They were efficient and helpful. Elvis arrived safely. Nothing appeared damaged at all. I was sad my leather couch wouldn't fit into my new family room doorway but they tried.

While coordinating the move for my in-laws, I dealt with Chris (the owner) several times via phone. Chris listened to my concerns and communicated things very clearly to me. He understood my need to have a smooth move for my in-law since they are in the upper 70's. Chris visited my in-laws home and made them feel comfortable. He was flexible with his schedule allowing us to change the move date if it rained. Unfortunately, the move did not occur with Chris's company. On the date of the move, a different company (Breda Moving Company Inc), whom I had also received an estimate, arrived early and started packing my in-laws furniture into their moving van. I DID NOT sign a contract with Breda Moving Company Inc. They were too expensive. I had sent them an email that I was NOT selecting them. However, they arrived and the movers went to work before Good Move Movers arrived. By the time the confusion was cleared up, Breda Moving Company had 90% of the furniture loaded in their van. I spoke with Chris and explained the crazy scenario. Chris was very understanding and didn't charge me any fees for I really appreciated the professionalism that Chris demonstrated in the wake of all the chaos. I will definitely recommend Good Move Movers to my family and friends. They are a reputable company and their form of communication is excellent. Lastly, Jill, the scheduler at Good Move Movers is very efficient. She's detail oriented and stays on top of everything. It was a pleasure working with her as we coordinated this move for my in-laws. When I contacted the office and explained my needs the staff were friendly and courteous. I was given an estimate, provided with the rates for the service and was assured there were no hidden charges. Art and Alex showed up with the truck exactly on time. They were friendly and professional. They worked swiftly and carefully both loading and unloading the truck. I have moved many times and I can honestly say this was the smoothest most trouble free move ever. I highly recommend Good Move Movers.

THE THREE MEN WERE ON TIME ON SATURDAY MORNING. THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND EXTREMELY EXPERIENCED IN MOVING VERY HEAVY ITEMS FROM THE SECOND FLOOR. THEY DID NOT TOUCH A WALL OR ANYTHING ELSE. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO USE THEM AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.

Good Movers were an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. They were well-organized, prompt, professional, on-time and on-budget! They were highly efficient, polite and genuinely kind, even helping us box a number of pictures not a part of the contracted move. We would absolutely use them again; very nice people to do business with!

The movers were great. The company offered a very reasonable rate for packing my mom up and moving her to her new apartment 1 floor up. They took all the stress out of packing and unpacking. They were very careful and were done in no time.

They needed two trucks. They did have an in charge guy who was responsive to my questions. Since we had some nice pieces requiring care I made sure they knew it was important to me. I got about 5 bids from various companies most national carriers. I worked at doing an apples to apples comparison because the forms aren't standard and you think charges for one item are included only to find out they are broken out elsewhere or weren't included. The rep Chris Dunne was professional and responded to my calls and inquiries. The bids were clustered within around $600 of one another. Good Move was about the middle of the pack. They had a good crew of guys who packed the vans well. I left very little to chance on the packing and wrapping of furnishings only because if something gets really damaged it's a finger pointing excercise and good luck on collecting (my thought process). so my household goods got picked up, stored for two months at their warehouse, reloaded on trucks and brought to my new townhouse. One piece got slightly damaged due to the inexperience of the individual involved. He pulled a corner piece on a furnishing apart and if he'd have taken time it wouldn't have happened. Apart from that the crew didn't break anything, no damage to walls, we didn't loose anything (they tagged every item and provided me with the list). Overall pretty dam good considering horror stories I've heard about moving. I asked Chris if I could call him anytime during the move if there was something I was unhappy with or had concerns about. He gave me his cell phone. He built some trust there. I'm happy to recommend them.

atWhen I called Chris to tell him that the closing was delayed he said that the trucks were already at our new house. We didn't finish our closing until 2 hours later. When we got home, they said they couldn't park the larger truck on our street, so they would have to unload the bigger truck into the smaller truck and ferry things to our cul-de sac. We live in a 55+ community that is gated. They did not know or check out the parking/delivering situation until they got there. As a result, we were charged an hourly fee for them waiting until we got home and for the extra hours it took to ferry stuff in from the bigger truck. The head mover on the truck said he had to charge for their waiting time. When I called Chris, the owner of the business, he said that was standard practice.They must have known they were being dishonest as they never did come to pick up their remaining wardrobes and blankets. The movers themselves were very nice, it's the owner that talks a good game, but doesn't deliver.
