Wally and his crew were awesome! They covered everything including the hinges on the doors. They were prompt, very friendly and did an excellent job with everything. They went out of their way to make sure they did everything I kept adding on, even things that went beyond painting. They installed moulding and quarter round in two closets and the bathroom that the flooring people failed to do. They noticed that I had bought a new light fixture and made sure that the old one was taken down so they could paint and patch in case the new light was not the same size as the old one. Their attention to detail was amazing. I would hire Wally and his crew again. Highly recommend Impress Painting.

The appointment did not go well, because it did not occur AT ALL. At 7:30am, Wally was not at my home as anticipated. I phoned him, but did not receive an answer. I text him to inquire about his whereabouts and his response back was "I apologize," with no other remarks. I then inquired if he was still coming. His response was that "I have too many things on my head I have my wedding on the weekend. Can we do it another time." Now, I am a pretty reasonable person, but I don't take kindly to being lied to, which I believe was the case. Even if was having a wedding, a Friday consultation should have been completely out of the question. Furthermore, I can't suggest another day and time because I have no idea if you are honeymooning or what your availability is. The proper thing to do would have been for him to PICK UP THE PHONE, call me and show some true integrity by apologizing and making some suggestions that would take into account when he would be available again, given the circumstances. Corresponding with customers via text for situations such as this is very unprofessional and it makes his company look bad. For all I know, his prices and work are of the highest quality, but customer service is important to me, and I don't take kindly to being disrespected in this manner. Needless to say, this was a huge inconvenience. I need the service completed sooner than later. Angie's list is supposed to have reliable companies. This company had decent reviews, and I refuse to believe that my review is the first and only poor feedback for this company. Those type of unprofessional behaviors don't happen overnight. They are apart of the company's culture and an unfortunate manner by which to handle business. I am now making a determination whether I will use Angies List again or recommend others to use it if companies can engage in this type of behavior that wastes the time of customers.

Wally and his crew were amazing. They arrived promptly each day, were extremely professional, courteous and trustworthy. Wally takes great pride in his work as demonstrated by the impeccable job they did with repairing, patching and painting. I felt completely comfortable having them in my home with no one else there. They cleaned up each day and were very respectful to my home and belongings. My house is over 90 years old and the walls, trim and ceiling were in terrible shape from water leaks, sagging plaster and some major cracking. Wally and crew took their time and worked nonstop to transform my first floor to look almost brand new. Every aspect of the job was outstanding. I will definitely use Impress Painting for all painting jobs in the future. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I feel they deserve an A+ in every category!

Wally and his crew were very professional and extremely clean. Their work was perfection. They were very punctual always on time in fact early. They were very respectful of my home. I was very pleased with the work Wally and his crew did.

Did a great job! Patched hole in wall left by plumbers who wouldn't work in crawl space. Very good price. Wally did such a good job we used him to paint 10 new doors. (see other review)

Used Wally to patch a wall so we tried him painting 10 new doors, door trim and some old wood trim. He did two coats of paint on the doors (pre-primed Lowes doors/trim) which turned out beautiful, reasonable price and timely. He sanded some old wood work, primed it and then did two coats of paint. Would recommend!

it went better than we expected. Wally was prompt and his team was very professional. Wally strongly suggested we use different molding around the doors in the dining room. After seeing his suggestion, we made the change. It was clear Wally knew his name would be linked with the finished room and he knew our first selection of molding would not look well. Wally was excellent communicating with us during the entire project. He and his team were very prompt each day. We have decided to use Wally to now paint the dining room and the kitchen ceiling.

Wally and his team did a fantastic job! They repaired major drywall damage to my ceiling/wall and painted the entire room including the trim and it looks beautiful. Wally was on time with everything! From the proposal process to job completion. They cleaned up, too! Very nice to work with and would recommend to family and friends.

Waldemar had a team of two painters (Tomas and Ryszard) power wash and paint the trim and soffits of our house.Both were Polish but they spoke in impeccable English so there was no trouble in understanding them. The work was done in a meticulous and precise manner. They renailed the soffits that had loosened. They were careful to protect the flowers and plantings which surrounded the house. The two painters made certain we knew when they were leaving and when they would return; unusual for trades people. They were punctual as to when they were to arrive in the morning and when they were taking breaks for lunch etc. In general, a very good job!

Wally and his assistant were very professional and did an incredible job. They worked very hard to protect our furniture and floors while they worked on the ceilings. The ceilings in our 87 year-old house had cracks and strange patches all over them. The ceilings also had unique curves and structures only found in very old homes which added to the job's difficulty. When finished, though, the ceilings looked brand new and impressive! All the contact that I had with Wally and his assistant was professional but laid back and comfortable. Wally would walk me through what they were doing and he answered every question I had. In sum, Impress Painting, and specifically, Wally Stanko, worked hard, did a great job, and left this customer very satisfied. I highly recommend Wally and his company to anyone who needs plastering or painting services.

We needed quite a bit of work on the interior of our house. The inside of our entire two story house needed all of the rooms painted, as well as quite a bit of plaster repairs to holes fron curtain rods, stress cracks, and wear and tear. We chose Impress Painting for several reasons. Wally (the owner) came out and listened carefully to all of our concerns, walked thru the house and wrote down everything I pointed out that needed painting or repair, and let me tell you our house needed a lot! He offered suggestions on types of paint and expained to me exactly how he would fix and remedy each repair that I needed. He and his team always were always on time everyday. I was having some unexpected breathing issues from turning on the furnace while they were sanding. Wally made sure from that day on, that the tarps were completely shaken out and the work area vacuumed perfectly every day before they left, so I had no breathing issues. He let me know what they would be doing from day to day. The entire job took 10 working days. The price came in as promised. There were never any surprises, everything completed on time and with complete professionalism. Wally and his team paid the utmost attention to every single detail of painting and sanding. They take great pride in their work, doing everything perfectly! Our house is now a beautiful home and we never imagined that it would be so perfect! I highly recommend Impress Painting and give them a 10 gold star rating! Wally pointed out a roof leak in the kitchen and he will be returning to compelte that additional job. We are so grateful and pleased with the beautiful and professional job they did. We will most defiinitely use them again. Thank you so much, Wally and Impress Painting!!

