Carl is very easy to work with. He is very attentive. He did an excellent job. He came back several times to get all the skunks. He was very diligent.

carls wildlife came out analized our problem and took steps to remove the wild animals from my property. He did a excellent job.

Played phone tag for a while, before arranging for him to come out. He is not very responsive on answering his voicemails. Have always had to leave messages. He comes real early in the morning since he has an overnight job. Haven't been billed yet, since after he caught several skunks and found some more skunks moving into the holes occupied by other skunks.He went away fir the kast week to a conference and left us with the skunks.

We came home on Thursday, April 21, 2011 (Easter weekend!) to find a gaping hole in the ceiling of our enclosed back porch, and we could tell it had been done by an animal, but not how it got in or what kind of beast it was. It was obvious that it had managed to crawl back up the curtains and into the hole again, and was nowhere to be found. It was about 8:30 p.m., but most of the places I found on Angie's List claimed 24 hour service, so I started calling. Carl was actually the fourth or fifth one I called, but the first who was able to come out the very next morning, instead of waiting until Monday. He confirmed by looking at the footprints on the curtains that it was a raccoon, and suggested that it was probably a female making a nest. We couldn't find the entry point right away, and he was leaving that afternoon for a funeral out of state, so he baited a trap inside the porch and promised to come back on Monday (or sooner, if we caught something and gave him a call). He said it was $75 to set the traps, and would then be another $75 per animal he hauled off. But he also said that raccoons are very territorial, and she would probably be operating alone and chasing off anything trying to encroach upon her nest. He was back Monday morning, and his search found the entry point as a hole she had made by the gutter of the FRONT porch (which meant that she was traversing the entire width of my attic -- the remediation for this incident is a whole other Angie's List evaluation). I was at work, but he said he set an additional trap at the base of the tree he suspected she was climbing to access the roof. I had read some horror stories and thought to ask him, and quot;Well, what if we catch something outside that isn't a raccoon? Am I charged if we catch a possum or something?and quot; And his answer was, no, we knew from the tracks inside the porch we were after raccoons, and if we caught anything else we wouldn't worry about it. I was pretty surprised to come home and find that trap by a tree in the BACK yard, but the very next night we had her! When he picked her up Wednesday morning, he boarded up the hole in the gutter and reset the outside trap (in case she wasn't working alone), and said she looked approximately two years old and was probably still pregnant, as and quot;her nipples weren't worked over yet from nursing.and quot; On that one point he was mistaken -- ultimately, there were three babies in the ceiling of our porch. We found one screaming its poor head off ON the back porch that Friday night, which had apparently dropped through the hole still in the tiles. Carl came right away to get it -- after 9:00 p.m., and at no charge -- and said it looked to be about two weeks old. (After that, we could still HEAR babies calling for Momma for over a week before they finally died, but we didn't find them until the remediation guys tore the ceiling out -- they kept themselves too well hidden, which was nobodies fault. The poor things were TOO well behaved...) Carl was fantastic. He was competent in his work, and compassionate in his attitude. The trap he set outside was and quot;hiddenand quot; inside a garbage can, which he did only because it was very rainy that week, and so when she was trapped at least she had shelter from the downpour. Mom was released into a forest preserve far from my house, and the baby he brought to a wildlife rehabilitation center in the area. I felt like his prices were reasonable to begin with, and in addition to not charging me to come back for the baby, we got a discount and quot;for having a VFW in the family.and quot; Overall, my entire experience was positive. I was never unsure of anything, and even though we talked about the fact that he was going out on a lot of calls lately (it being the end of a long spring and all), I felt treated as if I was his only customer.

It took a long time to catch the animal. Not sure he was entirely truthful about things, but I can't be certain.

Carl came over on a weekend gave a great price and told me that it included the removal of as many squirrels I thought were necessary. He came over on his own every so often to collect the ones captured. Later on he put some traps on the gutters . He has also a friend who does repair work at competitive prices (I ended up not using him because I did more work but he was really reasonable). The only detail I was surprised by, was the fact I told him one day that he had accomplished the work and he did not come to pick up all of the traps (he got the check though). So when workers came to repair the damage they found the cages and were almost trashed.

I called Carl late morning and he completed the pickup by 2:30, all at a fair price.

