AMF Brothers Granite Countertops

Worse install that was rushed and no consideration for a persons home causing damage. Faucet hole drilled incorrect so now faucet moves, counter not even glued down so can lift it right up. Numerous calls and not one return call yet. Don't waste your money here so you don't get a bad install and left with numerous issues and not even a return call back from manager for 2 days now. Should I have to keep calling to get ahold of someone to correct my issues. Once they take your money the customer service out the window when you have a problem caused by their installers.

One of the worst customer experiences and waste of money we have ever had. We have lots of friends, family and kids over so we needed something that doesn’t stain. AMF recommended our countertops to us and we have had nothing but issues since installation. They do not respond when contacted, they have yet to offer a resolution, and our countertops are stained in many places and we have had them for less than 6 months. We notified them of the staining almost immediately and they said to use BarKeepers Friend and it will easily disappear. Now on our 8th bottle and still have staining and continued no response. Stay as far away from them as you possibly can. For the price you pay, you’d expect much more. See photos for staining circles (harder to capture in a picture) but these are just a few of many.

This company pulled what I consider a “BAIT AND SWITCH” on us. We heard about this company through a friend who claimed that they had very good prices. We were remodeling our kitchen and were working with a small designer who referred us to MSI to choose our granite, so we already knew what we wanted. The design shop closed suddenly and we had to start over with someone else for our cabinets, so after we got that done, we went to AMF Bros to discuss our countertop. We walked in and met with Cesar. We explained that we had already chosen the granite we wanted from MSI. Their store did not carry the granite we selected and he assured us they worked with MSI. We had our cabinet blueprints with us for the measurements in order for them to give us the closest quote possible before their formal measurement. While we were sitting there, Cesar called MSI for their prices. After a bit, he provided us a drawing and a quote. We liked the quote and were told we had a couple of weeks to send a check for half down to secure the quote, which we did by check. We told them we expected our cabinets to come in approximately 8 weeks from the date of the quote, and we would call when they were installed to arrange for a formal measure. At least 3 times, we were receiving texts asking us if they could come measure for the job while we were still waiting for our cabinets and I had to call them and tell them we were not ready. The text did not even say, “This is AMF Bros,” just a random text which read “can we come measure for your job today?” Did they not make notes when we spoke with them??? When our cabinets arrived, I called them and let them know it would be a couple more weeks and we would be ready for measure. When all was installed and measure scheduled, we went back to MSI to secure our slabs. I then called AMF and let them know MSI was holding two slabs for our job, which they acknowledged. After the measure, the gentlemen gave my husband a document to sign. It was basically identical to the original quote. Unfortunately, he did not have his glasses on and thought he signed approval to start the job, but the price on the paper he signed was $1466 more than our original quote! Nothing at all was said regarding the change in the price by the measurer. There was no breakdown of any kind on the details of the quote. Then I received another email when the laser measure was completed with another amount which was $1751 more than our original quote. BTW, we knew there could be a slight variation in the price after the formal measure. I called AMF about 1:30 pm for and explanation and the phone was answered by a sweet woman, but she put me on hold to speak with Kayla I believe because she could explain the discrepency to me. Then she came back and said Kayla was unavailable and would call me back. Two hours later I called back since I did not receive a return call, and they said their system was down and they could not get into my file. In the meantime, I had formulated an email with my questions and copies of all relevant paperwork. We they finally called me back the next day, I asked them to review my email and call me back. The call back went as follows. “Your husband signed a contract. The original price we gave you was for our in stock granite and you chose an outside vendor. If you had chosen one of our slabs, installation and fabrication would have been included.” When I questioned the email with the $1751 additional, I was told we can “disregard that email, the cost would be the one my husband signed. I had to request a breakdown of the details for labor, etc. We had made it very clear that we chose an outside company when we walked into AMF as stated above. We were not in any way informed of this at our first visit there. The name of the granite selection (Snow Fall) was described in the quote from day one. Sadly, since my husband unwittingly signed the “contract,” and since we put 2000 down by check months before, and since we were 12 weeks into the job and needed countertops, we decided it would be too stressful to try to dispute the down payment and start over, so we went ahead. The one star can be applied to the installation of the countertops, which was fine. I will do whatever I can to review this company on as many sites as possible. I would highly recommend you you be very, very careful if you choose this company for your countertop needs.

