The work was contracted in 12/2013 and completed in 7/2014 and paid in full. Once the systems were in use, there were many issues with the systems during the summer of 2014, some caused by leaks in the lines installed by Benjamin Mechanical, others caused by Benjamin Mechanical's refusal to provide manuals and usage instructions which had been supplied to him by the manufacturer. Benjamin Mechanical repaired these leaks. In October of 2014, one system became inoperable and showed an Error code which indicated leaks in the system. Benjamin Mechanical was unable to isolate and repair the leak in 2 visits and determined that the leak was in 3rd floor outside wall lines which they had installed. BM presented a plan to check all outside joins and repair when necessary for all systems at once. Since October of 2014 we have been waiting for this to happen. Now 3 of the 4 systems are down because of leaks. In April of 2015, BM stopped responding to all requests for help with their work. I hired another AC contractor. Their quote to do the work deemed necessary by BM and confirmed through their own inspections is for $15,093.
