Tim was on time, fast and helpful. He is friendly and gives good advice. He did what was needed and did it well.

Tim did an amazing job transforming my dark, outdated, 1970's home into a bright, beautiful place I can enjoy. During the process he explained exactly what he would be doing. He made great suggestions since I was unsure what to do with my place. And he cleaned any mess before he left for the day. Tim does all the work by himself and takes pride in the excellent job he does. His schedule gets booked, but he is worth the wait. In my bedroom he removed old wallpaper and painted the walls, ceiling and door and replaced the closet door. Beautiful! In the living room/dining room, Tim removed a short partition wall with old colonial type spindles that divided the two rooms. Incredible how that opened up the area!! He then painted both rooms, which included a paneled wall that ran the length of both rooms, in a light gray with white trim. I was nervous about having the paneling painted, but now so happy that I did. What a big difference! It really made the whole space seem so much larger and bright. I was having new carpet installed afterward, and Tim suggested putting laminate floor by the front door entryway. He does that too! Another beautiful change made! I'm so happy all this was done just before the stay-at-home order went into effect so I could enjoy and appreciate the work that Tim had done. It is like a new house! Absolutely beautiful!! very good , huge cracks in ceiling are gone , new soffit and replacing of the kitchen cabinet and removel of wallpaper !! he did a remarkable job , very pleasant and tidy ! allways cleaned up when finished for the day and upon returning in the morning would bring my two dogs treats ! have more jobs lined up , thanks tim !

Earlier this year we had the kitchen, dining, living and laundry rooms done. Called TNT back to do the rest of the home, 3 bedrooms, hall and bathrooms. Need to have some painting done in your home? Want someone honest, hard working, reliable and takes pride in their profession? Then we highly recommend TNT Dynamite Decorators. We are extremely please with Tim Touhey and his detail to his work.

Tim was responsive from the get-go. He came on time for the estimate, and actually reassured me that most of the deck was in good condition. I had thought it would need a lot of boards replaced, but only a couple. The weather delayed the job, but Tim kept me in the loop. On the appointed day, he showed up on time, only to find out the paint store gave him the wrong paint. So we rescheduled the next day. The deck looks great. Tim was prompt, diligent, professional, and courteous.

Everything was done professionally. Tim is easy to work with and is always considerate of the home and customer needs.

Excellent. Tim showed up when promised and continued to work until the job was done. He was able to match the ceiling and wall paint so he could blend in the repair rather than paint the entire ceiling and walls. We are very satisfied.

We are happy to comment on what a great job Tim did in our home recently. Tim did amazing work on our kitchen ceiling removing the old built in light fixture, repairing the drywall and painting an absolute match to the existing area. The quality of workmanship was excellent. Tim took the time and effort to make sure everything was done right and left the area very clean both during the project and after completion. We highly recommend Tim and will certainly have him work on other home projects for us in the future !

I have hired Tim twice now for painting jobs and I am very happy with his work. I had some questions about future jobs and he was more than happy to take time and listen to my concerns. Tim is simply the best! He arrives on time, works hard, cleans up after himself and his work is without parallel. His prices are extremely reasonable. He works quickly and efficiently, but not at the expense of quality. He also fixed some things we did not even know were broken--towel bar in a bathroom and the door handle on my front door--without me even asking! He has a great eye for color and what colors work well in a room. Previously, he power washed and stained our deck and repainted and replaced all the wood on the outside of our house. He is always cheerful and positive about any issues that arise during the work. I would recommend Tim to anyone. I promise you will not be disappointed. There simply is no one better.

Excellent job as expected. We have used Tim of TNT several times before and wouldn't think of using any other painter. He is meticulous in preparation of the walls and in protection of items in the room. He is a true "artist" in the job he does. Some tradesmen do their job, but Tim sees what he does as his "craft" and is extremely talented in his craft. Other painters we have used previously had to have us point out missed spots, poorly covered areas and seemed disgusted to have to make any corrections. Tim is such a perfectionist that HE finds anything that isn't perfect and makes a correction long before we can see it. Tim is also such a friendly and genuinely nice man that it is a pleasure to deal with him and have him in your home. I have chemical sensitivities which require me to only be able to use No VOC paints. Tim is always very careful to make sure no product or process he is using might make me sick. He airs out the rooms constantly so that any chemical odors will be dissipated for us. We would recommend Tim of TNT Dynamite Decorating without any reservations.

We have been doing a lot of remodeling in our house and this is the third time that I had Tim paint and as usual my experience with Tim was awesome and everything looks perfect! Tim is such a great guy who goes above and beyond and you can see that in his work. I highly recommend him and look forward to having him back soon!

Fantastic! The door was brought to a new life.... Tim is a perfectionist and never disappoints me. He does all of our painting projects, big and small. Timing is so hard, with our Chicago weather, but Tim always does his best to make it happen asap. It is well worth waiting for him to do the job!!

He is always very conscientious about fitting us into his very busy schedule. We remain flexible and he was able to get us taken care of in short order, even with such a piddly little job. He is delightful as a person to deal with. We work around each others lives to get the work done, and we are always truly amazed at his skill level. This was a nothing job he did better than expected on, but some of the other jobs were a true challenge that he completely blew us away with how well they came out. Can't say enough good. A true delight to deal with and very reasonable pricing. The hardest part is he is so good that he is busy so it helps if you can be a bit flexible, he has done plenty of work on our homes without us there with no problem at all. Clean, neat, fast, personable, and excellent results!!!

I was impressed with Tim of TNT after reading the various reviews in Angie's List. This compelled me to call Tim to recruit him to do some interior painting for me. However, due to scheduling conflicts; Tim was unable to help me with this painting job. I did inquire about his other listed job preferences; ie. power washing..and called Tim to see if he could schedule during a bad weather day. He called me a day later to set up this appointment. To say the least, I was impressed with Tim immediately; by the way he carried himself, his positive attitude and the efficient, detailed way he worked; and he left the area cleaner than when he found it. Look forward to working with Tim anytime I can! Definitely ...FIVE STARS!!

I don't even know where to start - Tim is amazing!! I am so happy I found him on Angie's list. Tim goes above & beyond & it shows in his work. I had some bad experiences with contractors in the past with being messy . not showing up on time & trying to cut corners. Not Tim - my house was cleaner after he left then when he got there! My rooms (entryway/mudroom & bedroom) looked so good when he was done, that I already booked him to come back & finish the whole house & I can't wait! I highly recommend him!
