Fantastic job. Everything you want in a contractor: fast communication, quality, efficient work. Their prices were on par with the job, and there was a bit of a challenge with how my garage was set up, but they handled it without a problem. Very happy with the work and I would hire them again.

It went well, considering the rain-filled Fall weather (we delayed one week), and TMW was able to complete before the cold weather set in. The garden area South end of patio was torn up quite a bit, but that is how it goes as to wheel in the concrete. Concrete splattered on garage siding, so I needed to scrub-down siding to remove splash. (Some plastic sheeting tacked-up before the pour & trowel might have prevented this other work) .

I am very satisfied with the work that Tyrone and his crew have done for my driveway and walk-way. Tyrone even took the time to help out getting the permit and talk to the village clerks about the details on the work to be done.

Tyrone and his crew were courteous, on time, worked hard, and cleaned up afterwards. Tyrone took a lot of time explaining in detail everything he recommended doing when he came out to quote the job. I felt that he was trustworthy and honest with great communication and quick response time whenever I had a question. I couldn't be happier with the end result - it looks even better than I had imagined. He also did work at my next door neighbors home, and it looks wonderful too!

He was very responsive. Came out almost immediately and gave us a quote. He actually listened to what I was asking for. I think he would have done a good job but we ended up doing something else with the drive way, so we didn't hire him. But, his professionalism, I think I noticed that was different with him compared to the other providers was that he actually listened to what I was asking for instead of doing whatever everyone else does. He envisioned it in our driveway. All of the prices were in the same range, and I think it was about $10,000 for all the work. Since it was consistent with everyone else I would give him an A. He was not trying to gouge us and it was in the market. He should get an A+ because he was the one person who listened and envisioned what I wanted rather than building out something that was pretty standard. He did have to reschedule once but I understood why and he let me know why he had to reschedule. I would use them in the future.

The quote was very neat and filled out correctly. A quote is a quote. They had a great track record on Angie's List. I would probably use them again for a quote. We just ended up going with someone else.

Everything went better than expected. Tyrone kept his appointment for the estimate, gave us a very fair price on the work that needed to be done, and went above and beyond my expectations to make sure the work was done in the timeframe that I needed it to be completed in.

Tryone and his crew were quick, efficient, and did excellent work. Ours was a relatively small job compared to some of his other work, but he fit us in before the season was over. We are thrilled with our new front stoop and walkway. Thanks!

We absolutely loved working with Tyron. He was very prompt in giving us quotes, reasonable in his pricing, and always responded back to us within 24 hours. He spent time coming to the property and explaining how things will be done. He also helped us allocate some of the wires that were "hidden" in the old driveway, and how to fix/reroute them.

Black Pearl came out and gave us a written estimate which was significantly under the other two estimates we had done. They were on time, did exactly what they were there to do, were polite and now Im having them sealcoat my mom's driveway..A+

Not too well. He did show up on time but seemed to verbally give us a number that was quite high and he never followed up with any type of official written quote.

Exceptional from start to finish. Tyrone is very organized and detail oriented. Booking a meeting is straightforward and he's punctual. Communication throughout is excellent, and he keeps good notes of all conversations through his online system. When it came to the work there were no surprises. The crew was there when they said they would be, and did what they said on each - leaving our front garden clean and tidy at the end of each day. Throughout the process Tyrone provided us with examples and ideas to help shape our decision making; he clearly cares as much about the quality of the finished job as we do. At one point he drove us to a nearby house to see first hand an example of the color we were considering. The quality of the finished job is beyond expectations. The entire crew obviously approached the work with pride and a sense of ownership, and it shows. The path and steps were stamped with care, creating a realistic and appealing stone texture. Our driveway was carefully laid out with both broom finished window-panes and a stamped border. Joints are straight, clean and crisp. The team has a critical eye for their own work, and worked throughout the process to see that every detail was just right.

We are very happy with the work that TMW Enterprises Paving & Maintenance and Tyrone did for us. The driveway, sidewalk, stoop and patio all look fantastic. TMW Enterprises Paving & Maintenance removed our old asphalt driveway, our deck, multiple stoops and the sidewalk and replace all of them with concrete which was a welcome and much needed upgrade. Tyrone and his crew were very responsive and always let us know what was happening. He shared his Google calendar so we knew just by checking the calendar when our work would start. Once the work started we communicated with Tyrone and his crew via group texting which worked great for us. If you need concrete work done we highly recommend TMW Enterprises Paving & Maintenance.