Carl came out and placed two separate traps for pesky ground hogs. First one was caught within 48 hours, rather large size. Second one was caught 7 days later. Traps gone, Ground Hogs gone, my dog is now at peace, (unitl the squirrels show up).

Carl came out and set SEVERAL traps to catch some skunks. He was up front about the setting cost and the per skunk removal. When the traps weren't productive after a couple days, he came back and reset them. He also closed up the hole, for a fee, which was discussed ahead of time. I haven't had a problem since.

We had a family of squirrels in our attic. On the day I realized it, I called Carl who immediately came over to set up traps. He checked in with me each day to see if an animal was caught, set up fresh bait, and within 5 days we had secured the entire group/family. Carl was able to locate the entry access and while he could not fix it, he referred me to a contractor who could. The contractor is not able to make the repairs to our attic until the end of this month and Carl was happy to leave the traps as a precautionary measure until the repairs could be completed. Carl is very professional and I appreciated him addressing the problem on the day I called and extending the courtesy of keeping the traps in place until we can fix the problem. He charged a reasonable price and I would highly recommend him to any body.

Carl responded immediately. He was in the area and was at first planning to come by and remove what turned out to be a bird from the vent and return the next day to fix the screening (since he didn't have his ladder with him), but after he handled the bird, he took care of the nesting and screening using our ladder. He was very helpful and professional. I would definitely call him again if needed.

I called Carl and told him that I had racoons/opossums in the roof over my front porch and asked him to give me an estimate for trapping and removing him. When I told him where I lived, he told me that the Village provided rodent control as a service of the Village. He could have charged me and I would have never known. He was very responsibe (out the same day) and came by every day for about four days. Then we stopped catching racoons and opossums. He left the trap in place a few more days and with no further catches he removed it. A day after that, we found a dead racoon under the porch and Carl removed it at no charge for me. (The Village doesn't cover dead animals.) Carl knows his business and I highly recommend him.

We had squirrels in the attic in the past and set traps ourselves to get rid of them. On this Saturday, I heard a strange noise in the basement. When I went down to check I found a squirrel who had apparently come down through the wall from the attic and then stepped on one of those sticky mouse traps. I managed to get a crate over him (sheer good luck) and weighted it down. We couldn't figure out how to get it out after that. I called 12 places from the phone book and didn't even get answers until I reached Carl. He was able to get to our home that day and removed the squirrel. I was very impressed that he responded to my call so quickly (on a Saturday) and actually came out and took care of the problem so quickly. None of the others I called responded until Monday. He also checked outside with us and gave us advice on how to keep more squirrels out.I highly recommend Carl for any animal removal problem.

It took an unusual amount of time to get them out because he had fallen from another roof and afraid of going up into the attic. We asked that he come back because we heard more noise up there but he didn't come back.

Carl was great. He was very polite and knew what he was doing. He was thorough in setting up the traps, 4 in all. He came every morning and checked on the traps, whether we caught anything or not. Was very prompt whenever I called him and was very easy to work with. The process took longer than I expected but ended up catching 7 raccoons and 1 possum. He only charged me for the 5 I originally contracted him for. Very fair on his part. That generosity goes a long way!

Great! Set three traps. All three had residents in the morning. Had to come back three times.

He was good and knew what he was doing. He knew the habits of the animals. The guy even explained to me what happens when the female has the babies. The male will come back and try to kill and eat the kids. We had all the racket one night and he said that is what was going on, the day he came in though they were quiet. He set a trap and they didn't get in it. The next time he came out he said that they were no longer there. Needless to say he fix the hole and that was that. He was very cheap.

Carl was so very supportive from day one. We were really upset when the racket started on Friday morning at 2:30AM and continued until 6:00AM. He carefully explained what he felt was happening and then came to check out the attic within a few hours. He educated me on the habits of raccoons and explained how the actions he was taking would either trap them or cause them to leave. He had a sense of humor that helped me calm down which really helped. I recommend Carl and his company very highly both in professionalism and in his solving of our problem. Part of the cost included removing a televison antena from our attic so the amount spent on the actual problem was somewhat lower.

After another company failed to properly perform the necessary work, we found Carl's Wildlife Removal. Because of the noxious odor, he went out of his way to come out on the Saturday that we called him, squeezing us into his work schedule. He found and removed the dead animals and charged far less than the company that failed to perform. He gave us good advice for the future and was honest and a pleasure to deal with.
