Don't waste your time with this unprofessional company. I contacted Glen (the owner) at Powerhouse to come to my home to assess some water damage and to repair a hole in my roof caused by an object that blew off of a neighbor's property. He advised me that he would write up an estimate for the damage, contact the insurance company and immediately send over a roofing contractor to put an emergency patch on my roof to stop further damage. Despite repeated urgent calls and e-mails to Glen over a period of a week from both me and the insurance company, Glen never bothered to respond, never bothered to call back the insurance company and, most importantly, never sent someone over to patch the roof. Needless to say, more rain came and more damage resulted. Infuriating would be an understatement.

Our hot water tank broke during a weekend when we were out of town, which led to major water damage to our finished basement. I called Powerhouse Restoration at 10 pm on a Sunday, Glen called me right back and sent out a crew immediately to extract the water and moved some of our furniture to prevent further damage. They also and brought in many big fans and dehumidifiers to begin drying us out. The next day they began taking out all the damaged drywall, insulation, flooring etcetera. His project manager Chris came by every day to check on the progress of the drying and repairs. Everyone was so polite and helpful. Glen worked with my insurance company throughout the entire process and kept us informed of the progress every step of the way via an Internet program, email and telephone conversations. They replaced damaged drywall, insulation, flooring, tile, doors, baseboards, furnace, and hot water heater and brought our electric up to code, which the city required! Thanks to Glen’s negotiations with our insurance company, this was all done for the cost of our deductible! Our basement looks better than before this mishap and I am very pleased with the work they did.

After having a pipe burst in my basement during the night I woke up to quite a mess. I called my friend who referred Powerhouse Restoration. I spoke with Glen and he immediately sent out his Project Manager and his crew. When they got here they turned off the water and started vacuuming it all up. They were also moving around furniture so it would not get ruined. They worked all day removing wet materials and setting up drying machines. It took a few days for everything to dry but the Project Manager would come by every day to verify and would walk me through what he was looking for. After everything was dry they sent a crew to put it all back together flooring, insulation, drywall, and painting. Everyone was very courteous and professional. Hopefully I will never need Powerhouse again but f I do I will not hesitate to call them. Very satisfied!!

They removed all of the damaged drywall, electrical, carpeting, and insulation throughout the entire basement. They installed special machines to quickly dry the basement. After that was completed they worked directly with my adjuster so I didn't have to do a thing. I never saw a bill, It was all handled by PowerHouse. They did a spectacular job.
