+ -1 moreFor standard gutter cleaning, they are reliable and efficient. They don't run water through the gutters to flush them but do a good job getting rid of the leaves, etc. They seem to raise the price by $10 couple of years. They over-quoted us this last time (asked for $120) but corrected it when we pointed out it had been $110 before the discount six months ago. It had been $90 (after $10 discount) in 2007.

+ 0 moreMy f-i-l's gutters get cleaned frequently, and it is a qick easy job, but we were happy not to do it ourselves this time. That cost $70, less a $10 coupon. We decided to have ours done as well, as some are too high for our ladder and never get cleaned, plus the 2 skylights are also too high, and were covered with tree sap and dirt. They estimated $90 for ours, plus $5 per skylight, less a $15 coupon for combined services. When they got here, they saw there were 3 levels, not 2, so it was an extra $10, but they more than earned it-- they did a lot of work to get the gutters clean, and the sticky skylights took repeated soaking and scrubbing.

+ -1 moreBased on the research I had done on Angie's List, I gave this company a call for gutter cleaning services. I found them to be very professional. I got to pick the day and time for them to come out (which was great because I work full-time), and they gave me an accurate estimate of cost on the phone. The best part is they actually showed up on time, got right to work, and were finished in about half an hour. They bagged all the debris, handed me the receipt and let me mail in my payment! I later received a call from the owner thanking me for my business - and I have to say that is the first time that has ever happened. Job well done. I will definitely use this company again.
Description of Work: They cleaned the gutters of leaves on both my house and garage. Unfortunately I had already had the outside water turned off and the hoses had been put away so they couldn't flush them out as they had expected to do, but they did a great job of cleaning them out by hand.

+ -1 moreI called this company on a Wednesday, gave a description of my house, and was given a quote over the phone, minus a $10.00 discount as an Angie's list member. The work was scheduled for the following Monday, when they would be doing jobs in my area. Pablo, and his assistant, whose name I regret I did not get, arrived during the time frame that was promised. They completed the work in 30 minutes, including the replacement of two pieces of siding trim. They were personable, efficient and totally competent. I am very pleased with my experience with this company, and I plan to use them for annual gutter cleanings, as well as, for the other services which they provide.
Description of Work: The gutters on my raised ranch home and attached garage, were cleaned by hand. Debris was collected in a bucket and then bagged and removed. Clogs in the downspouts on two sides of the house were cleared, and all downspouts were flushed with a hose. Pablo even replaced two pieces of siding trim that had fallen from the soffit, nailing not only these pieces, but also adjacent pieces that he said were loose, and could eventually fall, as well.

+ -1 moreOn Thursday night, I discovered rain pouring through my kitchen window. I knew the gutters were clogged and had actually called three Angie's List companies for estimates that day. I called L.A. McMahon at 8:30 am Friday and by 9:30 am there were two employees at my front door ready to do the job! Marco and Francisco had all the gutters and downspouts clean in record time. L.A. McMahon do more than clean gutters, I will definitely use this company again! Thanks to everyone at L.A. McMahon!

+ -1 moreI was looking through the books and saw their advertisement. I decided to try them. I called and made an appointment. They did not mention the time at which they were going to come. They came over and did the job. They said that it would be okay if we were not at home. They said they would leave the bill in the mailbox if we were not home. That was very nice of them. However, we were at home. They were very nice and friendly. They were a really messy so it took them about 30 to 40 minutes to do the job. We were pleased with the results of the job. It was the first time we had this kind of job done and I thought it was a fair price. I will be calling them next month. I am waiting for the leaves to come down.

Description of Work: They cleaned my windows inside and out, including one tall palladium window. Update 8/11/12: DON'T SCHEDULE ON A SATURDAY! In the past, I mostly had them come on my day off (Wednesday). I was told what time they would be there and they were- within a few minutes. Nice. This year, the sales person called me in the middle of a hectic day and I foolishly said "yes" when he said "Saturday between 11 and 1." I thought that was odd, never had been given a range like that before. Should have know better. At 12:10, I called to see what the timing was going to be, was told they would be there "in 20-25 minutes." They arrived at 12:57pm. Three minutes to spare. And they took a few minutes to get going. As far as I can see, they did their usual good job and they were very polite. But then they were counting windows, saying to each other that there were more than allowed for the charge I have had the past 4 years. Which may be true, depending on how you count windows. . But the salesperson quoted me the same price on the phone as in the past. They will have to sort it out themselves. I may use them in the future, but I will NOT schedule on a Saturday and I will NOT accept a 2 hour range for them to come. They are good, fast and reasonably price, but time is sometimes more precious than anything else.

+ -1 moreWe called on a Friday, and the workers were there on Saturday morning. Our gutters hadn't been cleaned in years, and it was a very big job. To complicate matters, we have a cedar shingle roof, which prevented the workers from walking onto the roof. The workers finished the job extremely quickly and cleaned up their entire mess. Our only small issue was that we caught one worker standing on the roof, despite the very clear instructions to the main office that no one walk on the roof tiles. The worker immediately climbed down and finished the job without incident.
