Wally and his staff were extremely professional. Wally was prompt to schedule our paint job and flexible as our scope grew in size (we had other work being done and needed paint to cover up poor work) . He was a very good communicator, calling me with any existing issues that might affect the final painted product, and suggesting easy fixes. He always picks up his phone, as well. The four rooms we had painted required a lot of prep work prior to painting, which was done with the utmost of care and very high standards. Wally provided me with plenty of time to look over his work and ensure there was nothing left to retouch. After payment, he called to check in to ensure everything was satisfactory. The work was very well done and we couldn't be happier. We will definitely use Impress Painting again.

Wally did a wonderful job, my walls and ceilings look flawless. Wally was very professional and on time every day for 8 days. The area that he was working in was cleaned up every day before he left. He made sure we had access to our kitchen facilities in the midst of all the sanding, priming and painting. I would recommend him to everyone and anyone who is looking for a job well done.

Our experience with Impress painting was wonderful. He was fabulous. The job was a complicated job because it was a plaster ceiling. He didn't replace it with a plaster ceiling, but I never saw anyone finish it so perfectly. I mean, it was due to storm damage, it was horrible. And so he did the whole ceiling, there were cracks and all sorts of things, and he showed us - "Oh this is what somebody tried to do before to repair it", and you know. So the ceiling looks better than it ever has. We've been here 30 years and it has never looked this good, so he was great. The price seemed pretty reasonable, especially since he spent about 4 days on the job. Because he had to set it up correctly and then he had to go through a couple of rounds of smoothing it, scraping it, putting down another layer, and then painting it. He was very meticulous, he was very clean, he cleaned up every day before he left and then when he was completely finished it was wonderful. He also got along well with our new kitten who was entertaining him all the time. His name was Wally, and he was just really great.

Wally was a great contractor. He showed up on time and did everything per my requests. The job site was kept very clean. He mudded, taped,sanded, and primed my drywall ceiling along with a half wall and repaired existing cracks in drywall. After priming, he used a quartz light to see any flaws in the patchwork and repatched sanded and primed once more. I would recommend his work to anybody! Outstanding job!!

I hired Impress Painting, Inc. to paint a small bathroom that had a history of mold. Wally, the owner scraped the walls down to the unpainted wall board and used a chlorine containing spray to eliminate the existing mold. In previous years we had the same bathroom painted twice to eliminate mold but the painters employed did only a superficial scraping of the walls and ceiling and simply painted over the mold. What was apparent was that Wally was a perfectionist and meticulously painted the bathroom flawlessly. With the correct ventilation I suspect that this bathroom will not again become infected with mold. We are planning to employ Wally in the fall to paint the outside soffit, fascia and garage door of our house. Wally has a genial and engaging disposition but is totally absorbed in his work while painting.

He was very prompt. Left him alone and he did the job right. They were here for 8 hours and it was cleaner when he left than when he came! His estimate was on-target.

These men were exactly on time. They were very courteous, never hesitated to do whatever needed to be done. They were even patient while I tracked down my rather troublesome cat and got her safely closed off in a room. The final result exceeded my expectation.

well we had three estimates and Impress painting fit our budget,Wally and Chris are master painters we bought our house with wallpaper in the kitchen and bathroom god knows how long it was there they removed it and finished the walls perfectly. these guys are great workers they have a fine technique when it comes to painting they transformed our house I was blown away by the change, and every little detail was taken care of for us. The paint job was like something out of Better Homes, and Gardens thanks Wally we love the job you did !!! Thank you so much

I loved the service, it could not have been better. He came when we was supposed to come and answered all my questions. He was very meticulous with his work. Gave attention to detail and did whatever I asked. He did it as if it were his own place. I would not use another painter. I would use him again. :)

