GHC MECHANICAL INC

I am totally dismayed by GHC Mechanical and would suggest others not call their company based on the following. First of all, they came recommended by a friend’s company who had worked with GHC installing ‘under pavement coils’ to heat up and melt snow and ice on driveways in the past. We told GHC that they came recommended to us, and by who. We have a hill on our driveway which can be treacherous with ice or snow on it and wanted our driveway torn out, coils installed under a new concrete driveway so we wouldn’t have to worry about the hill as we aged in this house. Their representative came out in January 2018 to measure and provide a bid for the work. He was nice enough. We told him absolutely no rush on the work, they could install any time before Winter 2019 so no time pressure. He told us he would email his bid. Weeks went by with no bid or contact so we called again to find out when we could expect the bid. They didn’t return our call. Then we called the company again a few weeks ago just in case something got lost in the system. We reminded them who we are, that they had promised us a bid and who thought enough of them to recommend them in the first place. They didn’t return our call once again. This is a typical company with lousy customer service and who doesn’t respect others time. Instead of just being up front with us and telling us that for whatever reason they weren’t interested in our job, they figured the best thing to do was hide. They wasted our time and they weren’t even smart enough to care that they were letting down another company’s recommendation of them. Find another contractor folks because if you have a problem either during or after their work is completed their response may be to hide from you too. Craig Casino Winfield Illinois

They said they will be here by 7 am and they were here by 2 minutes to 7 am. They were here for 3 days, removing the old boiler, installing a new one and got it up in running. I will use them again in the future.
