SERVPRO OF ELGIN

Unless you are 100 percent sure you are doing business with this company, do not let them even do an estimate. My basement flooded, they came to my house to do an estimate. NO work was done and they charged me 1000 dollars. They stated I signed paperwork promising I would use their company and that money would go towards the work. In the midst of chaos, this very well may have happened and I take blame for not reading fine print, but it was not explained properly. When you have something happen to you home, you rely on these companies and insurance to help, not to take advantage. Such a gross company to take advantage of people during these times. Their excuse was that the 1000 dollars was to cover all the hard work the estimate took. As if they don't get paid hourly already. Just beware of this company and read, read, read before you sign. I would hate for anyone to have to lose money like I did

The technicians were very polite and knowledgeable. They steam cleaned our carpets as well as used a "roto" to do a deep brush cleaning of the carpets. The carpets looked AMAZING! The carpets were dry later that day which was a nice bonus. I would highly recommend them to our friends.

Cleaned dryer vents

They immediately set up several super drying fans that were left on 24/7 for 24hours. They called and returned the next afternoon. They checked all the are with a moisture guage and all was dry. They then applied a a demolding agent. The crew chief was Frankie Hughes and in the beginning and several times during he explained everything to us and showed us what they were doing. He was very professional and answered all our questions.The crew cleaned up after themselves very well as they worked. We were very pleased with this Servpro team that we had and the service they provided. Thanks to Frankie and his team. We the had to have another company come in and repair the foundation crack.

I can't remember the exact date and the exact amount - however, these guys were great. I wasn't satisfied after the first and quot;swipe/cleaningand quot; of the walls, so the team redid the entire job - it just needed a second cleaning (even after they told me that the room might need repainted - in the estimate). They didn't complain, they handled my question/complaint with sheer grace, and re-did the job. For someone who wasn't happy the first time, they made it right without making me feel guilty and without making me feel bad about complaining - they were truly amazing, and I will use them in the future. They also cleaned the carpets - did a good decent/good job. I highly recommend them for anything you need done as they showed up on time, were super friendly, and were open to ideas, suggestions and were flexible.