I was looking for a contractor that would work with me on my patio/gazebo project. Many other contractors wanted to basically do everything for me. While I could tell Tyrone was more than capable of taking the entire design over, I appreciated his willingness to work and plan with me. The theme for the days that the work actually happed could be summed up with “whatever you want.” The crew was very flexible in making changes as we worked the design into reality. Their pride in their work was very evident as I witnessed them measuring, checking, leveling, re-measuring, re-checking, re-leveling countless times. Some aspects of my project called for tight precision and they didn’t try to rush through it; they basically worked with the same or greater ethic than I would have if I were capable of doing the concrete work myself. Final results are outstanding and I could not be happier. I didn’t catch all their names but a special call out to Kevin and Junior for their above and beyond customer service.

TMW's bid was not only the most attractive financially, but my initial meeting with Tyrone was the most personable of the bids. Before taking any measurements, Tyrone took the time to understand why I was moving forward with the project. He shared his expertise in draining the water away from the foundation of my home including proper grading and drain tiles. I told him I was also putting a waterproofing project out for bid. He voluntarily took it upon himself to coordinate scheduling activities with the eventual waterproofing contracting when the time came. Sure enough, we decided to move forward with Tyrone and TMW. I signed a contract in late 2015 that locked me in for 2015 prices with work to begin once the weather cleared up in Spring 2016. Scheduling As the weather eventually started getting warmer, Tyrone sent me a tentative start date 2-3 weeks in advance. He also contacted the waterproofing company to ensure they would have availability to do their work after excavation but before pouring was done. There was only a 1-day window between the two but thanks to Tyrone and his scheduling and coordination, there was no delay in the entire project. Tyrone told me he would be on-site the first day of work and would introduce me to his crew leaders. Throughout the process, Tyrone was organized contacting me via email and also with a Google Calendar and another site he uses for tracking communications and invoices/payment. On-Site The first day?on-site, Tyrone arrived promptly at 7am and introduced me to Junior and eventually to Tyrone's brother, Kevin. We did another walk-through of the project to ensure all questions and concerns were met. For the next 1.5 weeks, the crew arrived promptly at 7am and were gone by the time I returned from work. Each day, they cleaned up the area as much as possible and placed yellow ribbons to block areas that should not be entered.? Clean-Up The final product was a clean, uniform driveway and service-walk and the removal of an old stoop. Kevin came a few days later to?pick-up the final payment and replaced some siding on the garage that was missed during clean-up. I noticed there was a large area that was not backfilled but I contacted Tyrone and he had his crew come back and backfill it a week later.? Conclusion If you're looking to get your hardscaping or concrete done, go with Tyrone, Kevin, and Junior. Their bid was competitive, their service was professional, and the final product looks beautiful.?

Tyrone was awesome from the very beginning of the process. He walked me through exactly what he was going to do and why it was going to be done that way. He was in contact on a near constant basis for scheduling purposes and throughout the job. He provided progress pictures via text message as the job progressed. He made sure to clean up as much as they could when the job was done and backfilled areas where dirt was needed as well. Our concrete looks amazing and would definitely recommend his company to anyone looking for concrete.

Our house was built in the 1950's with an attached garage. TMW removed the stair and old garage floor. TMW did great job replacing the garage floor in an older home with all the settling and "unsquare" angles. They worked hard to make the new garage floor meet our paving brick driveway. Very polite, professional and timely. Plus, they left a spotless worksite! Except for the nice looking garage floor, you can't tell that any work was done. Overall, a very good job.

Tyrone and his crew did a great job. He provided great communication regarding the job so we always knew the status. His crew was also very professional and cleaned up everything. The driveway looks great. I would definitely use him for any future concrete work.

Tyrone is wonderful to work with on any concrete job. He really knows his stuff, and has excellent relationships with suppliers, which helps him get the job done on time and without any problems. His crew is excellent. They're on time, professional, and clean up after themselves everyday. If we had any issues or questions, Tyrone or Luis (the unilock seat wall installer) rushed to resolve them ASAP. We've worked with TMW twice on two big projects ($5K driveway and $12 patio). Tyrone is such an expert and his estimates were dead on both times we worked with him. He can visualize the project in it's entirety, and make it happen.
