They were really good. I would recommend them to other people. They did a good job. They were competitively priced. They did really good work. They cleaned up. They were very easy to deal with. They were really nice and prompt. Overall it was a good experience.

They did a very good and quick job. So far, not even a crack all winter in the pavement.

I selected TMW based upon the recommendation of Angie's List customers. I have not been disappointed. Tyrone was prompt in evaluating the job (concrete driveway and sculptured concrete stoop), pricing (which compared favorably with other estimates I had gotten), and scheduling the work. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and we agreed to reschedule the work in May of 2013 at the same price. Tyrone was prompt in returning my deposit. My experience with Tyrone was very positive (with the exception of factors beyond our control) and I look forward to working with him later this year.

Our 1955 brick ranch house has original front steps & sidewalk. One step was cracked & had crumbling concrete around iron post supporting railing. Called three vendors. Tyrone Ward from T.M.W. Enterprises responded quickly. Came out promptly, surveyed the site, seemed quite knowledgeable & experienced. He gave what I consider a very reasonable estimate to patch the step & said work could be done the following week since temperatures were rising above freezing. We agreed upon a date and time. Tyrone arrived on time and completed work in two hours. He even took the extra time to grind the rust off the exposed iron post before pouring concrete thus extending it's useful life. The job was done professionally and site was cleaned up well. Will use again.

Tyrone and TMW were a pleasure to work with. From start to finish I really enjoyed the experience. My driveway was a combination of asphalt and concrete that was really falling apart. Tyrone and I came up with a new design that would completely replace the existing driveway and sidewalk coming up to the front door. Once all the permits and paperwork was completed TMW was there on a Monday to remove the old driveway. Removal was completed in one day. The next day the guys worked on the grading and also poured the new concrete steps to the side door which came out great. On the third day the concrete was poured. Day 4 was clean up and and misc stuff that needed to be addressed. Overall the project was completed in less than a week. One week after that we were driving our cars on it again. Everyday I come home and look at the driveway I say to myself, "thank you TMW for the awesome NEW driveway." My house looks like a completely different house. Great investment. Thanks Tyrone!

TMW was our second estimate. Tyrone, the owner came out right away and gave the area we needed repair a very thorough inspection. Tyrone is a very personable contractor, and has a lot of patience with the many questions we had for him. He took his time with the measurements, and his estimate was very reasonable for the work they ended up doing for us. Not only did they fix the garage threshold, but they also repaired the sidewalk on either side of the garage, which also lessened the drop off from the front door step. Our home looks so much better now that we had Tyrone and his crew do the job. Their work was excellent. Very detail oriented. The price was reasonable for the work they did. I would highly recommend TMW to anyone needing concrete work.

I was very pleased with the work that Tyrone did. When he came out to give me an estimate he was very knowledgeable and I was able to verify his statements on the internet. We originally were trying to get the work done in August but had to delay it several times because I was waiting for a remodeling project to be completed. We didn't get to start the concrete work until mid-October when it was already getting cold. I was concerned about the temperature, but Tyrone said it was not a problem. When the work was being done--demolition, framing, and pouring, Tyrone was on the site overseeing the work. It's his business and I appreciated that he is hands-on while the work is actually being done and doesn't leave it to someone else. We had a miscommunication about how a couple of areas were to be framed out and when I arrived home I saw that it was not how I wanted it--the concrete was to be poured the next day. I called Tyrone that evening and he said changing the framing the next morning would be no problem--he would try to delay the concrete delivery in the morning. The next morning his crew was there before the sun rose to make the changes because he couldn't delay the concrete delivery that was coming at 8 am. The new driveway, sidewalk, and porch look fabulous and my neighbors have been very complimentary. I would not hesitate to recommend or hire Tyrone again.

Tyrone Ward estimated the job promptly. His price was reasonable and he was knowledgeable. He sent a lot of time discussing the job with me. He explained all of my options. He then gave me estimates for all aspects of the job. The removal of materials was done in one day and went off without any problems even though I changed some things in the middle of the process. I asked Tyrone if he could build the retaining wall on the day his guys came to set the forms. All the dirt had already been removed. More dirt had to be removed to install the wall and the sidewalk had to be modified. All this was done and Tyrone's crew never missed a beat. Tyrone lined up a hard scape contractor who works with him to get the wall in after the concrete was poured. Everything was handled professionally. The day the concrete was poured, again, everything went smoothly. Tyrone's guys are really professional. The quality of the finish work is exceptional. I am absolutely thrilled with the outcome of the project and highly recommend Tyrone Ward and his crew.

