QUALITY GRANITE & MARBLE

I am writing to everyone to never hire Quality Granite and Marble in Elk Grove Village. It has been the worst experience in my life... literally. The men (Sam and Shah) are a con artist to the max. They said they would be here at 12:30-1 and they did not get here till 5. We called them multiple times and they kept giving us the run around and made up excuses as to why they were not here (one was that they stopped for lunch... ya) Then they install it and broke our pipes and garbage disposal. On top of that there are brown marks all over our granite which were told they would NOT be on. Now he is yelling at me on the phone. So ridiculous. I am not trying to rant but being 27 years old and we were saving up to finally get this done to have this type of experience is ridiculous. I don't want ANYONE to have to deal with this ever.

Awesome!! They were great on price, they even went to the warehouse and sent us pics of the slabs to choose from to save us the trip, installed quickly, professional and courteous and they did a beautiful job. Sam was very responsive and I would definitely use them again!

Was a mix up or lack of communications between the installer and the owner of company regarding what times they were to arrive. Installers were excellent! The owner of company did have to increase my price (for more square footage)saying that I needed more granite after the granite was cut to the measurements of my counter tops. Overall, the counter tops are beautiful and I am satisfied.

I have remodeled two kitchens. I felt like I had to follow up a lot more in this remodel once we were ready to get the ball rolling. We love the countertops. |

The crew that showed up to install the new granite counter tops were very good neat and clean, when an issue popped up I called Sundar and he got on it right away and resolved the issue quickly. This is very important as we believe customer service is critical when making a large investment. My wife and I are very satisfied and will use Quality Granite and Marble in the future. It is good to know that there is still a company out there that cares about making sure there customers are happy with the service they provide. Thank You so much !!!!

We had a great experience with Shah from Quality Granite and Marble. We were doing our first remodel in the kitchen and wanted to replace our old countertops with new granite ones. In the process we met several providers from Elgin to Mundelein to Elk Grove village (we live in Buffalo Grove). We had seen several granite types and pieces at the huge warehouses of the wholesalers and the whole process can get quite confusing. You might see the same granite name at different wholesalers but you can get prices from the fabricators at all different price points hence its difficult to truly compare the price and type of granite you might get. Ultimately, it boiled down to the comfort level in working with a particular fabricator. We received several quotes and Shah was able to beat our lowest quote. Along with price what was important to us was also the service and Shah made us comfortable from the very beginning. We visited his factory/showroom/warehouse and although it was a tad difficult to find, it had several different granite slabs in the price range we were looking for and in-stock! Rule of thumb: The fancier the showroom the higher the price you are likely to pay for the same granite stone slab. Liked the fact that Shah was polite, courteous and timely throughout the process. He kept you updated on the timing and installation options. His measurement guy came and took precise measurements. He made some suggestions on the peninsula we were wanting and his suggestions were right on the money .It looked beautiful after they installed it. From start to finish, we had our granite in approximately 2.5 weeks and everything went smooth. Will definitely recommend him if you are looking for great service and value for money. If you are looking for a glitzy showroom with pricey salespersons, this would not be the place for you.

We worked with Shah from start to finish. He matched our lowest estimate. He was patient with us, as this was our first kitchen remodel ever. The final outcome is beautiful, amazing and professional. We absolutely love our countertops, and the price was right!

Sundar was very helpful and very patient with us, we visited his warehouse and he had a wide selection of different slabs of granite and marble. We chose the "white galaxy" granite, he let us take our time in making sure that the granite we chose was the right one. Once we made our choice, he was very quick to send his guys out to take very accurate measurements of the square footage of the countertop, the guys were very professional and very helpful. Once the they had the measurements, couple days later we were able to go back to the warehouse and "map" out on the granite slab where to cut and what pieces we wanted most of as the countertop.My husband asked for the piece that was cut out for the sink and Sundar had no problem in keeping the piece to the side and delivering it to us along with the countertop the day it was installed.The installation guys took their time installing the counter top and making sure everything was sealed properly, especially around the drop in sink area. I would suggest though if Sundars people could learn how to re-install the plumbing under the cabinet after installation of the countertop, it would have saved us some extra/addtional money by not having to hire a separate plumber for this.Overall we are very satisfied with the countertop, installation, drop in sink and Sundar and his people, we would recommend him to others.

My first transaction was for a small powder room countertop. I met with Shah and decided on a color. He had some remnants and told me I could choose any part of that for my counter. I brought them my template and it was ready in 2 days – as promised. About a year later, I decided to do my kitchen with the same granite. Again, the transaction was very pleasant. I had to go to a warehouse to pick out my slabs, which allowed me to see the full piece and not just a small sample. Their people were punctual. There was a delay and I was informed about it ahead of time. The work is absolutely gorgeous. They cleaned up well and were done in one day (as expected). The only thing I wish they would change is to indicate the prices of the granite in their showroom. There were 3 grades and, of course, I fell in love with the expensive stuff. But I would absolutely do work with them again and will when I do my next bathroom. I justy wish I had posted this review sooner.

What a great experience dealing with Quality Granite and Marble. Hidden away in the back of a few other businesses, it was worth hunting out Quality's location to find a great selection of granite slabs of all colors and patterns. We chose one of the slabs in stock for our new kitchen counter tops and added a new under-mount stainless sink to the order that Quality also had on display. Then in just a day or so the measurements were taken and by the next week we had new counters installed. The installers were professional, made no extra mess and were done in just a couple of hours. They even covered our floors with drop cloths from the front door all the way to the kitchen to protect our hardwood floors. The price was very good and the service was excellent. The owner who was also our salesman bent over backwards to make sure we were happy with our purchase, and I can definitely say that we are very happy with Quality Granite.

They are nicely organized and the quality of the slabs are really nice. He will give you a quote on the spot. They do the measuring, installation, fabrication, etc. As of the time of this review, I have not yet settled on a granite place, but I will return to this showroom/warehouse.
