HANDYMAN BILL

Bill got back to me within just a few hours of calling. So many companies do not return my call at all. We live too far away, but Bill provided expert guidance on next steps to take if we wanted to do the project ourselves. My husband did want to do the project with my son. However, he was unable to find replacement fence post. Bill provided names of two other companies near him who may have this type of post. To save time, he advised to text a picture of it to fence company rather than make a trip. He advised on advantage / disadvantage of concrete versus epoxy too. Highly recommend if you live in the service area.

Very efficient. He did what needed to be done to do the job.

It was really good. I spoke to him about five minutes and I told him what I wanted and he said he would be back the next day. I wasn't even around, he came, did the work and I checked it out and it was perfect. I was happy.

Installing the porch light was not easy due to corrosion of the prior light which made it difficult to remove. And a second trip was needed due to a faulty switch. But Bill worked around these difficulties and got the job done. He clearly know what he was doing.

Called Bill and left a message and he called back very quickly. He understood the problem offered a solution and came out the next day and made the repairs... Bill was informative throughout the process and I will not hesitate to use him again.

Everything went fine. It was done within a day or two of my first call which was great. He did a good job, and cleaned everything up, too. The price was what he initially quoted even though he did say warn me of the potential for a slightly higher cost in the end (I think it was if the gutters were partially frozen or something like that).

He was very reasonably priced. I probably didn't need him again to come out because the city cut through my trees and so I didn't have as much of a problem. He was very good. He came out and I think it was within a day. I thought the amount I paid him was very reasonable. He was very punctual and very professional. The job got done and I called him late in the season, and he was just very good about coming out right away.

Bill arrived when he said he would, and worked quickly and steadily. He had purchased all the needed materials beforehand. He said he would return to recaulk a bathroom glass block window when the outside temperature was higher, as it was not advisable to do it while the window was so cold.

He came over looked at the project and was not interested in doing anything with any difficulty. In his words and quot;if you were a friend or neighbor I might do this for youand quot;. It was installing a wall mounted microwave shelf and hood.

I use them all the time. He is absolutely terrific.

He was really wonderful. He called ahead. He was such a hard worker. He was supposed to come and then he got back logged and then we had him come the next day. He did not have to remove the whole lock. He had a whole van full of stuff. He was able to just fix one part which saved us money and then he just kind of fix another door for us. We are really, really happy with him. He really kept us up to date with his appointments. He had to switch the dates but that was okay.

Bill responded to my request and completed the work the same day that I contacted him. He told me that not all the gutters needed cleaning and gave a thorough explanation of what he found, did and why. He also provided recommendations for how to improve some things to stop the downspout blockages. This is the second time Bill has done work for me and I would not hesitate to call him again. He takes time to explain what the options are and what he recommends doing, and both times his solutions prevented additional unnecessary expense.

I think he came that afternoon. I called him in the morning because I was concerned that we'd get water in the basement. He was there in the afternoon.

He completed both jobs as he said he would and reported back the general condition as he found them. In cases where additional work was needed, he completed and charged accordingly. I will not hesitate to use him again on additional projects. I was very satisfied.

The stairs on our deck seemed to be separating from the structure. Called Bill and he was out the next day and had it fixed. Just needed some new screws, as the old ones had rusted and broke. He called me a couple of times to explain the issue and how he was going to fix it. Also offered another alternative if we wanted, to add a different type of support, but indicated what he did was twice as strong as the original. Our deck is 10+ years old. Great communication, price and workmanship. Would definitely call him again for any repairs.

He responded right away with a phone call. He came to see what needed to be done; we set a day and time for him to do the work. He was very professional and friendly. I would definitely use him again

I had a lock on a gate that needed to be taken off. Handman Bill came right over and was able to help me out. He has also looked at a plumbing issue for me but I ended up using a plumber. I will definitely phone him again.

Bill is what my dad was; he knows a little about a lot and has that attention to detail that matters and is hard to find these days. He is prompt, creative, persistent and easy to work with and he provides a wealth of tips and free information for the asking. This man did everything from replace the sill to my garage door, to pointing out my foundation needed sealing (and he did it) to chasing down and getting rid of a massive ant population. He also dug up a massive clump of grass and took down an old fence and rail (and this was in the extreme heat and he didn't miss a beat). Oh and he put in a new dryer vent; he went to menard's and picked up 3 or 5 different ones and brought for me to pick from and then he put it in and it is critter proof. I have every intention of having him seal the small cracks in the basement and I'm sure I'll have many more opportunities; i trust him and he trust his clients; he is rare in these day

Our experience with Handyman Bill was very positive. He was very responsive to our needs. When we were setting up a day and time for him to do the work, he suggested we hold off a few weeks until some of the trees dropped all of their seeds. That was a great idea because during the next few weeks a lot of seeds had accumulated in the gutters. His price was very reasonable for the work performed.

Bill showed up on-time, did the work quickly, and cleaned everything up. Bill is friendly and there was no pressure to do any additional tasks or expand the scope of the work I requested. I will most certainly have Bill back to do other tasks in the future.

He was awesome. I know his rate is $50 an hour. He is so dependable. When I call him, he is so right there. I call him, and leave him a message. He usually drops in, by the same day to have a look at it, and give me an estimate. Then he will do the work right away. Sometimes when I call him and by the time, I am at home, he would have already been there and done it. He is amazing. I can call him during emergency, and he will be there. I have used him with elderly relatives, and he really wants to trust the person, I send over to help them. He is good. He comes as soon as he can. He is always there on time. He lives locally, and he is fast. He is really good about explaining things in a different way to try it. He gives a lot of information. I will call him again to work on gutters. Even if I am not at home, he will still do it. He will just put the invoice in the mailbox, and I will just mail in the check. I don't even have to be here, when he is working.

Bill proptly responded to our request to replace a downed mailbox. He provided the materials. His estimate was detailed and he also explained the work that he did very well. The job was done very well. We plan on calling him again for projects as they come up.
