This is the fourth time Terry and crew have remodeled our house and once again the work was wonderful. We completely gutted and rearranged the kitchen layout by moving the stove and the refrigerator. Jody provided a few layout options and we fell in love with one and the kitchen just took off from there! We did have a few issues crop up which caused some delays but not all remodeling can be issue free, right? And Terry always made sure the delays impacted us as little as possible. Owing to an error from the cabinet manufacturer we had the proper cabinets but incorrect doors for several weeks but by installing the boxes we had the use of the kitchen even if not the finished look. It was only 5-6 weeks without a functional kitchen (and then the additional weeks for the doors which included some vacation time for us) which is a testament to Terry's organization and diligence. Terry's supplies are always accommodating and offer some wonderful finishes and products. We wouldn't exchange our new kitchen for the old one for anything!

Its almost like a year without CCCM is a year without seeing dear friends and family.! This is our 3rd project with CCCM and once again we are overjoyed at working with them and the final results. When they came out to provide an estimate of re-doing our patio, our original intent was to have our current blocks taken up, a proper base put in and either re-seat the block or install pavers. However, because they know the right questions to ask, when I said my main complaint with our old patio was the uneven blocks, the constant weeding and never ending collection of mud and dirt, Terry & Jody right away suggested going with concrete. This is something I would never have considered until they showed me how the final results would look and also how with our Chicago winters this would be our best way to not have smaller blocks up-end every year. When the workers arrived on June 30, we originally were thinking of moving some of our old blocks to a walkway from the patio to our gate. I said how sorry I was that I didn't think of having them quote it with a matching sidewalk and right away Terry was on the phone getting my quote updated and then he was off to the village to update the permit. Just like that we were going to have a wonderful patio and new walkway all flowing the same. Jody worked closely with me making sure we selected the right color and release for the staining and they prepared us for what to expect during the stamping and clean up. And they left the yard in great condition and made sure everything was done to perfection - something they do with every project. As I've said before, working with Terry and Jody is truly like inviting family into our home. They look out for their clients and have the best ideas during development. They worked very hard to get this project done before July 4th and even with all the rain we've had, they succeeded. Every time we walk outside we just smile at our new back yard. CCCM can truly do it all - from inside remodeling to exterior work. I can't recommend them enough to anyone needing any type of home work. You'll be smiling like us, too!

CCCM did our kitchen 14 years ago so when we decided to do our 2 bathrooms back to back, we didn't hesitate to contact Terry. We have heard of several contractors who require a deposit before beginning a project. We did not pay CCCM anything until all the work was done. This project went exceptionally well. They finished the first bathroom on a Friday and gave us the weekend to make sure no tweaks were needed before gutting the second bathroom on Monday. Terry and Jody opened up the shower area by removing the existing soffit. They suggested we go with a no frame glass door and fixed panel to make the most of the space. The difference from the old shower is amazing. When we ran into a building code issue with relocating the drain, they were very concerned about the best and most cost effective way to handle the issue. They made every effort to minimize the cost of both parts and labor. Everyone who worked on this project was very professional and very pleasant. Terry and Jody consistently checked on the progress and asked if we were happy with the way things were going. When I needed a sample of the granite remnant I chose for the vanity top in order to choose a paint color, Terry contacted the supplier right away and I was able to pick up the sample very quickly. He was also able to negotiate a fantastic price for the top. We are extremely satisfied with the work done on this and our other bathroom! We have had multiple compliments on how nice they look.

Everything went extremely well. Before we started Terry and Jody gave us ideas and suggestions to make the most of the space since we have small bathrooms. We purchased a few items ourselves to utilize a discount at a couple big box stores. Terry picked up and delivered those items to our house before the project started. We added a couple items and made changes from the original proposal. When we asked for a ballpark idea for the extra cost for those items, Terry gave us a very good idea of what it would be. Whenever there was a minor problem, they were quick with a solution. When they realized that the access panel on the whirlpool tub we chose did not have access to the motor, they had a solution. Both Terry and Jody checked on the progress daily and were there to lend a hand if needed. Terry asked me multiple times if I was happy with the way things were going. Everyone who came in to do work was very professional and did excellent work. When the medicine cabinet we purchased had a nick in the mirror, Kevin suggested that it might be easier to call Kohler and ask for a replacement part. It saved us the hassle of returning the cabinet. Kevin also noticed that the light in the bathroom was dimming at times. After checking the circuits, they found a sparking breaker that needed to be replaced. Thankfully it was replaced before it caused any damage.

