We’re very happy with how our kitchen turned out, and their experienced guidance from the very start when ordering our cabinets and even sharing insight about things like appliance sizing was appreciated. They went above and beyond for our job, even handling the recycling of the mountains of cardboard we ended up with from appliances and cabinets! Fred Sr was also able to recommend local vendors for countertops, hardware, etc and that was a big help to us, too.

+ 3 moreFred & son remodeled my bathroom, pretty much gutting it and putting in new floor (tile), vanity with granite countertop, recessed mirror, toilet, and lighting (moved from overhead lighting to sconces on side of mirror. Installed new baseboards and window/door frames as bathroom trim went from oak to white. They left the workspace clean & neat (as possible) every day. They also did not juggle multiple jobs: they take on one job and finish it before moving on to next. So my bathroom took only 3-4 days from start to finish. I'm very happy with the result and can easily recommend this company to others for quality and fair price.

They replaced all the doors, replaced the old baseboards and molding, installed recessed lighting, ripped out the old carpet, replaced the ceiling fan, repaired damaged walls, painted the room, and did everything excellently, including cleaning up after the work was finished. We will have them back this year to re-do three bedrooms for us!

+ 3 moreWe highly recommend Quality Home Service. We were very satisfied with the work they did for us in 2008, so we called them to do further work on the bathroom. Fred and his son are honest, knowledgeable and experienced and do high quality work. The offer suggestions that greatly improve the outcome. They are friendly, punctual, neat and considerate, taking care to keep the work area and rest of the house clean. They haul away debris. They are responsible, giving us regular progress updates and are always available by phone. The results exceeded our expectations and we would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to others.
Description of Work: Bathroom remodel: replacing tub with walk-in shower; installing new wall tile, vanity, toilet, medicine cabinet and light; painting.

+ 0 moreThe father and son company did an excellent job within the time frame specified. They had done a kitchen and bathroom remodel previously. Obviously I would not have used them again if not satisfied. They always go above and beyond doing other things requested.
Description of Work: Since I live in an older house, the water pipes in them need replaced for better water pressure. Quality Home Service replaced pipes with copper, and also replaced the outside faucets.

They were just so friendly, Very professional and very clean and neat, very punctual, if they were suppose to be here they were and on time. They went out to lunch and offered to bring some thing back. They here for about a week. I thought I would have to clean up something, when they were done, I though my housekeeper had been there, They cleaned everything. He is honest and he listens to what I wanted. We were on the same page.
Description of Work: The completely remodeled the upstairs bathroom, including in removing the tub, and vanity, and did some repairs in the wall. They also did some repair work in the kitchen, and refinished cabinets, and repaired some plastering in ceiling.

+ 2 moreCalled late on Friday for help figuring where a shower leak was coming from. Fred was going to come same day but timing worked better for us to have him come Saturday. He showed up first thing in the morning. He looked over our bathroom/basement and gave us his diagnosis and advised us what piece needed to be purchased. He told us how to fix ourselves so we could save some money. He didn't do any work so he didn't charge us for the visit. This isn't the first time we have used the Freds and wont be the last! Hire these guys, they are awesome and will work extremely hard for you as if you were extended family.

+ 6 moreAwesome, the Fred's are great people. They were very fair with their price and their work was amazing. They really cared about doing a great job and leaving us happy with the work. I had just had my baby and Fred Sr kept me company at my house while I had another contractor install the counter tops, just a kind family man. We went through Home Depot for the design and Fred also sat 3 hours with us to make sure they got the design right, he was adamant that we were taking care of correctly (we have a weird kitchen). They are very trustworthy, hardworking professionals and they will always be my first call for work in my house. I don't think I can say enough about how great these guys are, no matter what your job is they will take care of you.

+ -1 moreAfter using the kitchen for over 2 months, I have to say there is nothing I would want changed. I do not hesitate to recommend Quality Home Service for a kitchen remodel.
Description of Work: Quality Home Service did a total kitchen remodel. This company is a father and son team who are very flexible and easy to work with. In the remodel, they did extensive electrical updating; updated the plumbing and moved a water line; moved the gas line for the range; installed some hardwood flooring; installed all of the cabinets; and did the refinishing work. Although you can choose your own subcontractors, they had excellent subs for sanding and refinishing the hardwood floors, and doing the painting. With the father's years of experience, he had some excellent suggestions for improving the design, but if there is a certain way you want the remodel done, that is the way it is done. For example, a suggestion was made to put the sink under a window, but we wanted it in a corner---that is the way it was done to our satisfaction.

Their work is meticulous and when the work was completed they did a good job of cleaning up. They are both friendly and easy to work with. I would highly recommend their services.
Description of Work: Helped with ideas for small kitchen remodel. Made a cut out in dining room wall, moved island, added cabinet to island and attached to wall. Installed 10 roll our drawers. Helped with a problem in six of the drawers ordered so they would fit in existing cabinet.

+ 0 moreI had a few smaller jobs that I needed help with and I found it difficult to get someone to help with small jobs, but Fred was great! I called on Monday and since I work he was willing to schedule me for Saturday morning which was helpful. He confirmed the appointment the night before and communicated with me on the day of. Fred helped me insulate some pipes, fix a weakened faucet and was able to patiently troubleshoot a problem with my smoke detectors to get them to all communicate with each other. Fred needed a part and went to Home Depot to pick it up and was back promptly. I would definitely use Quality Home Services in the future and would recommend them. He's local, affordable, and Fred's a nice guy!

After looking at the toilet situation we decided that I should just get a new toilet that was water efficient. I have a tight work schedule so the next time he could come out was Wed. Jan. 30. I called him at 8:15 am, he was at my house by 9:15 and done by about 10:45. He also did a couple of little handyman things that I needed to be done. No job is too small.
