+ -1 moreGreat experience. Will hire them again when we are ready to do our second floor. We knew there was hardwood under the carpet in the 2 rooms but didn't know what condition it was in. After another company ripped out the carpet during a kitchen remodel, we called Jepson out to give us a quote on sanding and refinishing. There were 3 trouble spots that we weren't sure would come out. Jim said we can go ahead and sand it down or we would be looking at replacing the entire space. We rolled the dice and went with the sanding and chose a dark walnut finish to cover any residual spots that the sanding would not get out. We could not believe how great everything turned out. The trouble spots are all but invisible, you can only tell there was a tiny stain if you knew where to look. The crew was very professional, very courteous and a great pleasure to work with.
Description of Work: Sanded and Refinished hardwood in living room and dining room, about 400 sq ft. Put in a few new boards to cover a gap where a wall was removed and installed 2 raised thresholds.

+ -1 moreWe had used Jepson Sanding for two floors about 15 years ago and were pleased then. We got several estimates for this new job in an old house we recently purchased and liked Jepson's estimate, so we went with them again. We are fixing up the house and we decided to refinish all the wood floors, and we are so glad we did! Jepson's worker did an excellent job and it was 99% dust-free. We are thrilled with the finished product, as the floors look brand-new. Everything happened as scheduled, and Jim Jepson was very responsive to phone calls and questions. The worker was polite, punctual, efficient and left the place as neat as a pin. We highly recommend Jepson Floor Sanding.
Description of Work: Sanded and put 3 coats of polyurethane on wood floors of 3 rooms (including 2 closets) and a small hallway.

Description of Work: Jim refinished the entire first floor of our home after our previous contractor left our floors a mess. Jim and his team thoroughly sanded, stained, and sealed the floors. They look amazing, I can't thank Jim enough for his help. I would recommend him to anyone looking to get their floors done.

Description of Work: Very professional team. Came on time, did the work required. Came back multiple times to sand, apply stain. Cleaned up after they left. Came back again when I asked for some minor additional work done. Definitely would recommend.