The guys (Terry and Jody), came to house to give me an estimate to fix the wall. Then several days later came back with the materials and completed the job. It looks like new. I have used CCCM, Inc several times over the years and have never been disappointed. They have completely remodeled my kitchen and a bath room, replaced all my hollow-core doors with 6 panel doors, completely rebuilt a brick paver patio, fixed the damaged wall, and most recently replaced my driveway. In fact, they constantly amaze me with their attention to detail and enthusiasm. I always feel I am getting a very fair price with top end materials and superior workmanship. They always do what they say they will do and when. Terry and Jody are the main contacts and physically oversee each job. Any questions are promptly and completely answered. They keep the customer "in the loop" before, during, and after the work process. These guys are definitely worthy of their Gold Star's.

First, we need work done as quickly as possibly. We purchased a new laminate floor but it could not be installed due to the condition of the sub floors. CCCM got the job done within one week of giving us a quote. The floors look great. We are very pleased with the work they did, how quickly they got it done and they did not leave a mess. Thank you!

Based on the overwhemingly positive Angie's List reviews, we hired CCCM Inc to gut and remodel our first-floor master bathroom. Terry and Jody DeBartolo are a father-son team with Terry doing most of the contact with us until the work in in our house actually started. Then we saw a lot of Jody, the architect, and Kevin, who was on-site day-to-day. Terry was able to connect us with reliable, quality vendors for the plumbing and tile. Terry and Jody worked to accommodate the vendor we wanted for the shower, tub, and vanity. They were also able to accommodate our restrictive, winter break schedule, and finished up in a timely fashion despite a hiccup with the plumbing vendor. We liked that all of the specialized workers (tile install, plumbing, electric, etc.) are employees of CCCM, so we didn't have to worry about securing liens. We also liked that our house was left in immaculate condition at the end of the work day, and we didn't have to relocate to another area of the house for the duration of the project. Everyone we met from CCCM was friendly and knowledgeable, and we would definitely use them for other projects.

I joined Angie's list to look for a GC. Called this company and after 4wks never heard from them.

Provider politely and professionally told me that unfortunately, he no longer performs work in the city of Chicago.

Terry is by far and A+++++++ !! I wish we had contacted him prior to finding the contractor we had hired. Unfortunately we still need to get out of our current disaster with our previous contractor, but Terry spent so much time on the phone with me with INVALUABLE advice! HE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND to help us, he took the time to explain in detail things we need to be aware of, and he even solved one the more major issues we were having with our sagging floor beams in terms of leveling out the floors before tiling. Over the phone, he was the first person who was able to identify how to potentially fix our crooked floors without starting from scratch. I am beyond grateful for the time he spent listening to our situation and how much time he spent explaining the process, what we need to do next and even gave us a referral for a lawyer to help give us hope. He even took the time to call me back because he wanted to add some helpful suggestions to look up more info on consumer rights for the state of Illinois. I truly wish we lived closer so that we could continue with Terry, whoever hires him is in very very good hands. Be thankful you found him! He asked me to stay in touch with updates. A gem!!! I tried to obtain this company's service in 2013 and they were booked solid, but I could tell from their stellar reviews that this was the provider I probably wanted, so I waited until 2014. It was well worth the wait. Because the work I needed done would require different skill sets, I wanted someone to manage the process. Because I live in a home built in the fifties, I'm used to the idea that something that looks simple on the outside may not prove as such once a wall or a roof is ripped away. Such would be the case with my job. Terry and his son Jodi present themselves as people who will do a job as if it is their own home. So true, so true... One story... When the job was essentially finished and Jodi had sent his co-workers on their way, I observed from an upstairs window as he swept the area with a broom. Nothing special there... he wanted the area to look nice...but when he was done, he laid the broom aside and then started to eyeball the work, I mean he took some time to study the completed project, went over to the post and gave it a couple of pushes and pulls. I really got the impression that he wanted to make sure everything was perfect. Great job... Would hire them again in a flash. One extremely minor complaint and this may be just my hangup... In the process of doing the work beyond the scope of the original project, I didn't receive a good sense of how much things were going to cost. The extra work (necessary and performed with speed and quality) came to a somewhat eyebrow raising cost. In the end....well worth it....