This was my 2nd time using AMF Brothers and it will be my last. The quality of their quartz is good, but the service is terrible. I purchased the stone piece and it took 3 weeks to have someone come and measure and an additional 10 days after measurement to get installed. They installed the wrong stone (white instead of brown that I picked). They apologized for the error and told me it was going to be another week to be installed.After finally speaking to the manager, they found the correct piece and got it installed 2 days later. There are other companies with quality products and higher level of customer service.

The whole process of getting an estimate, picking a material, scheduling, and install was great! They have good prices and did not charge me extra for the "second slab" other companies wanted me to pay for. I paid by sq ft not how many slabs the job would take. This company was very responsive to all my emails and questions. The only small issue I had was that the installers left a bunch of sawdust all over my floor as well as scuff marks from moving my stove. I just had my floors refinished as I am doing a full remodel, so I was not happy to see that. Luckily the scuffs came out with a mop and a little elbow grease or I would have been calling them about it. If you check the pics, ignore the orange cabinets. Those are getting refinished next.

We purchased beautiful granite from AMF. There were some issues with the installation. AMF attempted to resolve these issues. Understand that the granite you buy may not be sealed well. I would recommend buying a quality sealant and applying it yourself after the install. You should insist that all of the glue is removed before doing so. If you plan to have an overhang that is 12” or larger, be sure to install metal brackets for support prior to the installation. AMF will not install brackets for you. Also, run your hand across all of the edges to find any minor chips or cracks that need repair before the installers leave your residence. Check your dish washer to be sure that it is aligned evenly before the granite is glued on top of it. Lessons that you live and learn.

I had been shopping around for a while and was so pleased when I found an affordable option for Quartz countertops. I recommend seeing the options in person as we did for color selection. Everything from quoting to measurement verification to install was excellent. I am so glad the serviced my area in Wi as well! Looks beautiful. Great job!

I ordered three countertops for a three-unit apartment building I am rehabbing. The installation time was changed from 8-10am to 12-2pm which was fine because my workers were going to be there all day. But I certainly can't wait around for them to show up. The counters were installed with no problem but then the office called me for payment, which I thought could be mailed to them or paid online via ACH transfer. I prefer not to use a personal credit card for a business expense so I checked their website for some sort of payment button. While I was looking at their site, my phone rang and I had to take an important call for about 5-10 minutes. During this time AMF office blew up my phone with several missed calls. When I called them back (maybe 10 minutes later) I was told I needed to give them my credit card numbers over the phone (never a safe option) or they would rip out the counters and have to return another day. They lost perhaps 16 to 20 future kitchen counter orders from me per year when they so quickly resorted to threatening me. Is it really so hard to put a payment icon on your website these days? I'll look elsewhere for my next orders.

Our countertops were installed with some "pitting" that wasn't noticeable in the beginning but became noticeable as time went on and stuff settled into it. I was undecided at the time if it was worth calling them to see if it could be fixed and then eventually decided I wanted them to do something about it since there is a warranty with the countertops. They sent someone out to "fix" it and the small area of pitting, which was about 1"x3" in diameter was now 8"x8" in diameter of discoloration because of the harsh chemicals they used and abrasive pads. So, now it looks much worse and I feel they wrecked that portion of our countertop which is on the island. After calling countless times about this over the course of 6 months, all I get is the run a round. The people in the office are useless and worthless. Management is non-existent. Communication is terrible. This is absolutely unacceptable. Any reputable company would care about resolving this and they just don't respond. I will never, ever recommend this company and I plan on contacting the Better Business Bureau. To be fair, the rest of our countertops turned out fine.

