After reading reviews of house cleaning services on Angie's List, my husband and I hired Eco Cleaning. They came within the week to provide an estimate, and then provided their cleaning services the following week. When I returned home after they were done, there were still noticeable dirt particles on my kitchen floor, bathroom floor, and guest bedroom floor. Since my bathroom floor is white tile, it was very noticeable that little care was taken to ensure that the tile was free of dirt and hair. Also, instead of wiping down the baseboards in my bathroom, the cleaning crew managed to get some blank gunk on my white trim that I had to use a magic eraser to wipe off. There were also still cobwebs in the corners of my kitchen floors. In addition, I was able to sweep up a significant amound of hair and dirt from my hardwood stairs. Also in the kitchen, the stainless steel appliances were spotty and poorly cleaned - there was still grim on the handles. When I went to do my laundry three days later, I noticed a bag full of sopping wet rags that they had failed to tell me was there. They had used my cleaning rags (which is fine), but had failed to tell me that they had done so, and had instead just shoved them sopping wet back into the storage bag. On a positive note, my shower was very clean, as well as my bathroom sink. They also did a great job thoroughly vacumning the carpet, removing all lint particles.

After reading the reviews here, I called about having Eco Cleaning MSLD clean our home. Dagmara was very responsive and walked us through the house explaining what would be cleaned. They charge per person, per hour, and we were told our cost would be $120 per visit. There was no extra charge for the first visit or for our pets. Dagmara did explain that it would take 2-3 visits for the house really to get clean and then it became more of a maintenance type thing. We signed up for every other week cleanings. My husband and I work from home and are therefore in the house during the cleaning. The first visit the ladies worked very hard for a combined 6 hours and did a great job. They were unbothered at all by our 2 dogs and cat, which was great. The ladies stopped and asked for help to retrieve one of my bracelets that had been accidentally vacuumed. I appreciated that, as I might not have even noticed it was gone. As expected, there were things that were missed, but we were hopeful for the second visit. For example, the microwave wasn't cleaned, some cobwebs were left, some dusting didn't get done, but we understood this would be the case. The second visit the ladies again worked for a combined 6 hours. I wasn't able to review what they had done before they left and was a bit disappointed. Many of the things Dagmara had said would be cleaned were not. Again, the microwave wasn't cleaned, nor the small appliances. The ceiling fans weren't dusted. And most important to me, the master bath stall shower still looked a bit grimy. I considered looking for another company, but then decided to call and talk with Dagmara. I am so glad I did. I told her my concerns and explained which parts of the house were most important to me. She assured me next time would be better and asked if it was okay to use chemicals in the shower stall. I said yes. The third visit was right before my mother-in-law was coming. They did a great job. Not one complaint! They have since been for a fourth visit and I so happy with them. I wish I had called them years ago. What I like most: They are on time. They are not bothered by nor charge extra for the pets. They have 3 ladies come clean, so they are in our home just 2 hours. They clean things I never did, like dust the blinds. Dagmara is very responsive and available by text message. I'll continue to keep in touch with Dagmara if I see things that need attention, but I think that is something you have to do with any cleaning company.

I have been using ECO for a number of months now and could not be happier. Dagmara (sp?) came out to provide an estimate and explained everything the ladies were going to cover. Everything was great!. The second or third cleaning I did call Dagmara just to discuss how I prefer a certain area cleaned. That is all part of the team getting used to your house and you working with them to discuss your preferences. Not an issue. Everything is cleaned perfectly. They have a great group of ladies working at Eco. They are on-time, nice, and respectful of your home. I work from home and every time before the ladies leave they ask if everything is ok. I never have to check their work, but I know if I did and found something that needed a touch up I know they would take care of it immediately. I am very happy with Eco and know this will be a long business relationship.

Eco Cleaning has been cleaning my home for the last several months. They do a very good job and clean all the little things that would normally be missed. The girls that clean are quick and quiet and are very respectful of my daughters nap time. The only slightly negative thing is that I do not consistently have the same cleaning people each time. It has changed several times and this leads to consistence issues, but only little things like where the vacuum is and where supplies are.I will continue to use them and would say that they are the best housecleaning service I have had!

Eco Cleaning arrived promptly at 12:30 to clean today, Friday. This was their second time cleaning our home. We were extremely pleased with the first cleaning, doing everything they promised, and more. But what made the second cleaning very different was the the company owner (Dagmara) stayed with the girls to clean also! In all my years, with all the companies I have used, I have NEVER seen the owner roll up her sleeves and get down and dirty. She said she's done this many times before and just enjoys cleaning. Wow! The job all 3 girls did that day was phemonenal. No cobwebs, inside and outside of cabinet doors wiped down, even places I didn't know to look were cleaned (yeah, I know, a guy). The bottom line is that I couldn't recommend this company high enough. If you're tired of getting the runaround with cleaning companies, you've found your place with Eco Cleaning.

