Once we got a start date established, Wally and Richard were prompt and worked the entire day.

Nothing went - company owner needs to find someone else to do the wallpaper - I had high hopes after seeing the reviews, too bad.

This was the second time I have hired Wally and he and Richard did another fantastic job. They patched and painted 2 bedrooms and were in and out in 3 days. They are very professional and neat, the work is excellent, I highly recommend Wally.

I was concerned the painting would not be completely done before the move, but Wally worked late and week-ends to make sure I could move in. He even had his mother and mother-in law come in to clean the day before the move-in. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. As a designer and realtor, I have had a great deal of experience with painters and would put Wally at the very top of the list. He is a delightful person and a great painter. I would trust him with my life. When he finished he told me he would come back and do touch-ups. He is such a perfectionist that he stayed from 8:00 until 4:00 and charged me next to nothing because he thought there would be less work than there was and he is so honest and kind that he nearly worked for free.

Wally was truly fantastic. He came prepared, did a fantastic job, had a fair price and was very clean and thorough with clean-up. He had put down coverings everywhere - furniture, carpets, wood mouldings, and everything else to prevent any damage. We were very impressed by his professional, calm, honest, and friendly demeanor. He did what he said what he was going to do. He was, as he said motivated- and I appreciated his work ethics. He knew we wanted to have this job done soon, and he accomodated us. I have only superlatives to say about him. In my opinion you cant do better. I will recommend him highly to everyone. He gets the highest A possible from me.

Wally was fantastic (A+++++++) and we would recommend him very most highly. He was thorough, honest, did what he said he was going to do, did a great repair and painting job, and marvelous cleanup. He was very careful with making sure there was no damage. A painter we had several years ago left marks all over the carpet that required professional expensive spot cleaning and full cleaning. Wally put coverings on everything- furniture, carpets, covered wood mouldings, windows sills, and more. We did not see any damage to anything from paint or otherwise. Afterward, he also uses a strong vacuum to pick anything up that might be there. Wally repaired the water damage, put oil based primer, and several coats of paint. The job looked outstanding to us. Wally is very professional, is motivated, gave us a fair price, has great work ethics, keeps his promises and does an outstanding job. Too bad all workers are not as great as Wally. We do not feel that we could have found someone better. We give him the highest recommendation possible, and would definately use him again.

Everything was done perfectly. The owner was incredible with promptly coming, good price, great work. Outstanding!!!

Things went well. I used this company a while back to paint a bedroom great job then great job now. He is proficient in all areas of paint and drywall repair. He covers all belongings well, clean up is excellent. Makes sure you are satisfied as a customer. He will return in January to do more work.

Could not have been better. Wally came right away and provided a detailed estimate, which seemed reasonable to me. When they began the job, they came early every day and worked hard, all day and cleaned up at the end of each day. The quality of work is outstanding. I've received numerous compliments on his work. We would highly recommend Wally’s help on any wall paper removal or painting job you have. We utilized Wally’s services the week of October 3, 2016. We tried to take wallpaper off the walls of our office on our own and it was a disaster because the previous owners had not put the wallpaper on properly. We had removed wallpaper on two other bedrooms with success but in this room the wallpaper was coming off in tiny pieces and removing drywall. Wally was able to take the wallpaper off and repair the walls so they now look perfect. Then, when he was painting our ceiling that had popcorn and it started coming off the ceiling. He completely removed the popcorn and made our ceiling look perfect too. He painted the walls perfectly. We cannot say enough good things about Wally’s service. The room is perfect. We enjoyed having him in our home and asked his opinion and advice on other things we were going to do the room. He is an honest and easy to get along with service provider and we totally recommend you utilizing the services he provides.

Impress painting is such an appropriate name for this company. I was fortunate to learn about them through Angie's List. Shortly after contacting Impress Painting, Wally came out to give me a quote. The job I needed him to do was extensive. I had 2 bedrooms where the builder did not properly prepare the drywall causing the paint not to adhere to the walls. Both rooms needed to be scraped down to the drywall, skim coated, primed and painted. The walls at one time had been wallpapered which caused the job to be even more difficult than originally thought. Wally and his helper were wonderful. They repaired the walls to PERFECTION! He even told me that he would guarantee the work for 6 months which I'm sure there will be no issues with his work. They definitely me the expectations of the picky homeowner! Wally also repaired and replaced some wallpaper that was peeling off the wall in a small bathroom. I'm so happy that I am able to keep the wallpaper a little longer since I love it. I can easily recommend this company. They were professional, hard working, responsible and easy to work with. I was very comfortable having them in my home. I will definitely contact Impress Painting for future painting projects.

The paint work and repairs to the walls were fantastic! They treated my humble garage as if it were my formal dining room. They responded promptly to my request for a quotation, provided a very competitive bid, and arrived at my home to perform the work on the schedule agreed upon. They covered the floor, moved items to facilitate work, and applied two coats of paint over a two-day period. Their invoice matched their quotation and the garage looks as new! I highly recommend Impress Painting for a quality paint job. I will use them again shortly for work needed inside my home as well.

I, like everyone reading this, was looking for a highly rated painter on Angie's list. I found them and liked the reviews, but wondered if reviews matched reality. I called for a quote and it has been positive from the very beginning to the end. Wally and Richard are an excellent team! Each man is very professional and skilled. I was impressed (and grateful) for their punctuality; attention to detail and neatness while in my home. They protected every area of my home that they worked in.. I have had many painters through the years, but they are by far the best. Walls that had bumps in them or needed repair are now smooth and flawless. The painting is meticulous. (I actually didn't think one particular room could ever look so good.) Without hesitation, I would do business with them again.

