BILL'S CARPET SERVICE

Overall all, it was okay. The carpeting worked out well in the FR with an eight lb. pad (it is a commercial grade, moderate traffic Mohawk. Upstairs, Bill suggested minimal padding for wear...however, after it was installled, we found out it was a 32 OUNCE pad...feels like we are walking on concrete. Additioally, pieces of our old caret were left in our back yard and in the house. Clean-up was very poor ....dozens of staples laying on the stairs (we have 2 young children and 2 small dogs). Also, painting on the side of the stairs was chipped on each step (maybe it came off when the old carpet was removed?) Anyway, we just painted last year :( That said, the price was quite fair and it was put in quickly.

He is really good and has been very helpful. He comes on short notice and is very pleasant and easy to deal with. He works with whatever your particular needs are and does not try to sell you a package.

The 3 young men arrived at 10:30 am and the job was finished to my satisfaction at 4:00 pm. The only furniture they had to move was a pool table. They were, as were all of the people I dealt with, very congenial, but focused on the job. From initial contact, me walking into the showroom to completion of job was about 5 working days. Steve who came out to measure the job made a suggestion to slightly upgrade the carpeting I had initially chosen, it only added $500 to the initial estimate. He was right on with his advice. We couldn't be happier with the service and work. Would ABSOLUTELY use them again!!!!