Well the did a good job. They were very clean and it was a very positive experience. I would love to recommend them. The boss was always there with the crew.

Wally is a professional and such a good worker. His work is perfection. The paint job was great. The room looks beautiful. He was very helpful in choosing a paint color. He is a pleasure to work with. The ceiling drywall repair job looks wonderful. You can not see any seams and it looks perfect. When Wally was finished, he cleaned up and insisted on vacuuming the carpet. The living room looked perfect when he left. The foyer doors are also perfect and look beautiful. I would highly recommend Wally. As I stated before, his work is perfection! We were so pleased that we want him to paint the dining room and he will be sending us a quote on that room and some other rooms in our home.

We contracted with Wally to do some extensive drywall repair in the living/dining room and one bedroom. Although Wally didn't do the actual work, his crew was fantastic and he checked in at least once and sometimes twice a day. Tomas and Richard were punctual every day, very neat and professional. Tomas discovered that additional work needed to be done to the damaged drywall, he and Wally explained and demonstrated the the problem very clearly so I understood completely what needed to be done. They completed the work ahead of time and right on budget. I would highly recommend them for this type of work.

Excellently done. Wally carefully covered all walls and exposed areas with plastic. Done quickly and the results were perfect. Good clean up and attention to detail. Second time I've used Impress painting. Highly recommended.

Wally was very professional and worked hard. The job turned out to be more extensive than oribinally thought because the was not primed prior to wallpapering. Nevertheless was diligent in his work. and didn't take any shortcuts. When he was finished, he thoroughly cleaned up the room. If you had A+, I would use that.

Wally did an excellent job. He paid close attention to every small detail. He made the ceiling look brand new. Even the renters called me to tell me how good the ceiling looked. After he finished with his work, he thoroughly cleaned the affected area. At the start of this job, he moved everything and then hung plastic to cover the walls, and even hung a plastic divider from the ceiling to the floor. He pretty much covered everything except the area that he was going to fix. Awesome job!!

Seven foot crack in kitchen soffit. Wally replaced and repaired drywall meticulously. Primed and painted soffit and attached ceiling. Wally was professional, courteous, ONTIME, and very tidy. He tented my entire kitchen to help keep the dust contained. Upon completion he cleaned up wiping all countertops down, vacuumed and took all of his garbage with him. I highly recommend Wally. I am very fussy and don't like a mess. He did outstanding quality work. Also, made it very clear that if I found any problem he would return anytime within six months at no charge. Highly recommend!!

Excellent job from start to finish. The furniture was moved, switch plates taken down, the floors covered. They filled and sanded the walls to perfection and the painting looks great. The job took 4 days to complete. All 3 painters were friendly, courteous, professional and prompt. We would highly recommend Impress Painting.

Wally and his crew were very prompt, careful with the painting and professional. We could tell that Wally takes pride in his work and would never do less than his best. His crew worked very hard and they all worked well as a team. At the end of the job, Wally made sure we were happy with the work and we were. We would not hesitate to use them again for painting services.

It was not a good experience. The company never called us back.

This is the 5th time or so that we have used Wally's services and we are pleased each time. Occasionally, we have to wait to get on his schedule, but it's worth the wait so call in advance of when you want the work done. He is very good, and, as a result, he is usually in the middle of a job with one or more lined up. Wally is always punctual and protects everything very well as he works and clean up is great. He attempts to have the job be as non-intrusive as possible. The results are excellent and our back entry is now a pleasure to come into everyday.

Impress Paining (Wally and team) were very professional. Wally was very responsive during the inspection and proposal process. We first found Impress Painting through Angie's List Concierge Services, and Wally came and bid the job (there were four bids total - 2 through Angie's List and 2 from other sources). Wally and another bidder came in fairly close, and were the most reasonable bids. Wally came through the house and took a lot of notes, and then within a day or two I had an email proposal from him. I took some time to evaluate it and talk with my insurance company to see if it was covered. Wally was accommodating to my schedule and some exterior work we were having done in the driveway. Wally's bid was very thorough and I could reach him by email or text with questions about the bid and scheduling the job. They showed up on time and the estimated amount of time it took (3-4 days) to complete the job was right on the mark. The quality of work was VERY good. You cannot tell that there was damage to the ceilings, as the repairs and paint job are excellent. The ceilings they did look better than the original ceilings! The ceiling repair and sanding was very dusty work, but they covered the walls and furniture with protective plastic, and the floors with a thick paper and tarps. While it is never easy to have work done in your home, we were very pleased with the quality of their workmanship and the outcome! There were no surprises, and that is a good thing. I plan to recommend Impress Painting to friends and family.

Wally spent a significant amount of time with me as I was searching for a painter. He was not able to bid on the project due to time constraints but I was so impressed with his professionalism and honest nature that I bothered him with questions as I entertained other bids. He was always engaged and offered valuable thoughts and feedback for me when there was no financial incentive for him. He was simply interested in helping me find a painter that would do a job with the same attention to detail and quality that he provides his customers. If the timing worked, i would have hired Wally hands down