We moved into a newly purchased condominium right before Christmas, only to find out that our neighbors were rather ?loud?. We decided to get the master bedroom/bathroom walls sound proofed. This entailed having huge holes cut out of the three walls (2 in the bathroom and 1 main back wall in the bedroom) in order to properly fill in the empty spaces. Therefore, we needed someone to come in and patch up the gigantic holes and re-paint the walls?Not only the three walls but also the corresponding parallel walls in each space (3 walls in the bedroom and 3 in the bathroom). A close friend of mine referred me to Impress Painting and said that Wally would take care of everything and that I would be happy with his work. He couldn?t have been more correct! I called Wally and when he showed up for the estimate, he took his time and diligently explained to me what the entire process would entail, what we could/couldn?t do, and how much it would cost. I was very pleased with his professionalism as I could quickly tell that Wally knew what he was talking about and made me comfortable about the entire process (I hate construction/renovations). The entire project took about two days, as Wally had to install new sections of the drywall, patch it up and paint. I decided to go with a contrast wall in the bedroom which was a darker shade of brown, and it turned out beautifully. The amount of attention and precision to detail was impressive?I am very happy with how everything turned out, and I will certainly be calling Wally for the next painting project!

I hired Wally to paint my dining room. I have a very old house with plaster walls. Wally and his team not only painted but patched and repaired the plaster so that it looks brand new. The only problem now is that I have to bring them back because they made the rest of my house look bad!

Wally answered my phone request promptly and came to give me a quote for painting my Mother's house at a time that was convenient for us both. He spent a good amount of time getting all the information correct instead of just glancing at the rooms and coming up with a figure. He was able to start when it was convenient for us. His prepping was immaculate and the many cracks he repaired looked amazing after he was finished. He painted almost the entire interior of the house and it looked fabulous when he was done. He is very conscientious, personable, and accommodating. I could find no dust on anything even though he had lots of crack repairs necessitating dry wall mud. He came and made sure I was happy with the job before he accepted the final payment. He wanted to make sure everything was done properly.

The job was done perfectly. Wally was great about checking over his own work and then invited me in to examine the quality of each room as it was finished. Touch-ups were done on the spot. I give Wally and his team an A+ for their work. And it was a pleasure doing business with them. Hire this painter.

Estimate was given and was the least expensive of three, and their work was excellent. We were told exactly when they would start and finish, how long the job would take, and we were consulted on every detail. They were punctual, neat, cleaned up very well when the job was over, and made sure we were satisfied. We will definitely call them for future work and would highly recommend them.

Arrived on time covered all furniture and floors. Diid an excellent job . I would highly recommend this company. Wally takes pride in his work.

I hired Wally from Impress Painting to paint a bedroom. The room had a wallpaper boarder and heavy red and black sponge painting on the lower half of the walls. The sponge painting had to have a skim coat of dry wall plaster applied to cover the black and red paint. Also we had a number of nail pops and a crack in a wall from the house settling. Wally did an excellent job with the repair work and covering the sponge painting. The room is beautiful. The job took 4 days to complete due to the amount of prep work needed before the painting could be done. Wally was meticulous in his work and immaculate with cleaning up each day. His rate of $680 was very reasonable for all the work he did. I will definitely hire Wally again for my painting needs.

I'm getting ready to sell the house. I had a small amount of water damage due to a leaky roof in my foyer. As I have plaster walls, there was no way I was going to attempt to repair it myself. Wally Stanko came the week before the service date and gave me an estimate, which I thought was most reasonable. He came the following Saturday (12/8), arriving just when he said he would. He was so very nice, professional and courteous. He put up a plastic barrier so as to prevent plaster dust from filtering into the living room. He told me what he would be doing: scraping, plastering, sanding, priming, sanding again and priming again. (I told him I would paint the finish coat.) He was here for about 6 hours. He did an absolutely meticulous job. He even did a small area that I hadn't even seen needing attention. I cannot speak highly enough of Wally and his work!! It's so nice to find craftsmen that will do small jobs as well as the large ones. His attention to detail was amazing! His work was Perfect! (Yes, with a capital "P".) Without hesitation, I would hire Wally for any future work I may have need of and I recommend Wally to everyone who needs painting and plastering work done. (And don't tell him I said so, but I think his prices are ridiculously low!!!) Thanks for a GREAT JOB, Wally!!

