This company has been to my property multiple times over the past 5 years, as all my large Blue Spruce trees all caught a mite disease and slowly died. He has also removed a couple of other trees of different species. Jeff, the owner, is the absolute best guy to work with. I talked to many different services prior to selecting JSR Enterprises, and it's the best decision I could have made given the amount of work that I needed. Everytime Jeff has removed a tree from the property you can't tell that anything happened in the yard except that the tree is gone. He leaves the yard impeccable and without damage or debris from the tree removal. I have 11 trees removed over the past 5 years with Jeff and every time is the same great experience. Pricing is the best I have found among professionals providing this service. You won't be disappointed when you call this company. Highly recommend.

I had a small stump that needed removal. They came promptly to take a look, had the right number and could do it the next day. He followed up his visit with an estimate and insurance certificate via email. I could barely tell he was there at all. Cleaned up the site very nicely and did a great job. Not a single speck of stray dirt.

JSR did a great job on our trees. A lot of companies do great work, but to me, the big issue is communication. We had issues with other companies either not responding to our request for a quote, not informing us of a plan change or coming in too high on the price. JSR was awesome with their communication. There ended up being a delay and they were quick to inform us of the schedule change. Definitely a pleasure to deal with. They even came out on Labor day to do the work.

Jeff knows his business. He came out to quote the job within 36hrs of my first phone call. He gave an honest assessment and suggested I skip some trimming that he felt wasn't necessary, though his competitors pushed me to add it in. Jeff and his crew showed up on time, got right to it. They were flexible and added a few last minute cuts at my request. They went above and beyond and cleaned up a few areas we missed during the walk through at no additional charge. Jeff was here for the entire job to supervise his crew. They left the yard and roof cleaner than it was when they arrived. I'm really glad I decided to go with JSR over some of the other companies that quoted me.

Jeff was very flexible about scheduling. We had other work to do first and he worked with our schedule. Then he showed up when we needed him. He cut the bushes off at the ground and then ground the stumps. He did it very carefully without damaging two gas lines in the work area. Finally he cleaned up the grindings. I would hire him again in a minute!!!!!!

The JSR team arrived on time. Within 2 1/2 hours a very large fully grown tree was down, the stump ground out, and all debris removed. Except for a pile of (usable) wood chip/much from the tree stump you'd never know the tree had existed or that a team of 3 using very large equipment were ever on the property. Thanks JSR team.

Jeff and his crew did a great job with all services requested. Shaping of existing shrubs was very well done. Created a new planting area and it turned out great! Finished everything in 1 day. Completed work by requested date. Cleaned up nicely when work was complete. Easy to work with. Responded in a timely manner whenever I contacted him.

Jeff and his team did a fantastic job. Even though all the rain we have had postponed the work, it was well worth the wait. Came home from work and the yard looked great. We will call him next time we need the work done.

I had a large Box Elder tree that was intertwined into Power lines. The tree was dying and needed to be removed. It was in the back of my property and difficult to get to with machinery, but Jeff and his crew were able to do so, without destroying my lawn or landscaping along the way. I have used Jeff many times for tree removals as I had a yard full of diseased mature trees. His work and execution are always flawless, and this time was no different even though it was the most challenging removal of all. Jeff skills are second to none in this area, and his pricing is very competitive- I usually pay him more than he quotes because of his impeccable work. He leaves the yard in the same condition or better every time. If you need a tree removed, this is the guy to call- you won't regret it.

Jeff and crew showed up with the right equipment to do a big residential job. It involved our two neighbors yards as well but all equipment stayed in our yard. Jeff and crew worked very hard and got the job done in 1 day. We asked for chips to be left (15 yards) and specific lengths of trunks to be cut later for friends firewood. They were careful with the equipment and left minimal lawn damage. We got other bids but we chose Jeff because he is local, a licensed and insured arborist and gave a fair bid for our work.

