 5 days. After the treatment we still had ants. we were told a tech would come back over as much as we needed. It took Terminix 10 days to come back over. On the day that our service was scheduled, they were a no show. Poor service. wouldn't use them again.

Description of Work: I back up to a field so I have a problem with field mice in my basement. I called Terminex to see what they ould do to prevent the mices from entering my house. They sent out a lady exterminator at about 7 pm at night when it was dark outside She then proceeded to go around the outside of the house with a penlight. She claim that she was looking for the places that the mice could enter my home. If i couldn't see it in the daylight, how in the world was she going to see it at night with a penlight. She then proceeded to set the paper mouse traps inside the basement. After a month, and no mice were caught and the mice droppings were still in the basement, I called them back out. They came out and check the traps and did nothing else. After the third month and the mouse droppings were still appearing I asked for a refund. Thank goodness they have a 90 day guarantee. One other note, they gave me sonme spray to use for ants, spinders and other insects. This is the worse smelling stuff and it does not work as well as RAID. This was the terminix that is located in Aurora, IL not Elmhurst.

Description of Work: I left work early to be home for a service appointment between 5-7pm. The service provider (Tho) never showed. You never get a second chance to make a first impression, and as such, I will be using another company and do not recommend Terminix.
