Modern View Kitchen & Bath Remodeling

There was something going on that I wasn't ready for them so they had to come back and they didn't have a problem coming back. One guy did everything. I had a good report with them and I didn't have any problems. The price was reasonable.

FABULOUS job. They are very meticulous and stand by their work. I called when there were touch-ups needed and Mark was always very open to fixing the problem areas and making sure the job was done correctly. Would completely use them again for any services.

We interviewed four contractors and chose Mark because his price seemed fair and we 'clicked.' The work started on time and proceeded as planned with few problems. Any time something came up (and there were minor issues), Mark did whatever it took to resolve it. One thing we did not anticipate was the amount of dust throughout the house. It was not the fault of the contractor; we just didn't plan very well to prepare for it. Mark's people made every effort to mitigate the dust. We are very happy with the results and wish we had done it years ago. One of our neighbors is now using Mark's services for their bathroom remodel.

We were very selective in deciding who to work with and contacted 3 possible candidates. Mark showed up exactly when he said he would and stated we'd have a quote withing 2 days which he did. Mark was very professional and really seemed to understand what we were looking for. One of the "name brand" companies we contacted (Airoom) gave us a range of $18-25k per bathroom for essentially the same thing we were asking Modern View to do. After contacting several of Modern Views references we decided to go with them. Mark gave us a start date and they showed up exactly on that date and stayed until it finished. The remodel took exactly the time he said it would take. Needless to say, we are extremely happy with out decision. I only wish there was a way to post before and after pictures to show the quality of work they do. When we have more 'stuff' to be done, Modern View will be the first and only company we call! A+++++++ rating.

Our experience was great. The cost estimate was in line with others but we felt really comfortable with Mark. It was our first project so we weren't sure what to expect. Mark was very helpful and even met us to help pickout tile. The job was done on time and faster than another estimate. I look forward to working with him again on our next project.

We were so happy with the work of Modern View that we have used them on two other jobs and will be using them again in the future on our master bath. Professional, responsive, clean and timely.

The work was all finished within 3 weeks of estimate. Mark's and his workers were very professional. One item had to be tweaked a bit but Mark made sure we were happy with the work. Reasonable price and a beautiful kitchen and bath!

Mark and team gutted the entire bathroom. We purchased all materials, and they installed everything. They were punctual and efficient, and completed everything in a week.

I have two kids, so I had the painters come the week we were on vacation. Mark came the week before to go through a walk through and received all the details. He then came the week of our vacation and painted the rooms. The paint store gave us the wrong paint for one of the accent walls so I did have to have Mark come back to redo that wall, but that was not his fault as the paint store gave us the wrong color. Overall very happy with the work they did. We would use them again and will recommend them to friends and family.

Marc was very professional. He came out to give us an estimate and listened to what we wanted. He also gave us some suggestions. He came back a second time with samples of the materials and this allowed us to chose what we wanted in the finishes. The work went very smoothly. They made sure that the floors were covered as this was an upstairs bath. Marc said that the project would take 7 to 10 working days. It was complete in 8 days.

The contractor was very professional and we discussed the project. He pointed out the difference between the Bid Deal and the actual work needed. Scope of project was larger than I would be able to afford at this time.

We wanted to paint the townhouse and contacted Mark for a quote. Made an appointment for an estimate. Mark arrived on time and took measurements and sent us the quote few days later. His quote was the lowest and we decided to use him to do the work. Mark and his crew were back out to do the work. The work was done quickly and professionally. Once the job was completed they cleaned up everything. The paint job itself was of very high quality. I would highly recommend Modern View for a painting project.

Modern View Enterprise, Inc. Mark Wojciuk 773 255-1667 Mark was courteous and professional. He came out, surveyed the job and told me I would have a quote within two days. Once we made our decision to move ahead with the work, he scheduled his crew and work began. They were prompt, courteous and hard working. They put up plastic in the doorways to contain the dust from demo and tarp down on the hallway carpet then started on the work. All my questions were answered and they finished the job within the time frame that was given to me. I am very pleased with their work.

All work went very well! Mark was very professional and honest. All labor came with 1 year warranty. He gave us really good direction on the design and the materials to use and was very accommodating to our changes. He did not try to "oversell" anything. Bathroom and kitchen look great and we would absolutely use him again. He followed through on everything he promised and his workers were polite, hard-working and left the area very clean at the end of each day.

It went well. He took plenty of time to answer all our questions and gave us a brief overview of what our project would look like. He took measurements and spent what we thought was a reasonable amount of time looking over the workspace. While we elected to go in a different direction than we originally intended, I would call Mark again for any future projects we may have.

Mark came to estimate remodeling our kitchen. He was right on time and very well prepared with samples and ideas. As we discussed the project he had excellent input and we appreciated his enthusiasm. He emailed us an estimate the following day. We were really impressed and, even though we went in another direction, wouldn't hesitate to reach out to Mark for any future projects.

Mark did a great job on changing our shower base with very reasonable cost. Although the first attempt wasn't what was expected, but Mark is a man of his word, he make sure everything turn out the way it suppose to be. He also give us a year warranty if anything happen. I have a very high confident on Mark, just bought a new construction and is consider him for most of our remodeling work.

He was very friendly and showed up when he said he would. I had a rather complicated design planned for this bathroom, and I felt like I had some trouble explaining my wishes to a few other people we had bid. But not Mark. He has a very artistic, creative sense - I think - and I felt like he could definitely handle the work and would do a very high-quality job. To be honest, he was my top pick out of five until the guy who came right after him, and the main difference there was price. Mark was in line with most of the other bids; one came in much lower and was also my second favorite, so we went that route. I would definitely consider using Mark and Modern View in the future, especially for complicated, detailed projects. Highly recommend.

Mark is always punctual and offers very good customer service. There were some minor issues with the granite was very responsive and coming back to re-finish until it was to my satisfaction. Will definitely hire again!

My husband recently bought a larger home in Palatine. I have only hired a professional painter once before so I had no idea what to expect. I used Angies List to get 5-10 interior painting quotes. The quotes I was sent were shocking..I had no idea how much it would be and I was a little put off by how many contractors were pushy. Mark from Modern View was the very first to respond to me with the lowest quote....he was very responsive and personable. I decided to not paint my entire house but do the main areas..so I purchased his 999$ deal..I grossly miscalculated and measured my space and had WELL over 1800 sq feet to paint. When Mark came to my home and saw how much to be painted he couldnt have been nicer..he was honest with me and gave me several different quotes based on painting different areas. I changed my mind a few times about what I wanted painted and the colors (I felt so bad for him!) but instead of getting frustrated with me he worked with me and was so understanding. He completely moved around his work schedule to get the work done in the near impossible window of time that I requested. When Mark and his crew finished I was blown away..he did such a phenomenal job, I get nothing but compliments on his work. In addition to the professional side, Modern View is all around good people. Mark (the boss) did a lot of the painting himself and was always overseeing the work when his guys were here..that says a lot to me. He was friendly with my son and my dog..from the start I felt comfortable with him in my home and knew he was a very trustworthy honest person. That to me is priceless. I can't say enough about Mark and Modern View they are wonderful and I can't imagine working with anyone else. :))))

We were very pleased with Mark's work on our home. He did a great job installing glass mosaic tiles to surround the sink area and the shower area, as well as replacing the fan. The work looks beautiful. He was very prompt in his communication with us; he always arrived on time; he left the space very clean when he was done; he was very accommodating with the scheduling of this job; he gave good advice on specific materials to use. Mark is very personable from the first call. He came out for a quote emailed the figures immediately then arrived on the agreed upon date and time. finished the work and cleaned up when done.