Wally was great. He was on time and kept the entire project within the timeframe that was communicated. The work product was very good, and we will use him for all of our painting needs going forward.

I would not use anyone else. Wally and Richard's work is second to none. The walls are amazingly smooth and have zero imperfections.This is amazing since the walls were completely damaged from wallpaper removal. The job was completed in 5 days with our house as clean as it was before they started. Highly recommend and will use them again!

We have a 110 year old house. In one bedroom Waldemar had to remove sections of crumbing plaster and replace with drywall, also screw in loose plaster on other walls where plaster could be salvaged. He left the walls smoothly sanded and primed (I plan to paint that room myself). In our staircase (two-story house) he set up scaffolding to reach a huge crack in the plaster ceiling, which he held in place with screws and glue before covering the whole shebang with drywall (my request) over the staircase and the ceiling of the upper floor landing (ceiling was cracking). He repaired the walls as needed, too, before making the walls smooth, priming and painting. Now my entire staircase, walls and high ceiling, looks better than ever. As other rooms need attention (inevitable in an older house) I will certainly have Impress Painting come back. Took him three and a half days (one day just Waldemar did bedroom, then next two and a half days he had an assistant as they finished bedroom and tackled landing/staircase). They took care to tidy up everything at the end of each day, were professional and very upfront about any needed changes to the work (sometimes you don't know what you will find when you start poking an old house).

The quality of the work that Wally and Richard did far surpassed our expectations. They were very meticulous with the wall prep--patching and sanding. The result was beautifully painted walls and ceilings and we are very happy with the way it turned out. They were hard working, punctual and courteous. We would definitely call them again for future painting projects.

Wally and his crew did an amazing job on our house. We have a large old home. We hired him to repair plaster and drywall and paint almost our entire house (two floors plus part of the basement). Extensive repairs were needed to cracked and falling plaster and to drywall. They were very thorough. The walls and cracks were repaired perfectly and the paint looks beautiful. They always showed up when they were supposed to and worked long hours to get the work done. Besides doing excellent work they were extremely nice and polite people. We felt his price was very fair for all the work they did. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I asked for an estimate of one coat of paint on a small 700 sg ft one bdr apt. wally looked around disregarding my input and then we went downstairs to the managers apt. He sat for a few minutes and I asked him what his quote is. With a straight face he stated 800 dollars, why I asked... he responded it is a job for two men 10 hours a day two days. my wife chimed in asking "how slowly do you guys work. that is a job that is done professionally in 8 hours.' wally: "that is my price". I rose from the couch , opened the door and motioned to wally to leave by waving my hand to the outside. he smiled at me and extended his hand for a handshake. I told him I would not shake his hand. on Monday april 4 I received a scathing phone call from caller id agnieszko nocon berating me about how I insulted his co-worker .the call was arrogant, intimidating and rude. at one point he called me a telephone thug/tough guy. this was uncalled for and expected of rude uneducated boors. I am 72 years of age and disabled, bedridden. I cannot walk because of spinal stenosis. He knew this from his partner Wally. these people prey on the elderly and infirm. their eastern European culture is one of destructive negotiation. Storm trooper tactics are not to be tolerated by anyone in a free country. but they seem to think they can intimidate at will. AGNIESZKO OF "TRI STATE REMODELING" THIS IS AMERICA AND YOU ARE ABUSING THE GOOD WLL OF AMERICANS. VLADIMIR OR WALLY WHATEVER YOU CALL YOURSELF OF "IMPRESS PAINTING INC"...CUSTOMERS KNOW THE COSTS OF LABOR...YOU TRY TO CHEAT YOUR CUSTOMERS WITH A SMILE ON YOUR FACE.... The name of the company says it all, IMPRESS. We were very impressed by the work performed by Wally and Richard. They were professional in every way. The price was fair and the results far exceeded our expectations. They were a joy to have in our home and will use them again.

Wally was able to get the estimate, and schedule the job in a timely manner. During the work, they used protective covers for carpet and kitchen furniture (the apartment was empty otherwise). The work started and finished as we agreed. The overall quality of work was very satisfactory. Wally was always available when I needed to consult any details and easy to work with.

We were moving in to our new home and our bedroom ceiling was a mess. On very short notice, Wally was able to come to our home and repaint the ceiling for a very decent price. He has a great eye for detail and he was an absolute life saver coming over on such short notice.

Wally painted our remodeled kitchen and dining room. The walls were in horrible condition. Wally and his helper Richard fixed all the holes and dents in the walls and made them very smooth. They also painted the ceiling and trim in both rooms and fixed all cracks and filled all nail holes. Our walls look brand new and beautiful. Wally also picked up sample small cans of paint and helped us select the paint shades. I would definitely recommend your painting be done by Wally. He comes and stays until the job is finished and does excellent work!

Wally and his team do good work. We would have them back to do more work. Arrived on time each day and very hard working until the job is done. Our job was not the toughest job but not the easiest earlier. Had to hand scrape textured ceiling and skim coat and now it looks like it was originally drywalled with no texture. Cleaned up after their work each day. Paint looks great. Call me "impressed".
