We called for a basement drywall quote. Tom came out 3 or more weeks ago. He never called back or emailed us a quote. Never heard from him again.

It was a good experience, it's just that it was a very high quote. his professionalism was great, he was very professional - I just thought the price was a little high.

They are probably not the cheapest but you tend to get what you pay for and if you use this company, you will not have to worry about your project being done correctly. With that said, the project went very smoothly. All appointments were kept, the crew was careful, clean, and respectful. The company and employees did an outstanding job and I would highly recommend them. I have used them for other minor work and will continue to use them going forward.

They did fine. They did a good job. I liked them. The workers were courteous. Everything is holding up good. It was a bit too pricey.

Called back and the job was finished right away, everything went great, we would not call anyone else for drywall repair.

Tom visited the site prior to quoting. He spent a fair amount of time assessing the project and discussing the details. The key motivator in selecting TAK was Tom's understanding of his trade and willingness to make helpful suggestions throughout the process. For example, he showed how he could use wider wall board to give me several extra inches of ceiling height. His advice was not limited to just the drywall but to many other aspects of my project such as how to cut away around the stairs, details of ceiling installation, etc etc. While his mainstay is drywall and ceilings, he's well versed in other aspects of construction. I'm glad I had someone who was able/willing to think outside the box instead of simply implementing my plan. (I did my research but I'm not experienced in construction.) As to the actual job, Tom and his crew did a great job. They apply 3 coats of mud (many drywallers just do 2 coats) and the finish is near perfect. The area under the steps was a bit tricky and they took the time to make it look great. The area around the furnace/AC was very tight, yet they got the wall board in and affixed. I appreciate how tough this was to do now that I'm painting it. Tom quoted 6 days but was finished in 5 days. And, he did this without cutting corners or compromising on the quality. The other quotes I got were for 2-3 weeks. Tom's price was about 5% higher than the lowest quote I got but was much lower than the highest bid. When I do another drywall project, I'm not sure I'll even mess with quotes. I'll just call Tom. I know I'll get a fair price and top quality and service.

Tom and his assistant did an excellent job. From the estimate to the work to cleaning up the service was top notch.

Excellent quotation, scheduling and installation processes. Tom met every commitment that he committed to. TAK's tradesmen are professional and efficient. They started the job at 7:30 (was on time) and completed by about 2PM. The job was a fair price and quality work. Quite frankly, no bad experience in the entire process.

Tom called promptly after I submitted my request. He was able to quote the job over the phone without even seeing the room. I signed a contract and had new drywall up within a week. Tom and his crew did a wonderful job as there were some challenging areas around the fireplace and built in TV. Another big plus was that I didn't lose my internet service, as it is all wired through that room. Tom even mopped the floor on the last day to keep the dust down. Very professional company, worked consistentally (not off a day here or there), kept to their price. Would highly recommend them!

Tom called me back the next morning after I called, he came out within a day to look at the job, he had the estimate back the same evening and asked important questions so we both were clear on his work to be done. Tom and his guys showed up when they said they would, were very professional in the way they worked and did a good job cleaning up before they left. I look forward to doing business with T.A.K. Tom arrived on time to look over the scope of the work and described options. Within three days he faxed us his bid. He and his men arrived on time and did exactly what they said they would do. Their punctuality amazed me. The work was finished exactly to spec. They kept the dust to a minimum.

I was extremely happy with the way that this company performed. Tom (the owner) came out of his way to look at my place right away and I had a quote in my hands within 24 hours. Once the job was approved they were able to begin two days later. The crew was extremely nice and they were great people to have around and were always on time. There were two crews that came in, one that framed and the other that completed all the sanding and finish coats. They really worked hard on keeping my house clean by using a dustless sander for all but the finish coats. I would highly recommend using this company. They are a truly a top notch company that is truly service oriented!

I spoke with and received quotes from several vendors about this work, but felt most comfortable with Tom, since drywall is his specialty. The work they performed was of very high quality, and they did it quickly, too. His staff was very friendly and trustworthy. His bid was about 10% more than the cheapest bid I received, but it was worth the additional cost knowing I'd get great work. I would definitely use him again.

TOM WAS VERY HELPFUL DECIDING WEATHER TO DO A DROP CEILING OR DRYWALL. THEY DID A GREAT JOB. ON TIME AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEY WERE DONE. HE ALWAYS KEPT ME UP TO DATE WHEN SOME ONE WAS COMING OUT TO DO THE NEXT STEP.
