Sure Green Landscape & Firewood Unlimited

I ordered online and paid online, but did not get a response. I emailed and still no response. I ended up calling and found out they were having trouble with the website and then they delivered that same day. The website said that the wood would be stacked but it was just dumped in the middle of my driveway. Luckily my son was home and able to move it before I got home from work. Very nice people though and great price so I would order from them again. I will probably just call next time.

Always friendly and professional on the phone when I call to order firewood. They deliver when promised, and do a great job of dumping the wood right where I want it, on the extra driveway, The wood is well seasoned, and always burns well.

The wood was delivered at the appointed time. The delivery man was friendly and courteous. The firewood appears to be of high quality. I am impressed with the variety of seasoned firewood that Sure Green has available for purchase: cherry, birch, hickory, oak, mixed hardwoods. When I next need firewood, I will call Sure Green once again.

Very Poor Quality Sure Green Landscape describes their Playmat Mulch as "ASTM certified hardwood from 100% virgin tree stock". The mulch delivered to us contained various pieces plastic and foil, all about the same size indicating that this trash went through the schreder with the wood. There was even a piece of a plastic disposable razor. I sent Sure Green Landscape photos of this. I spoke with Scott, the manager who told me I was wrong. He said there was no way that they delivered contaminated mulch.

The wood was delivered on time when promised. They are unfailingly courteous. The wood was of good quality and of "stove" length (13" or less) on all but the last occasion. We had ordered a face cord of stove length mixed hardwood, and about a third of it was more than 13" long, which made it difficult to use in our stove. We were able to cut it up, but it was inconvienient. Other than that, no problems whatsoever. Good quality wood for burning.

Found Sure Green on Angies List after finding out my last firewood vendor was out of firewood in January, 2014. Called Sure Green and made my purchase with a very courteous and professional staff person. She advised the wood would be delivered within the next 24-48 hours and they would call the night before. Well I didn't receive a call, perhaps because they had an incorrect area code number, but the wood was delivered, neatly stacked and covered and the site cleaned up the very next morning while I was at work. I came home for lunch to find everything nice and clean. I will use this firm again.

I found Sure Green and Firewood Unlimited on Angie's List after getting a price quote from a well-known Fox Valley firewood and mulch supplier. I called Sure Green because they were local and I needed a second price to gauge the first quote we received. The employee who answered my call at Sure Green was polite, professional, and very knowledgeable. She recommended the Cherry, Birch and Hickory mix. The price was better than our initial quote and there was no delivery charge, since we are local as well. The wood was delivered the next day, and it was put in the exact spot we requested. We have had many fires in our fireplace since December 17th. The wood smells great and burns well. We will absolutely order more wood from Sure Green in the future and highly recommend them to our friends.

Ordering was easy and professional. Delivery was fast. The crew stacked the wood in the rear of my house very neatly. Wood is very dry and burns well.

They were even a bit early for our appointment. The job was done perfectly, and he even gave us advice on how to enrich our soil in the garden. Which worked beautifully.

From the person answering the phones to the guys who brought the wood, everything they did was very friendly and very professional. Even though we called fairly late in the season, they were very accommodating and the whole experience went smoothly from start to finish. We will definitely be using their services again and would recommend them to anyone wanting firewood.

Firewood was delivered when they said it would be, they called in advance, just before they arrived. They neatly stacked the wood, and performed in a neat and efficient and professional manner. So far, no complaints on the firewood. It seems to be burning nicely. When I called to inquire about pricing, the man on the other end of the phone was professional and knowledgeable about wood. I would use them again. Thank you.

After contacting (as in leaving messages on the voicemail but never hearing from them) seven landscapers, Ryan at Sure Green not only answered the phone but took a message and passed it on to Bill, just as he said he would. I discussed the project with Bill, he made me aware of the various types of mulches they had available and directed me to their website so I could see what they carried. I then followed up with Bill, with input from him about the pros and cons of the various mulches for this project, I made my decision and we processed the order which also included additional an area behind my garage. On the scheduled day of installment, the assigned crew arrived promptly at 9:00 am with a truck "loaded" with cedar mulch, "neatly" wheelbarrowed it from the truck to the play area at the back of the yard (not far but not easy) and spread the material - making the whole yard look great. They worked steadily and finished before noon. It was just great - neat, clean, refreshed!

I have purchased firewood from this distributor for years and have had one previous occasion to complain about the delivery of wood which won't burn. And they replaced it without question. The second time, this year, when the wood wouldn't burn well. Does seasoned oak sizzle and smoulder when it burns? They promised a bundle of kindling to make up for the inconvenience. But all that was delivered was enough firewood to replace what was remaining or about 80% of the original order. And no kindling. No kidding. I didn't expect a refund but a replacement of the product which didn't deliver. Instead I got partial satisfaction. The new wood burns well, less what was promised, the kindling, for more than 75 cents a piece after delivery and stacking fees.

Called for an estimate, the receptionist was very knowledgeable on prices and types of woods they had in stock. We agreed to order a mix of half birch and half oak for a next day delivery (Saturday). They called on Saturday, and arrived as promised 45 minutes later. We didn't pay for stacking, so he dumped it in our backyard as agreed. The oak was in pretty good shape, but the birch was still a little wet on the inside. It still burns, but gives off some steam.

Polite, wood was seasoned well, burns excellent with little smoke.

Work was done 2 days early. All work specified in estimate was done and quality of work was good. Owner, Scott indicated that he had used workers from another of his companies called Lawns and Mower which did not impact quality at all.

Delivery was on time and driver was very polite. he took the time to confirm where I wanted the load dropped and put it exactly where I specified.

TIMELY DELIVERY. WOOD BURNS GOOD. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

THE DELIVERY MAN WAS POLITE AND ONCE HE KNEW WHERE TO STACK THE WOOD HE WENT ABOUT GETTING THE JOB DONE. HE AND HIS PARTNER COMPLETED THE JOB IN LESS THAN 30 MINUTES.