You get what you pay for. Our counter in the end seems fine, but customer service is horrible and they damaged my new cabinets and sink and did nothing about it. They were rude throughout the process except at the end when they kept saying there is nothing they can do to help. The guy who came and measured used small nails to nail in the template, one was too close to the edge and cracked the side wall. Then when the installers came they did not cover the new sink. When they were drilling holes for the faucet they broke a tool into our sink leaving 2 gouges. After many attempts and pictures to get a small refund to cover expenses for fixing AMF refused to help saying we didn't report it at the time of work. We I guess made the mistake of assuming this is something you raise with the office not the contracted installers.

From start to finish was an excellent experience. The sales people are very knowledgeable, professional, and responsive. As well, their prices can't be beat. From the time of the initial deposit, we were placed onto their installation schedule. They kept the exact date, which made scheduling a plumber and preparation time very easy. They arrived on schedule with a well-equipped van full of everything they need to install a perfect job. The crew was polite, friendly, and very skilled at installing countertops. the installation is as close to perfect as it can get! I highly recommend AMF Brothers!

From the moment I went to AMF brothers the young ladies that approached me was very courteous. I brought some tile that I wanted to use to find a countertop. She asked me a few questions and then took me to see the granite slabs. I had been to a few other places but I was really pleased with AMF. I asked a few questions and she was able to answer them. The price was affordable. I put my order in and was given a date for measurements. And the date of when the countertops would be delivered. They contacted me by email and phone. Kept me up to date on when the staff would come to measure and then they let me know when the installer would come.. They were on time, courteous and answered questions I had. I love the workmanship. I had a very positive experience dealing with AMF Brothers Granite Quartz Countertops & Cabinets. We finished out basement and needed countertops for the bar area as well as a bathroom. I chose a quartz which was very reasonably priced. The company was great in communicating when they would be there for measuring and installation and all the people I dealt with were very polite and professional.

From the beginning it was a very pleasant and seamless project. We told AMF what we wanted in what price range and they did everything they could to accommodate. We paid half of what we were qouted elsewhere and received top notch installation and customer service. We will definitely go back and have already recommended them to others.

The entire crew did a great job. Andrew provided a timely proposal, which was very cost competitive. He answered all questions promptly. The measuring crew and installation team arrived when they were supposed to and accommodated our working schedules. The installation went without a hitch and the we could not have been more please with the final product.

AMF did a wonderful job helping us pick out our granite and sinks for our guest bathroom. The installation process was super fast and we are very pleased with how it turned out. We will use AMF granite again! Thanks for such great service.

I was really satisfied from everything what provide AMF Brother form price, quality and time. Everything was done in two weeks from day when I called Andrew first time to installation day. Andrew offer me really good price and guys who come to my house to install did really good job. I would recommend this company to everybody.

We purchased our first home through rehab program and so we needed our repair cost to be as low as possible but with good quality. We came across these guys and I have to say that we were very lucky. Not only they had vast verity of products with great quality but they managed to squeeze us into their busy schedule. They gave us helpful advices and guided through whole process. They were professional and ready to answer all of our questions. We had our kitchen done in Golden Beach which perfectly matches our dark brown cabinets. We also had our 2 bathrooms done in Bianco Romano. We couldn?t be happier with this purchase. I?m glad I choose these guys. I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends.

AMF Brothers provided a great price and quality installation. Andrew never made you feel like a stranger accepted all your phone calls when you had any type question. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

This was more difficult than it needed to be for the project. Andrew put a seam right in the middle of the kitchen sink, this area is heavily used and the seam is opening up and getting dirty. The installers had to return to level out the fireplace hearth which was out by and inch. The time frame for installation kept moving, blaming it on increasing work load.

We are very happy with our beautiful new kitchen counters, backsplash and sink. We now have a totally modern look, that compliments our cabinets and appliances. The installation took less than five hours, with very little mess and disruption. Visitors have given us lots of complements about how great everything looks. We would highly recommend AMF Brothers!