We first contacted Terry and Jody in December of 2013. They had a backlog of work and were not able to start until July. I chose the cabinets in early June and there is a 6-week wait before they come in. Actual work started around mid-July and was not completed until mid-September. Part of the reason for this was that there was a 3 week wait from when the Cambria representatives measured the lower cabinets (they must be in place before measurements will be guaranteed by Cambria) until Cambria could install the countertop. Terry and Jody were very good about keeping me informed constantly, and were overall great to work with. Jody was there at 7 a.m. almost every morning that work was to be done. I left Jody and his workers there while I went to work and they locked up. They did great quality work and the kitchen looks beautiful! The quote I was given for the work was $35,300 but that included a certain allowance for cabinets and for backsplash (done in a plain horizontal stacked subway tile), granite countertops, sink and faucet. I ended up choosing upgrades to the quoted cabinets and quartz instead of granite, with a marble backsplash instead of tile. I asked for a chevron design behind my stove and that ended up costing extra because it takes extra time for the subcontractor to do it, so be aware of that wrinkle if you want a special design. So they ended up charging around $25,000 because I had directly paid for the big ticket items - cabinets, backsplash, countertop, sink, faucet - which all cost more than the allowance. Also, the City of Naperville takes the opportunity to enforce new requirements whenever anyone does work needing a permit, so I had to pay for special child-safe electrical outlets, an outlet at the end of the counter peninsula, and inter-connected, wired smoke and carbon-monoxide detectors throughout the house, and some work on the electric breaker panel, which cost more than $1000 additional. The worst part was how long this project took - we had our refrigerator hooked up in the eating area, but we had no stove or sink except for the laundry room sink for 6-8 weeks and I was not prepared for this - the contract said a total of 2-3 weeks completion time but that is just not realistic, even for a medium-size kitchen. I only had a couple of cosmetic things I asked for changes to, and Jody took care of them. I am completely happy with the kitchen! They did a beautiful job.

Very happy with the result. Gutted upstairs bath. New tile, jetted tub.. the works. My favorite - I asked for a skylight and Terry figured out a way to do it with very reasonable cost. Definitely ask him for a skylight if you are getting an interior room done. Terry, Jody, Kevin and team are prompt, professional, clean.. totally above board.

This is our second job with CCCM and once again we are more than happy with the results. This was a HUGE project which required us to literally pack up the house and move it into the garage so the flooring guys could begin and continue through the whole house. Terry sent us to a wonderful flooring place where we picked out a nice Shaw laminate floor with 25 year warranty. We also picked out a new front door and originally a cross-buck storm door, but Terry, in his wisdom of all things construction, talked us out of the cross buck and we instead picked out a wonderful Larson storm door so we didn't hide the beautiful new front door we got. He was SO right about that! We also picked out 6" detailed baseboards, which we know were a bit of a pain for Kevin to cut and miter but he did his usual perfect job and we love it. Our ceiling had several nasty cracks in it, but once again Jody and his team know exactly what had to be done so it didn't crack again by repairing a gap in the joists that seems to be a problem is some of these homes built in the early 1960's. They leveled our living room floor, installed and painted all the trim, and front inner door. We had hardwood floors installed OVER our old floors about 6 years ago - (a big mistake with dogs in the house) and I knew when those were removed to the subfloor it would leave a horrible gap, bigger than the rest of the trim. I alerted Terry about this and they came up with a repair where they built little replicate sections of the trim and pieced those in so the new floor was right up to them, with no gap. They look brilliant and you can't tell they are pieced in. This is a good example of one of the reasons we love CCCM so much - they are creative all the while professional. Knowing I work from home, Kevin was mindful of that and made sure the home office was the first room finished to a point where I could get back in there to work. He also made sure the bedrooms were able to have the beds put back in by the end of the first week. Terry and his crew are always so friendly and try to make sure we are never inconvenienced. I've said it before and I'll say it again - these guys are now like family to us. We relied on them for so many details and answers to our questions and they never made us once feel like we were bothering them. And they are the kind of crew you can leave to do their job while you go about your business elsewhere. I was able to keep working everyday, knowing they were doing their usual perfect job in the house. I like to say you get what you pay for, and while that is mostly true, we feel we got WAY more than our money's worth once again from CCCM. It's like we got a new house - and it's perfect! One of our main pipes to the septic tank broke. The septic company said that it was a plumbing project that could be fixed inside the house, and our usual plumber said the septic company should fix it, saying that there wasn't a good solution inside the house. I called Terry and he referred me to his master plumber contact, who was able to fix the plumbing problem inside the house. It was really tough to find someone good and Terry really helped me out, even though he made no money on it.