They arrived promptly and were very efficient and fast. They were able to dig out old stoop and walkway without damaging adjacent trees and bushes. And the clean-up was great!

Tyrone and his crew are awesome. After reading some reviews about TMW I decided to give them a call for an estimate. I liked what I heard, the price was competitive, and most importantly, Tyrone came up with some really cool ideas about our project. Our garage floor had some serious cracks in it, and the asphalt driveway was disintegrating (every year we would lose major chunks). The whole process from the estimate, to the required permits, to the dig out, to the pour was super quick. With some good luck on the part of the inspection, Tyrone was able to pour a whole day ahead of schedule. The outcome is fantastic. We have a new garage floor, a super huge front porch, a new driveway, and a service walk to the side of the garage. It is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend Tyrone and his crew for their outstanding work. Tyrone himself is very personable, easy to talk to, and a pleasure to work with....he will be getting a phone call when we remove our old deck to put in a concrete patio sometime in the next year...

No problems-job performed as scheduled-workmanship and clean up were first class-pricing was competitive-contractor was always available by phone.

Tyrone did an excellent job. His project was part of a larger project that took 2 years to bring to fruition. He patiently stayed with us during the wait and even helped us get the final Village approval for our comprehensive landscaping project. The concrete looks great and we are enjoying our new patio area very much.

Went great. Tyrone worked with us on timing since we had to allow time for the drain at the bottom of the stairs to be fixed in between when he removed our stairs and returned to build forms and continue with the project. The workmen were very nice and cleaned up at the end of each day. If you have concrete refinished, cover anything (like patio furniture) close to where the work is going to be done because it's extremely dusty. I didn't realize that but it's easy enough to hose it down. Tyrone was also nice enough to haul away a chunk of concrete that we dug out from an old basketball pole. Tyrone was very responsive to my calls and emails. He was very clear about what he was going to do, when it would be done, and explained what impact weather might have on the work. I had no issues with communication while working with him.

Dont bother with this company. They NEVER respond, period. I emailed them 08/19/2012 at 9:09 am for a quote, never got a response back. Then on 08/21/2012 at 4:13 pm I left a voice mail message, never responded. They must be way too busy and making too much money to respond to my request to replace my driveway and front stoop.

Everything they did was reasonably priced and they did a good job. They had the best price than the 3-4 I searched.

Start to finish Tyrone, (the owner) was a pleasure to work with. His guys worked hard, and finished the job when he said they would, in over 100 deg heat. Tyrone himself even came out and took care of some detail finishing in the end. The price was fair and everyone went home happy. I gave Tyrone the job based on a detailed and precise description of how he was going to do the job. I am a pretty good judge of B.S. and there was none with him. He and his guys were friendly and know there stuff.Thanks

Workers were messy - Tyrone had to come back to do cleanup, after workers had been sent out to do cleanup. Leaves went into cement & Tyrone picked them out several days after pour & now we have holes. Worker was out w/power washer & did some more damage to concrete. Hairline crack in patio less than a week after pour. Was told to wait til this spring to see what happens over the winter, but it was a warm winter so expecting crack to shorten life of patio.

Tyrone came to our house sometime in mid-April 2012 to give us an estimate on a full tear down of our existing concrete patio and several brick structures, to be replaced by a stamped colored concrete patio, small courtyard, and walkway to the front of the house. Our yard is slanted towards the house, so the project would also have to include a lot of work to drain the water away from the house properly and possibly some soil regrading. Tyrone was very knowledgeable, his years of experience clearly showed through. I was very pleased to find a contractor that really knew what he was doing and I felt I could fully trust in his workmanship. However, at our initial meeting Tyrone explained that he would need to come back another day to do a full measure of grades, angles, square feet, etc. before being able to give me an estimate. He gave a week and half time frame that he would come back and do this in. After two weeks went by without hearing from him, I called Tyrone and he said he had not come back to our house at all. He apologized, stating that he had been really busy, but would certainly come by in the next week to give us an estimate.I never heard from him again. The poor customer service really left a bad impression. If a company is to busy to accept new customers or the job was to complicated, a simple phone call to tell me that would have been appropriate. The company must be doing so well they don't need my business, or the business of anyone I might have recommended them to. I would still call Tyrone in the future just because he was so knowledgeable, but I have to say that if I found another contractor that I felt would give me the same quality of workmanship, I'll choose the other company.