The first week's cleaning was thorough. The second week, the job was good, but not as thorough. There were a few spots where the dusting was not as crisp as it had been the week before. The third week, my nanny and son were home when the crew arrived. There were 3 people who arrived at 5:15pm and left at 6:15pm. They took my check for 5 hours even though they only worked for 3 (ECO charges by the person-hour). After they left, I then noticed that there were cobwebs in the living room and the upstairs hallway had not been vacuumed. The fourth week I left a check for 3 hours work, figuring that Dagmara would contact me about the overpayment. She did, but she stated that the crew had been there the previous week for 4.5 hours and so that I owed her money. I explained that I had witnesses but her head cleaner kept insisting they were there for longer. Eventually she agreed not to dispute the hours, but I can't get over the fact that even if the crew HAD been there for 4.5 hours, I paid for 5 hours and no offer was made to reimburse me or to give a credit for the next cleaning. Dagmara offered to call me each week to tell me when the crew arrived and when they left, but I did not feel I could trust them to tell her the truth about their job hours, so I canceled the service . I think Dagmara does her best to represent what the crew is doing and how they will clean, but her teams are not trustworthy. They barrelled through my house on the last 2 visits. It is very disappointing to have the quality of care drop off so dramatically and so quickly, especially after such a good first impresssion.

When they came out for an estimate, the estimator did a very nice job. She was a very nice person and seemed very knowledgeable. They came back to me with the estimate in a timely manner. The actual cleaning ladies are very personable. They do not speak a lot of English, but they always have somebody with them that speaks enough English to communicate, so we are fine. They do a good job with the cleaning. They come in, work hard, get the job done and are out; there is no messing around. I think they have been here three times so far; we just started with them last month. We spend $120 every second week; their price is comparable. They have always been on time; they are here when they say they are going to be here, which is good. We would recommend them to others. We would use them again in the future assuming that everything continues the way it has been so far.

I'm very happy - we used to go with another woman but she became less and less reliable, so I searched out new companies. We're going to go with Eco Cleaning once a month starting now, and I'm already looking forward to their next visit! We have many antiques in our home and they were very careful around these - they treated the things as if they were their own. Maggie and Dagmara are both great.

Dagmara and her staff are thorough in their cleaning and comminication issues have improved. I highly recommend these folks.

My experience was excellent. Dagmara was immediately response. She showed up for an estimate within a few days and the price was reasonable. They have followed up with our agreed schedule as planned. The quality of their work exceed my expectations. Dagmara continues to be responsive and professional in all of her communications. I am very pleased with her services and would recommend them to anyone else.

Dagmara promptly returned my initial call for service. She came out to take a look at my house and determine how much time it would take to clean it and what the charge would be. She was very personable and professional. The two ladies that came out to clean on the date listed above did an incredible job. I was told that they would clean everything they touched and they did exactly that. The cabinets and drawers cleaned, the door moldings cleaned, the floorboardscleaned, all the knick-knacks dusted. They have continued to do a great job every time since their initial visit. After the first deep clean, I now pay $120.00 for each time they clean; every other week. What a wonderful company!

They did a great job. It just wasn't cost effective. The price was a tad high. That was the only problem with them.

The first time I had my home cleaned the crew was late by almost an hour. No problem for me since I was home for the day. The second time they were an hour early! Very professional, very thorough. I would like it if I could have the same team of girls each time. It would enable me to develop a rapport with them and save time and energy. Overall great company. I plan to use them again and again.

I can't even begin to say enough positive things about this company, its owners and its employees. The estimate was provided by a young woman who was very professional. A cleaning date was set up for today and a team of 3 women arrived at the scheduled time. I have used two other cleaning services in the past year and never has my home been cleaner that after ECO finished te job. I can honestly recommend this company and rate them as the best cleaning service I have dealt with. A great overall job. 5/10/2011 Service today was totally unacceptable. We have gone from originally 3 women cleaning my home and doing a outstanding job to todays assignment of 1 woman who's job performance was unacceptable. 1 middle aged woman who did not speak english was dropped off at my home this morning. I'm always in the home when it is being cleaned and while I was on the main floor of my home she began to clean the upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms. I found it unusual that I never heard any of the water running in my shower or bathtubs, sinks while she was "cleaning" upstairs. After the cleaning lady came downstairs I proceeded upstairs to inspect the bathrooms etc and what I found really upset me. I noticed that the chrome shower head and water handles in both showers still had old water spots on them and were never even touched by this woman! I noticed that the bathtub still had a film of grime on it. None of the shower heads were even turned on. The chrome frame of the shower stall was dirty and never touched. I contacted the owner of Eco who apologized and sent over Magge the manager. When Maggie arrived at my home I showed her the problem areas and she becan to speak in Polish to the other woman regarding the problems. Maggie had to gut both bathrooms and cleaned them from scratch which took additional time. While it's great that ECO jumped to corect the problems my concern is that had I not been home to address the issues on the spot, what would have been done. After the women left my home I noticed that both paper shredder baskets were not emptied. This again was the responsability of the initial cleaning woman and has always been done in the past however it was overlooked today. I called ECO and informed the owner of this overlooked issue and she thanked me. I'm not too sure if I will be using this service again as they have really declined. UPDATE I was contacted by the owner of the company ans she asked to set up another applintment where she could actually come over to my home and discuss the service provided on my last visit. She arrived on time a few days later and truely was concerned about the service given and wanted to make everything right. This is a woman and owner of a company who really cares about the customers satisfaction. I agreed to give Eco another shot at cleaning the house and I'm happy that I did. Once again as in the first few months, the women who came over did a outstanding job on the house. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the level of service remains the same and if it does, they have a perminant customer. I would again recommend Eco for house cleaning.

They have been cleaning my house for the last 3 weeks. They clean every week. They do a fantastic job. The people that come work together and clean together. They are very thorough.

We recieved what we felt was a fair quote for the cleaning schedule and proceeded forward with Eco Cleaning.
