The service was great, I text the provider a few pictures of my furnace and he send someone out the next day. I was not at home but the service provider spoke to me over the phone and told me how to take care of my product. The

Tim was fantastic. I called needing a deal on a new AC unit and Tim responded right away and arrived the next day to install. All went well and now my family and I can enjoy the summer. No BS. No up-sells. Can't say enough good things about the experience. Will definitley use again.

Had a 6:00 appointment, called the owner Tim at about 6:45 when the tech failed to show. He said he should be there shortly. Received a call from the tech shortly thereafter who said he would arrived in about 15 minutes. Waited another 45 minutes and called the owner Tim. He ended up offering to do it for free a few days later, which I felt was more than fair. The gentleman that came out did a good job. He arrived early. Despite the initial problem, would strongly consider using in the future.

Excellent service from the time we contacted Tim, to the time everything was done. Fair price, good quality work, great clean up, and everything works amazing now after replacing our 20 year old systems. VERY highly recommended!!!

It went great. Tim and company really stood by their work. There were a few tweaks that needed to be done to the HVA system but they came back and made them, no questions asked. I also have little kids and Tim and company have been very patient with my kids, cleaned up well and have simply been a joy to be around. I would highly recommend Tim and American Family. A+++++ Rating!

Nick took his time and determined the problem with our furnace. He was very thorough in his explanation. He performed the furnace cleaning, checked to make sure the furnace was functioning properly and cleaned everything up. The bill was for the exact amount quoted over the phone. The service was professional, friendly, timely and there were no surprises. We were very satisfied.

They were on time, provided the service and answered the question that I had for him.

It was good but they had to come back because of a leak in the system during the install and we were without AC for a bit. But they came back and resolved that.

I emailed this company. He called the next day and we spoke about my concerns. He decided to come out himself instead of sending another technician. He showed up on time and got right to work. He looked at the duct and the screen and attempted to reattach it but it couldn't be done properly because there was no part to hold on to the screen. He said it was too late because the ceiling was already done. I liked that he tried to fix it and didn't charge me because it wasn't able to be fixed. He did clean the furnace. I was impressed that the owner came out himself and attempted to fix the register.

Tim was responsive initially to my initial request. We set up an appointment for 9:00 AM today. Tim blew off the appointment without a courtesy call. He did call about an hour after the scheduled appointment wanting to know if it was all right to come over at that time. I question to him as to why he missed our appointed time and he responded that he had went longer with another customer and that he didn't think it was an issue since I would be home all day. At that point, I told him that I was no longer interested in his services.

Technician arrived on time as promised, quickly diagnosed and resolved issue (broken wire), and then thoroughly checked unit. Other vendor had come out and recommended replacement - glad we went with American Family Heating & AC!

Tim and his assistant worked rapidly, but carefully, to remove the old furnace, install the new one, test it and then clean up the furnace area in the basement. In addition they were able to put the furnace-mounted humidifier back in operation. Not only was Tim and his assistant prompt, courteous and professional, they explained everything clearly and exceeded my expectations by installing a new furnace on a Sunday morning!

I would like to preface my statement by saying this company was recommended to me by my family member who has used this company regularly and has not yet had their AC unit replaced - their unit is 21 years old. I was having problems with my upstairs AC unit not cooling properly and called out to American Family for the first time with a service call thinking that the unit may only need repair (maybe needing freon or a leak as the blower motor seemed to still be working, just no cool air). It turned out to be the compressor. I elected not to replace the units compressor due to the age of the unit itself. The company rep suggested that we also replace the heating unit upstairs due to its age and noting the complications we were having at the end of the winter season (he did check it as well). He stated it would be cheaper to do both than one at a time, but also stated it was completely my choice. Knowing about this company from other relatives they do try to repair and/or resolve your HVAC issues first. However, my AC was beyond a reasonable repair. I asked for a bid without the heating unit and with the AC and heating. The quotes were individually fair and I elected to do the later (with heat and AC). They scheduled immediately with owner Tim. They were able to install the next day, but I elected 2 days later. I only paid for the service call at this point and they accepted my coupon. The service guys arrived timely. It was an extremely hot day (roughly 99 degrees), but the workers stayed all day installing both units until everything was satisfactory. They were pleasant and explained everything in detail. They cleaned up after themselves, taking the old units. There was very little residual left behind and considering they worked so long and it was so hot they were respectful and completed the job as stated. A part was missing during install, but it was immediately resolved as it was brought by someone else from the company, in turn, leaving them to continue working rather than leaving and coming back. I was very pleased overall and will use them again.

They scheduled the day around my needs and arrived on time and finished the same day. I was very imprssed by the quality and friendliness of their technicians. The price was quite a bit better than a few others that quoted my work. Overall they are hard to beat.

He was very good. I had some company coming from out of town and my air conditioning wasn't working. He came that day to fix it. He knows what he is doing. He gets the job done. He came within 1/2 hour of my phone call because he was in the area. He got my air conditioner going right away. It was really hot that day. He took care of it right away. He could have tried to tell me it was the compressor or something, but he didn't. He was prompt, he did a good job, and he was fair. He installed a furnace and air conditioner at my mother's house as well. He did a good job there too. He was here previously to try and quiet down my air conditioning, but nothing seemed to work too well. He was really good on the installation, but I thought he was a little high on the repair.

Initial estimate was scheduled with no problem, they took the time to answer all the questions I had about the furnace replacement. I received estimated from 6 other HVAC companies and American Family was basically the lowest, but I also felt comfortable with the level of knowledge and experience that was conveyed at the estimate. I scheduled the install and was a bit disappointed that the installers did not show until 10 am or so, but that was not a big problem as I had assumed the job would take all day. The job took longer than expected (past 7pm) and the installer wound up having to replace an entire part of the intake duct work that he did not expect to, but in the end the unit and ductwork looked clean and sturdy and well intalled. The owner called for a follow up appointment and he came in to look at the install and make sure all the settings were correct on the furnace. He answered any questions I had at that time. All in all a good experience with a good company