Prompt response to our request for an estimate. We got three estimates, and Tyrone was by far the least expensive, but we didn't pick him just for price. He was knowledgeable, genuinely friendly and very professional. Plus the work was done soon after we signed the contract. We have recommended him to others. Just excellent!!!

I had Tyrone out last year for a quote and my wife and I decided it just wasn't feasible to do both at that time. When we were ready this year we knew exactly who to call and Tyrone was back out here right away. He remembered out situation and exactly what we wanted and got started as soon as we were ready. Tyrone is very detail oriented (he LOVES to talk no conversation went less then 5 minutes) but he seems to enjoy what he does and it shows in the quality of his work. We did run in to an issue when TMW was removing my old patio but mistakes happen, not every job can go perfect. Tyrone called me right when it happened and made it right there was never any issue. This goes a long way in my book just the honesty of his business. His crew is great, very polite and willing to answer questions whenever they are asked. His work was top notch I have had a couple neighbors already ask for his information and even other contractors have commented on how great of a job the driveway is. I finally have a working patio with no water sitting against the house and a driveway that I can be proud of. Thank you Tyrone and the rest of the TMW crew.

I absolutely think the world of Tyrone and Luis. Tyrone gave me an excellent and insightful estimate that was complimented by Luis' recommendations (pertaining to brick/layout) that ultimately aided us in deciding on brick throughout the stoop and walkway. This of course allows for the best consistency, continuity and overall quality that many homeowners look for. When it came down to it, all we had to do was pick the color and the rest was completed professionally, on time and with respect to our schedules. Tryone is a very likeable guy and will tell you everything you need to know to make an informed decision. Luis, more reserved will really spring to life when talking about his profession and ideas to make your property look right--then he opens right up--good guy :). My wife and I found both Tyrone and Luis to be very trustworthy and conscious about even the smallest detail. I understand I get a 1 year warranty of parts and labor. But through previous discussions with Tyrone, there shouldn't be any problems so that made me feel pretty good. The work was just completed less than 1 week ago.

Tarone Ward is the owner of the company. I interview all of the companies and they all came out and gave me an estimate. He was just so interested in our situation. We had our house on the market for 21 months. We decided to do this before selling. I liked his personality and presentation and his price. He brought out his crew and he was here with them every morning. They were wonderful and every little detail was taken care of. They cleaned up so well and we were very pleased with the job and the company. The price was great, he wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive. The quality is great, the concrete is dry and it makes a huge difference to the looks of our house. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs any concrete work done.

I met Tyrone for the initial quote, and he was very friendly and helpful. When the work started, all were very professional, with much attention to detail and doing the job right. I was very pleased with the result, and am happy to have had this job done for such a reasonable price.

Our previous driveway was graded wrong, and when it rained water would run off the driveway at the house. Tyrone from TMW made extensive measurements of grade when they came out to do the estimate to make sure that they rectified the problem with the new concrete driveway. We had three quotes done for the work, and all ended up within $500 of each other. We decided to go with TMW because Tyrone was obviously the most knowledgable about our water problem and how to fix it. TMW's original quote was for $12000, and assumed that the gravel under the old drive would simply be regraded. When the old driveway was torn out, we found out that there wasn't any gravel under most of the old drive (which was probably the cause of some of our problems). The additional excavation and gravel necessary for the driveway added $1250 onto the price (we have a very long driveway - roughly 130 feet). We were home the whole time the crew was working. Tyrone was in and out, but took the time to explain to us what was happening at each stage of the project when he was there. When the project was finished, it was beautiful. We have gotten no end of compliments from everyone who sees it, and our water problems are totally rectified. Our money was very well spent.
