Removed a tree from the backyard and trimmed dead branches on another tree. Ground the tree stump. Have limited access to the backyard but they were still able to get the grinder to the area without damaging plants on the side of the house. Very impressed.

Steve and his crew were A-W-E-S-O-M-E! This is the second time I have used Dawsons Tree Service and I was extremely impressed how well they performed their job without me having to worry about anything. I gave prior instructions to cut the large crabapple tree down as low as possible and avoid damaging the neighbor's property. They remembered those instructions and completed the job as instructed. I am always impressed how well they cleaned up the area. It was as if they were never there, except for the now-removed tree. Highly recommended and would definitely use them again for a no-worry service.

Very well. I had a big branch come down during the heavy, wet snow on Oct. 30th which blocked most of the front yard and driveway. Steve from Dawson's came out that day and gave me an estimate of the work to be done and the crew came out the next day to perform the work in cold,& windy snowy conditions and trimmed the tree (and a second one in the back yard) in just about 3 hours. They cleaned up both front & back yards (as well as the neighbor's yard) thoroughly and also made sure no debris was left in the street. The crew made sure everything was done to my satisfaction before they left. I couldn't have been more pleased with their work and professionalism (especially during horrible weather conditions).

We have used Dawson for years, We need our old elm tree removed as it had dutch elm and was in bad shape. We were quoted close to $6000 by Dawson to have this removed, we received 3 other quotes that ranged from $2900 to $3800. It pays to shop around,

Dawsons was great. They did a great job on our trees. Several neighbors have already commented on the great job. Plus, they did a really good job of communicating and keeping me appraised of the quote and job status. I will definitely hire them again.

They responded to my initial phone call very quickly and came to do the work exactly when they said they would. The trimming was done just as I wanted it and they did a very good job cleaning up the area.

We had a great experience with Dawsons Tree Service. They were quick to come out for an estimate, and offered a reasonable price for maintenance on three trees in our back yard and two in the front. They also hung a children's tree swing for us. The crew arrived on time and were very polite and respectively throughout the job. They did a great job on the trees and the swing, and left the property cleaned of all debris. All in all, we were very impressed by how smoothly everything went through the whole process and by the quality of the work. We would definitely use Dawsons again for tree service.

Steve came out and gave me estimates for the work as well as providing a separate estimate and invoice for the neighbor's tree in case the neighbor wanted the work done at the same time. He told me it would be a few weeks before we would fit on the schedule. He called the day before the crew was planning to come. The crew arrived exactly on time and went to work. They removed three trees (including the neighbor's), thinned the large bass linden and pruned the neighbor's tree in about an hour and a half. It was pretty stunning to see how efficiently they worked. The crew was friendly, worked hard and did an excellent job. They cleaned up well. Steve provided a separate invoice for the neighbor. Dawson's prices were competitive, and we were very pleased with the quality of the work and Steve's willingness to answer questions and explain options. We would definitely use Dawson's in the future.

Excellent! We were concerned because of the age of our maple trees and the number of dead branches that have been falling during recent storms. I specifically wanted an arborist to look at the health of the trees. The day they pruned the trees, they also removed the dead branches that had previously fallen. And they removed all the branches that were on our roof from the last storm, that we were unable to reach. I highly recommend Dawson's!

Great service throughout the process. Estimate was done at time requested, finalized the estimate/job, accepted the estimate, contacted by Dawsons indicating the date and time of the job, crew showed up at the specified time, professionally removed four trees, removed all debris, cleaned up. Great crew completed the job in about 3 hours! Even did a few extra things for me without charge (those last minute observations you make as you walk around). Great experience with Dawson's Tree Service!

I actually called last summer to have two Burr Oaks trimmed. They recommended waiting til late fall or winter to do this as Oak trees are very susceptible to disease until they go dormant over winter. They were the only tree company to tell me this and after researching this I found it to be recommended practice. So they came out a few days ago (in December) in the bitter cold, and trimmed out my two trees. They also removed a Bradford Pear I had planted 32 years ago and was on it's last legs. They ground the stump also. The workers were thorough and they spent almost four hours here working on the trees. My Oaks are close to 200 years old and very important to us. They did a great job of pruning back some branches, removing sucker growth and general trimming. They were very neat, and did an excellent cleanup job, even going on the roof to remove fall out from the Oaks. They used my neighbor's driveway for access (with prior permission) and cleaned that up too. This is obviously a happy crew and they enjoy their work. The supervisor did a great job also. Will definitely hire again.

I called Dawson Tree Service, and got through to someone right away. Made an appointment for a free estimate for the next day. The estimate was very reasonable, and they scheduled the work for the next week. They were on time, quick, very courteous, and very careful. There were a few things about my existing landscape, that I was concerned about, and the team was very attentive to these issues. The whole job was done in under two hours ( remarkable). Very professional!

It went great. When we called for an estimate they were out in a day or two. We told him our concerns and he told us what he would do and why. The estimate was reasonable so we asked when they could do the work. He said in about a week and a half. Sure enough they were here, did the work to our satisfaction and cleaned up nicely. They were very professional and we highly recommend them and would use them again.

The price is very reasonable. I have used them many time and will do so again. They came out and gave me an estimate then came back in two week and did the job.

The guys that I had were outstanding. I paid Dawson’s 445.00 bucks and they did an A+ job. I mean like 100%. They were truly outstanding.

Responsiveness on providing a quote was satisfactory Do not recall the quote amount. Received appox 8 other quotes from other providers and went with the lowest. Work performed with another provider.

They were awesome. They were great. They came in and got everything done. We have carpenter ants and there's a process that you go through, like move a little closer to the nest, which is in the tree. And then when they take the tree down They're taking the next with it. They were great. The price wasn't terrible; I wanna say it was like $750. They took down three trees because two of them were actually headed towards the utility wires. I called the utility company and it turns out that's the homeowner's responsibility. Those were smaller trees, but they took those down and then they took down the Apple tree that had the carpenter ants in it. They ground down the stump and you couldn't even tell that there had been trees there. They were great. I would grade them A all around. I can honestly say that I have never been disappointed with services that I have gotten through Angie's List. I would refer them, absolutely.

The owner, John, was onsite to discuss the work before starting. Crew worked efficiently and did exactly what was agreed to be done (including a few additional services added same day). Cleaned up after trimming and removal was done. Very satisfied. Will be hiring again in the future.

I had a large limb fall from my Ash tree. I knew it was time for the tree to go and needed help getting the large limb off of my patio. Based on my past experience, Dawson was my first call since I had used them before. I called and spoke with a woman who told me someone would be out that day (7/7/17) to make an estimate. Sadly... no one came. So I went with the company that left an estimate yesterday and was able to fit me in today.

Just like my previous experience with Dawsons everything went well.

Dawson's did absolutely top notch work. I got a few bids for this project and they weren't the cheapest, but they seemed the most thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. The communication was clear and the work was excellent.