Terry DeBarttolo is the type of guy that knows the right way to remodel a house. He provides honest and constructive advice on home repair. Along with his sons, Terry evaluated a complicated problem we had with our project, and set us on the right track to a solution. We were disappointed that his schedule couldn't accommodate our short time frame.

I followed directions from Terry and Kevin and as always they were correct and I was able to do the detective work and isolate the issue, and correct it. It cost me nothing and Terry took his time to walk me through it. This is what "service" with CCCM is about.

The owner came out the same day, looked at it, and told me that there were no repairs needed, the toilet just needed tightened, he tightened it for me, didn't charge for the services, and even gave me a call the next day to make sure the problem was resolved! Great company, I will use them again if a need arises.

I can't say enough good things about CCCM Inc. They are extremely professional, yet you get a feeling that you're dealing with longtime friends. Terry, Jody, Jim and Kevin were a joy to work with. The plumber, Jason, he engaged was just as pleasant and professional and it showed in his workmanship. They all arrived at work on time, made sure our floors were protected and left everything clean when the project was completed. Terry also helped us by advising us to check with our insurance in regards to the damage we suffered from water. Terry and his son Jody offered many helpful suggestions on how to achieve our desired results. They have a comprehensive list of potential vendors that included both big box stores as well as smaller bath suppliers, with clear instructions on who to contact when we went to pick out materials. These vendors enabled us to get the best pricing and were all pleasant and helpful. We had a built in very large medicine cabinet-like storage area we really needed to keep and Jody went above and beyond to find a very large medicine cabinet that they took the door from to fit over our storage area. The end result is this beautiful mirror that opens to our much needed deep storage. We selected some nice marble tile for the shower and floor, and Jim used his expertise to make sure that everything lined up perfectly, asking my input several times on patterns and placements. We trusted his judgment and suggestions as he progressed through the project. Jim was a joy to have in our home every day and we looked forward to seeing him each morning. This are just a few examples of how closely Terry, Jody, Jim and the crew went above and beyond through this project. You can rely on Terry, Jody and their crew to work with you step by step on your projects, all they while making sure you have the best product, craftsmanship and solutions, while they remain mindful of costs. Nothing is too big or small and their knowledge is second to none. We are now moving on to our next project with CCCM ? having all the floors replaced in the whole house except for the bathrooms. When I questioned how long it would take, assuming it would be done in sections, Terry once again had the perfect solution ? rent a PODS container for our lighter furniture and they would have the whole house done in 2 days. They also have the perfect vendor for the flooring so we'll be happy with the results for many years to come. It doesn't get much better than that! I am already recommending the team at CCCM without hesitation to my friends!

I highly recommend CCCM Inc. They are total professionals and did absolutely outstanding work. Terry, Jody, Jim and Kevin were a joy to work with; they were pleasant, polite, friendly and professional. They arrived at work on time, and left our house completely clean at the end of the day. We felt so confident with them, that we actually went on vacation in the middle of the project. There was never any concern about them having full access to our house while we were out of town. The only problem was that I missed seeing the daily progress! I had interviewed several contractors for the job, and as soon as I met Terry, I knew that CCCM was the company that we would go with. Terry even accompanied us on several occasions to help us select tile, granite and cabinets. After we made our selections, Terry took care of the rest to make sure that we ordered the right amount of tile, the right sized sinks, cabinets, vent fan, etc. When there were overages, Terry returned them and our accounts were credited. Jodi went to bat for me when he felt that he could get a better price on granite. We were absolutely thrilled with the finished bathrooms. We had some very intricate tile work done, and Jim took his time to make sure that everything lined up perfectly. By removing a false wall and a soffit, they were able to increase the size of our shower stall substantially, and the visual impact was amazing. Everyone that has seen our bathrooms is amazed with the quality of the work and the products used. I can recommend the team at CCCM without hesitation!