Jeff was really nice and professional. He arrived early for our consultation appointment and, was very knowledgeable of the type of plants we had. We didn’t know much about the plants. He provided lots of options for our fall clean up and replacing items in the spring. Jeff didn’t pressure me during my decision making process. He followed up with me and got the job started the following week. They were fast and got the job done well. I’ll definitely contact them in the Spring.

Jeff is very friendly and spent a lot of time talking to us about what we wanted and provided ideas for us to consider. After getting the estimate we had more questions so he came back again to talk more and make adjustments. They finished the job in 1 day and we are very happy with the results.

I have used them for the last 2 years for spring cleanup. He also does my snow plowing. He cleaned out all my flower beds, put down new mulch. He did a very nice job.

Had me send pictures. would not come to look at the job even tho located probably 5 miles away. If job was too small for him to be bothered by should state only big jobs. waste of my time

JSR Enterprises did an excellent job of edging my flower beds and fixing landscaping stone wall. They responded and provided a fair estimate very quickly. There was excellent communication on when they would be able to fit me into their schedule. The job was done perfectly. The edging was very clean and my landscaping brinks are finally now sinking into the ground. I would highly recommend them and I will use them in the future.

I hired Jeff to clear my driveway and sidewalks of snow after my back surgery in Sept. He was paid $350.00 in advance for the season. I stressed to him how important it was that he clear the snow and ice as early in the day as possible to give me stable footing to be able to make it to my car so I can leave for work by 5:00 a.m. He was supposed to come out with each 2" snowfall until the end of the season. After I hired him, we had three snow events but he didn't show up until he had taken care of his commercial accounts on the mornings of Dec. 14 & 17 after I had called and begged him to do the work I had already paid him to do. He never showed up at all on Sunday, Dec. 18, so my equally disabled spouse and I had to clear the driveway and walks ourselves with great difficulty so I could get to work safely the next day. On the first day he came to shovel, he complained that the job had a lot more pavement than he thought and he should have charged more. I would like to note that he told me that he came out to look at the property before he quoted me the high price initially so he should have known exactly what I wanted cleared. If there was any question about it, he also had access to my phone number as well as Google earth to view conditions. He also said he lived in West Dundee not too far from my house so he should have been familiar with the lot sizes in the older section of town especially when we're not on a corner lot. He really should have taken care of the advance paid customers first and then the customers that were paying him per snow event later. Obviously, I am very disappointed with Jeff Richardson as well as Angie's List for this referral. I was counting on him to do my lawn and garden from spring to fall but I think I'll hire someone with a better work ethic and more honesty for that job because I don't like having to micromanage people to do the job that they are hired to do. Adults should know how to work without supervision especially when it's their own business! I also changed 'Professionalism' to an 'F', due to the provider leaving a voicemail on my phone following the review being left. In the response left, he mentioned that we had agreed to his terms and the original contract, however he said that he would be able to work with us due to our situation with our surgeries/disabilities. He also said that we had more visits than any other client he had, however I find that hard to believe because he was only out here twice.

Work was done on time. One item missed, made a call and that item was completed promptly. Will definitely use this service provider again. Work was done in spring of 2016.

It is nearing the end of December, and so far we have been very pleased. I will evaluate the price they charged after the snow has stopped falling since I paid a flat rate. The price seems high, but if we get a lot of snow, it may balance out.

Jeff and his team did a phenomenal job cleaning up our landscaping! I reached out to JSR Enterprises and there response was quick! Jeff came out the same week to take a look at everything, provided a quote within 24 hours as well as a recommendation on what to clean-up and what to remove. Unlike other company's (who told me everything needed to go) his feedback was honest which was extremely helpful because I knew nothing about landscaping. He and his team came out the following week to begin the work and they were very professional and hard-working. The walked me through everything they were going to do as well as showed me all the plants and made sure I was happy with the selection. I was looking for low-maintenance colorful plants and bushes and that is exactly what I got. The landscaping looked beautiful when they were done! I highly recommend!
