Higel Heating & Air Conditioning

I'm surprised that this company does not have any prior reviews. Higel Heating and Air is a small privately owned company that has been around for decades, and Randy Higel is the owner. I have an older home and have used many contractors in the last 12 years to replace, repair and renovate my house. By, far, I have been most impressed with the product and service provided by this company. All appointments were punctual, personable and professional., Randy patiently discussed at some length the pro's and cons of all models available, until we came upon a choice and price point. Within a few days, I was mailed a very detailed written estimate....wasn't the lowest or the highest estimate that I received, but very fair. Installation went great, but my older home provided some unique challenges for drilling the outdoor ventilation through 12" of 100 year old oak silling set at a very unusual height.. Randy went above and beyond to find a rare drill bit and even had his engineer father evaluate the situation. It took them an extra day of work and he still honored his quoted price to me. Anyone with a 100 year old home knows that it takes a special contractor at times when issues like this pop up. While reviewing the completed permitted installation, The city inspector commented to me on what a fine job Higel Heating & Air had done. He said that he'd seen their work before and it was always top notch. If you're looking for a company that takes care and pride in it's product and service, and treats it's customer's with respect and professionalism; this company has it by the boatload. What a pleasure it was for me to find such a business.

He is a little way away from me, but I know that I can depend on him. He is a good guy. He does work for my parents as well and always does a great job.
