My furnace went out on Saturday night. I decided to wait until Monday to call instead of paying overtime costs. I can't imagine how much that would cost. The technician found a bad ignitor, which I know costs $30-70. Average price for this service is about $250. He was at my house for less than 40 minutes.............over $400 !!!!!

They did come out very promptly and they were able to fix it. They did a good job. I would recommend them. They were very helpful. They knew what they are doing they were courteous to come out in the middle of the night. I think that they do have a competent price for an emergency call and job.

The service person from J&R Herra was professional and courteous. He diagnosed the issues with our air-conditioning unit and fixed it right away. He was also masked and gloved during our interaction due to the COVID situation and the payment transaction was touch-less. Highly recommend!

Technician claimed boiler was unrepairable and even if it was, fixing the heat exchange would cost as much as a new boiler. Quoted a price of $10,000.00 Called another company and after checking for any leaks, proceeded to clean the unit for $599.00. They call what was done to me by Gerea, as the complete failure scam.

Work went very well. Reviewed options with me based on my requirements. Water heater has been performing as expected since installation a few months ago.

Paid for them to come out and inspect my heating/air system. Technician arrived on time and was fairly helpful describing the work that needed to be done. Asked them to send me a detailed quote of the work to be done. Never received the quote. Called and spoke to someone in the office that said they would get a hold of the tech and get me a quote. Still didn't receive a quote. Called and asked to speak with the tech that did the inspection. After giving the person my information, I was put on hold. Agent came back and said Brian (the owner) was handling it and would get back to me. Months later never received anything. No idea what the issue was, but I don't think I should have to beg to get a quote, especially after I paid for an inspection.

My water heater was leaking and they came and did the temporary by-pass on my water heater.

I am on a service contract. I pay about $400.00 a year.

** $409.00 to replace a tub handle -- REDICOULOUS & SHAMEFULL ** Contacted the company agreed to an $89.00 "after hours" fee for a tub handle that would not turn the water off completely. The repairman identified the handle as the problem. He did not have the part on his truck so he went to Lowes, 1/2 , mile from the location, and replaced the part. Then came the bill $409.00!!!!!!! DO NOT USE HIS COMPANY!!! WARNING

They were very prompt and did excellent work. They were able to consult with us on our options for the sump pump and then provided the one that matched our needs.

lThe installation went very well. They did an excellent job with the venting to the outside. It looks very neat both inside & out. We're very pleased with the installation.

The technician did not show up for the appointment nor did they call to cancel and reschedule. When we called, they rescheduled and then arrived on time and completed the work quickly. We have used JR Herra many times and have never had this problem in the past. They are usually very punctual and we have always been pleased with their work and cost.

I had J&R Herra come in to do a yearly service/check up on HVAC/Air Exchange system that came with the home I had recently purchased. I was told to call them since they were the ones that installed the system, so I did. The gentleman that came in was punctual and went right to work, however his communication skills were horrible. He never really made us feel comfortable and was more concerned with finishing and leaving. When I made the appointment I told them that I was interested in learning how the system worked since I had never owned a geothermal unit before. They said sure but that never happened. A detailed invoice was left stating that I needed to replace a part. I assumed I would receive a phone call to schedule this service but I never did. I called back two weeks later to ask for the service be done. They said they would order the part and call me back. That was about 3 weeks ago and still waiting for that call. I prefer companies that keep their customers up to date and informed. The overall customer service has been the disappointing part for me. I will try some other company moving forward.

Came on time, was not the original person who quoted job, and was able to size up the job and get it done with.

The work was good and the guy did a great job. I thought that the service was a bit pricey. I would use them again.

I had obtained a few estimates and J&R Herra Inc. was very competitive. We went with them because of their reputation, their prices and because of the good communication they had with us. They are very accommodating to our schedule and will come out in a very timely fashion. We got an upgraded unit for a competitive price. I would recommend their service to others.

I've known them forever. They were great. They kind of go above and beyond. When I use to live in Alburn in the past I had a little house I could just leave the house open for them while I was at work to do their work and they would lockup afterwards. They've responded to my questions and concerns very well.

The air went out at my parents home on a hot, holiday weekend. JR Herra was kind enough to come out that very evening to have a look at the system. He diagnosed the problem, got the a/c running, and came back later that week to replace the part that was the issue. Given how worried I was that my parents would have no air on a hot day, I was immensely relieved and grateful to JR Herra for taking time out of a holiday weekend to help. There was a $150 fee to come out for the inspection, and that figure was applied to the total cost of the repair. My father said the cost was very reasonable, and that he trusted JR Herra.

I trust the Herras completely. Years ago, I would schedule them, leave the door unlocked and trust them to be in my house without me, not let the cat out, and lock up when they were done. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

What stands out about them is their honesty and reliability. They do watch the clock but they don't cut corners.

They are family owned. They are brothers and all the people working for them are highly skilled and have been working for them for many years. They do what they say and say what they do. They try to do things that if they ever have to come in and repair or replace it they have made all sorts of efforts to do the job so it is really perfect. They don't skimp on materials and they make all the connections so somebody else can easily repair anything they have done. They don't squish stuff in and they really try to do it right. They are very professional. I would use them again without a doubt.

We have used Herra many times and have always received professional quality service at a reasonable price. They always spend the time to thoroughly analyze the situation, find the cause of the problem, and only fix what needs fixing without adding extras that would increase the cost.

1)Improper installation of air intake and exhaust, not up to manufacturers recommendation.2) 2-stage motor wired incorrectly. 3) Could not program humidifier.4) Un-installed Copper line for air conditioner was left outside in the weather with only duct tape covering the end.5) Had to hire a second party to diagnose and solve all problems for a little over $1000.00

Everything was perfect. They were very knowledgable, and we were quite happy with them.
