+ -1 moreI could not be happier with Brian Dwyer and Prestige Heating & Cooling. He is the most honest small business owner I have ever worked with. Knowing we plan to be in this home for 30+ years, he researched a brand that offers lifetime replacement on whole furnace and air conditioner units. He spent time breaking down a furnace to ensure that it meets his standards. Brian left his work space cleaner than he found it! And he offers a 10 year labor guarantee. We now have a new furnace, air conditioner, humidifier, UV air purifier, and wifi enabled digital thermostat with temperature sensors in three rooms and could not be happier with his honesty, professionalism, workmanship, and responsiveness.
Description of Work: We needed to replace a furnace and air conditioner that were both 22 years old.

+ -1 moreThe contractor was required to move the old boiler from the site, which they have not done. I had a small problem involving people turning off the electricity switch to the boiler in my building, and Prestige came out to take care of it. More recently, however, the boiler stopped working. I have been trying to get into contact with them ever since. Prestige gave me something to check initially, but that was not the problem. In a later call after reporting the readout on the boiler he said it didn't look good, and that he would come and have a look at it. At this time I also notified him of water leaks from two locations of boiler piping. That was on the 14th of March, almost one month ago. I have been trying to get them to come out, but have been told no one is in, that they will send someone out, and finally they have started to not answer phone calls coming from my number. I have a one year warranty on the boiler,with added servicing twice a year.
Description of Work: I had Prestige out originally to give me an estimate on my old boiler. The unit was heating the apartment too much. The gentleman who came said it was dangerous for me to operate the boiler and said I should replace it. I chose the option for the higher efficiency boiler. I accepted the contract and they install the boiler on Nov 22, 2006.
