+ -1 moreWe had a minor ant problem that we had tried to treat ourselves but we kept on finding more ants. We called BA, they were very responsive and came out within a couple of days of the call. We weren't quoted anything on the phone as far as price but I had an idea of what they might charge from other Angie's List posts. We never had used a pest control company before so I assumed that they'd do an inspection to identify any potential problem areas but they did not...probably a good thing to ask prior to their coming out. The guy showed up on time and finished spraying inside and out within about 15 or 20 minutes. Overall a good experience.

+ -1 moreOverall, I was very satisfied with the work. Doug came in on time Monday morning and did a through inspection on the problem. He is very professional. He explained in detail about the possible causes, proper treatments, and the future outcomes. He charged me $165 on the job, which I think is reasonable. After that, he found out I have a mice problem down in the basement, too. He then spent an hour to inspect, put baits around, and explain to me how to eliminate such problem forever. The tips he gave me worth more than $20 he charged me on the baits at the end.

+ -1 moreThey did a thorough job and gave detailed explanation of the method. They explained the prep work I needed to do ahead of time to remove certain items from my home so no damage would be done. Their pricing is middle of the road but I don t remember the total.
Description of Work: They tented my entire 2200 square foot home for termites. There was evidence of termites and following the treatment, I have not seen anymore tracings.

+ -1 moreGood job. Appointment was set. Doug from Bugs Anonymous called as requested to say he was on the way...was on time and did his job very professionally. Doug answered questions, made suggestions and, best of all, we haven't seen an ant since he was here.
Description of Work: Tiny ants would periodically gather in and around the kitchen sink -- never a big infestation (three to a dozen was typical) but after two months of trying household sprays, etc. that didn't work, a professional pest control company seemed to be a better solution.

+ -1 moreVery well, the contractor arrived within the time frame promised, was pleasant and available to questions I had about the process and what I had been finding in my home as well as reassuring that the work he was doing would take care of the problems.
Description of Work: Had my home sprayed inside and out and had the contractor do a termite inspection on a home that I had listed (I am a Realtor). The charge for the termite inspection was $100.00, slightly less than I was quoted which made my clients happy!

+ -1 moreWonderful response and services were just as described by users on Angie's List! Called the company and they got back to me the next day and were out the following day. Betty arrived at exactly the time I was given, was very professional, answered my questions and completed the service very promptly. She told me if I continued to see the ants after 7-10 days to call and they would come back out and repeat the treatment. I did continue to see ants, called and Betty was sent out again the following day. She did repeat the application and I have had no problems since. I am extremely pleased with the service and the professional and prompt manner in which they responded and will definitely use them again (if needed) and have already recommended them to others. I have had a couple of bad experiences with pest control companies in the past which is why I joined Angie's List; it was well worth it if I never use it again. Bugs Anonymous is a terrific resource!!
Description of Work: I began seeing ants on the first level on my home in February and was a little freaked out over it. I though it was just a fluke, but after returning from a business trip a week later, my daughter told me she had been seeing them also. The situation continued to escalate from there; we began seeing dozens of them every day and the area we saw them in was expanding. That is when I decided it could not be normal. I had just read about Angie's List and decided to try it after having had a bad pest control experience the prior year. I experienced a similar problem the year before, called a pest control company and was told they were carpenter within seconds of walking in the front door. They proceeded to tell me it would cost $1500-2000 to take care of by drilling holes in all my walls; all of this with no guarantee. Neighbors assured me they were no carpenter ants and to try spraying myself which I did with moderate success. This year came and it started again so I called BUGS.

+ -1 moreAs always, Bugs Anonymous is great to work with. Debbie is very capable and answers all questions. We thought we had termites in the shutters in the shed out in back, Debbie said that termites are rather rare out here and it was probably ants pushing away soft, rotted wood. She offered to spray back there also. She said that if in 10 days we saw any more spiders, etc, to call and they would come back out for free. The cost of $165 covers for 6 months and they will come out as often as needed during that time at no charge.
Description of Work: Sprayed house for spiders, bugs, etc. Basement, main floor, upstairs, outside porch around the shed in back.

+ -1 moreWasps had found openings in my exterior woodwork and had built nests inside. BA was able to send a technician out the following day. I was pleased when she called prior to her arrival window that day and offered to come by early because the prior job was done earlier than planned. I appreciated the courtesy of the call instead of her simply showing up unexpectedly. When she arrived, she listened patiently as I pointed out the trouble spots. She had all the necessary equipment and chemicals ready, and treated the nests to my satisfaction. She didn t try to sell me a whole house treatment or anything else I didn t need. She also asked me to monitor the treated areas and call her if any further spraying was needed, it would be done at no extra charge. The treated areas were guaranteed for the remainder of the insect season. She did a professional job at a fair price.

The next day I still saw ants, and while the receptionist told me it might take a week or so for the product to be entirely effective, because of the wedding, I really wanted a return visit. John came that very afternoon pleasant as could be. I really appreciated how punctual and responsive he and his office were.