The integrity, knowledge of materials, and pride of craftsmanship of CCCM is unparallelled. The remodeling they did to acomodate my husband's stroke was both flawlessly and speedily executed. After reading all the reviews and seeing all of their awards, I expected excellent work. What I didn't expect was the kindness and compassion Terry demonstrated. I knew I had to remodel the bathroom before he got home from the rehabilitation hospital. Terry was the first one I called. He explained that they usually scheduled bathroom remodels several months in advance, but then spent quite a bit of time telling me what to look for when hiring someone else. I was disappointed and more than a little scared that I wouldn't be able to get the work done in time. Terry called me the next day and said he knew others who had gone through this and was worried about me. He came over to see what needed to be done and agreed to take the job. Terry, Jody, Kevin, and Jim worked hard to get everything done. The bathroom is perfect, and they did a lot of other things around the house that needed to get done. I was especially impressed as I watched them brainstorming on how to put handicap rails in the garage. They wanted to have something strong, but that could be removed when/if my husband no longer needed them. Because of their hard work my husband got out of rehab early because the hospital knew the house had been modified for him. I can't give them enough praise. I will definitely hire them for any future work.

CCCM was a great company to deal with. The estimates were accurate and thorough. All the sources they sent us to were easy to work with and well priced. The workman sent to our house were well trained and did high quality work. They were considerate and always did their best to keep the chaos of construction confined. The work was completed in the time frame they gave us. The estimate CCCM gave us was not the lowest but they were accurate. The other estimates we got were both under estimated and costs cut in areas we specifically asked for something different. The owners Jody and Terry were so easy to work with. They offered advice when needed, listened to what I wanted, and paid attention to every detail. I have a beautiful kitchen, of great quality without extravagance. I highly recommend this company and will use them again for my next project.

Kevin and Jody arrived early in the morning, decided what needed to be done, and went out for supplies. The list included the sink repair, which required a drain pipe replacement, repair of a door frame on a sliding glass door, caulking on a bathroom sink counter, a shower soap dish, a bathtub soap dish, and a shelf, and the replacement to two light fixtures in the unfinished basement. We were delighted to have all of those minor repairs done, since we are not handy! We don't think there is anything that Jody and Kevin can't do! We have used CCCM for a major bathroom renovation, and were very happy with that result. It's good to know there are people we can call, for repairs large and small. We always tell Terry, Jody, and Kevin that finding this company was alone worth the Angie's List membership!

They are the best!!!! I have utilized CCCM since 2008 and have always been more than satisfied with the quality of their work, their ethics and how they always respond quickly to my calls. Terry, Kevin and Jody always look for the best and most economical ways to resolve whatever the problem is and treat me like family....Whether I spend $10,000 or $700.00 I am treated with the same level of importance. When they say someone will be there at 7:00 a.m., someone (Kevin) always is right on time the quality if his work is perfect and happily recommend them to anyone looking for top quality work, top quality people and fair price... A few years ago we hired a handyman to install new storm windows after our house was painted. We strongly instructed him to ensure all the windows opened before he installed the storms. Well, he didn't. Due to this we were unable to wash or open most of the windows. I thought we would need to have all the storm windows removed and the windows pried open. We used CCCM for a bathroom remodel, and were extremely pleased with their work, so I called Terry to see if this is a job he might take. It's hard to find someone who will take on small jobs. Terry had experience from when he worked on an old tall building in the city and was able to open all the windows from the INSIDE in a few hours. They came in the morning and I left them to complete it as I had to get to work. This is also a major reason I called CCCM as they are extremely trustworthy and I have no hesitation to leave alone in my home. Thanks to Terry/CCCM for coming through and making this a simple project!