Second time we have used Wally and everything went perfectly. The room is beyond what I had in mind for the finished product. Wally is meticulous and works so hard to provide a quality product. All aspects of the experience went well from scheduling the job to the execution. We were so pleased with the job that Wally did that we increased what we paid him that he had quoted to us. We are going to use Wally again next year for exterior painting and for additional interior painting. A neighbor is also interested in using him as well. You cannot go wrong hiring Wally for your painting jobs. He is truly excellent.

Wally was prompt in returning my initial phone call and punctual to our appointment. He was happy to assist in our budgeting by doing a room-by-room estimate so that we could pick and choose what to do if necessary. He also recommended, in areas where the flaws in the plaster were quite serious, that it would be better to drywall over the surface, and took measurements so that he could give us a precise estimate in terms of the number of drywall sheets needed. (I mention this because many contractors don't take measurements and I always feel less comfortable because I wonder if they really care about attention to detail.) He emailed the written proposal to us the very next day as promised. The one negative thing that I have to say is regarding when I asked him what precautions he would take with lead paint, given the age of the house and the high probability that there was some lead paint. He described how he would seal each room with plastic and keep the dust contained, which all sounded well and good. But then he said that afterwards he would go shake the dropcloth outside so that the dust wouldn't be in the house. This shocked me because I knew that in doing that he'd just be contaminating the soil instead. We ended up deciding to do a much more extensive demolition project with another company, but I was very happy with Wally's professionalism except for the lead paint issue.

Wally patched it, working to my schedule. He did a fantastic job. I defy anyone to tell me where the holes were. He patched, mudded, and painted it. It looks phenomenal. He’s my go-to guy for painting in my home. He’s reasonable and works to what you need. You can’t beat it. I would have him back in a heartbeat.

The job went flawlessly. In one weekend Wally rejuvenated a room with an18 year old look to one that could be in a magazine. His care and experience is second to none. I will hire Wally for ANY painting or wall repair that I may ever need. He is just terrific!!

They job went great. Since Wally did such a good job on the patching, I thought I would hire him for the painting. As I anticipated he was great. Priming and sanding until the walls and ceiling were perfectly smooth; his attention to detail was once again very evident. Two coats were applied to the ceiling and walls and I don't think I have ever seen a paint job look better. My instincts were right on by hiring Wally. Great Job!!

It went very well. Wally met with my wife to conduct the estimate. She was very impressed by how he was already giving suggestions on what he would need to do to with some of the problem areas to make them look good. Others just kept telling her that it will be hard to make this look very good. They started when they said they would and worked all day, each day they said. It took them a couple of days longer to complete the job than expected, but I completely understand. They repaired some damaged drywall and reinforced some drywall. They made one very long corner that was not straight at all because of how the previous owners had structured certain walls look amazingly straight. Their goal was to make the rest of the house jealous of these new rooms; I believe they succeeded. Wally even gave me tips on how to make drywall work even a bit more structured. Another good thing is they both recognized what a daunting task it would have been to put drywall up in the new rooms. They understood the complexities that went into getting drywall up for those two new rooms. They are not any where near a straight four wall set up. Very well done, Wally and Julio.

He came out on short notice and gave me a very reasonable estimate. Two days later he was able to start and one day later finished. Wally accommodated my schedule and was every bit a professional. He treated my home as if it were his own. Thank you Wally!!

Impress Painting was hired to patch and prime drywall on the walls and ceiling of a kitchen remodel area. Wally came out to estimate the job twice, since the work ended up being much more extensive than originally projected. He was very flexible in scheduling the work and was able to meet my timeline for the project even though the work was more than he expected. Wally was prompt, neat and efficient and did excellent work. He hung plastic ?walls? around the area while he was sanding to reduce the dust in other areas of the home and cleaned up the work site every evening. I would highly recommend Impress Painting for drywall work.
