They worked hard. When they first showed up (on time) they discovered that the site was more difficult to access than they expected from the original survey. They eventually left and returned the next day with more appropriate equipment. It was VERY windy that first day (they were on the roof - remember), but they worked through the day and made substantial progress. They assured me that the roof would be watertight each night when they finished for the day - which was good because we got pretty good thunderstorms one night. No leaks. It did end up taking them longer than they originally expected - I believe they were on site parts of 4 days whereas they thought originally that they might finish in 2. I'm not surprised - I think the job was probably more work than they expected. It was fine. They were professional. Cleaned up each evening. Were always curtious. I was quite nervous replacing the shingles on the entire roof, but they were great. They made me feel like I was in good hands. It's done. It looks great. I'd be happy to recommend them to anyone.

Dan said that the extent of damage is so borderline, that if it were his house he wouldn't bother. The shingles were still be in good shape, the only damage was cosmetic to vents and gutters.

They called me back, scheduled a time, and came for a quote. They were very knowledgeable, polite, and professional. However, I thought their quote was a little high- it was at least $3000 more than any of my neighbors paid for their new roofs. I am still searching.

They came out in a timely manner. They were very professional. They came out and explained all of the intricacies of the contract and went over all of the services that they could provide. They were good about explaining what services they would provide with the contract. They were very clear with the estimated price, unfortunately for them that was the only reason I did not choose them, was that I thought that the price was a little high. The estimate came to about seventy three hundred dollars.

Their estimate was too high so I am unable to go with them.

Very prompt service as far as coming to look at the problem. He did say he wasn't sure how to fix it, and was to call the next day with an estimate. I never heard from them again.

Adams did a great job. They did a very detailed inspection of my roof. They were a bit higher in their estimate than other roofers, but they also used quality products. They were also the only ones to recommend venting more in line with my roof type. I was impressed with their knowledge of roofing. They answered all of my questions thoughtfully and in great detail. I did not feel rushed at all. The job was done on time and very well. The crew was very polite and professional. The clean-up was outstanding. I did not find one nail or piece of roofing material anyplace on my property. They explained all of their costs in great detail, I had no surprises at all. I am very pleased with Adams and would definitely use them again. Highly recommended.

They told me they would be out to my home on a Thursday and never showed up or called me to set up a different day or time.

Once they got the area of damaged roof open it was a smooth deal from start to closer.

They are very attentive to detail. I had gotten three different quotes and I felt that this was the best choice to go with. They were not necessarily the cheapest, but I felt I was getting my monies worth and a quality job done. I will definitely call them again in the future.

Stathie was punctual, professional, & courteous. He did not overcharge at all & overall, I felt he was competent, professional, & most importantly, honest.

I WAS INFORMED THAT THEY CHARGE BY THE HOUR. I OFFERED TO PAY FOR THE HOURLY RATE TO HAVE THEM DRIVE TO AND FROM PALATINE TO THE CITY FOR THE ESTIMATE. THEIR REPRESENTATIVE SEEMED COMPLETELY UNINTERESTED IN MY BUSINESS AND SAID THAT DRIVING TO THE CITY WOULD BE TOO FAR. I REITERATED THAT WE WOULD PAY FOR THE DRIVING TIME. THE REPRESENTATIVE APPEARED RUDE, SO I APOLOGIZED FOR THE INCONVENIENCE OF CONTACTING THEM FOR POTENTIAL BUSINESS. I WAS VERY SURPRISED TO FIND A VENDOR ON ANGIE'S LIST WHO DID NOT APPEAR TO BE INTERESTED IN PROVIDING AN ESTIMATE FOR A SKYLIGHT REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT JOB. ALTHOUGH HE MADE ME AWARE OF THE HOURLY RATE ASSOCIATED WITH TRAVEL FROM PALATINE TO CHICAGO AND I OFFERED TO PAY FOR THAT TIME, THE REPRESENTATIVE WAS COMPLETELY UNINTERESTED. I'LL SPEND MY MONEY ELSEWHERE.

PROFESSIONAL, START TO FINISH! A TREMENDOUS PLEASURE TO WORK WITH. ABSOLUTELY NO SURPRISES. EVERYTHING WENT OFF WITHOUT A HITCH. INVOICE WAS ACCURATE. WAIVER OF LIEN WAS ALREADY PREPARED AND NOTARIZED. AWESOME SERVICE COMPANY TO WORK WITH.
