Description of Work: We asked Mr Frasz to give us a bid on removing a water garden in our yard. We did not use him because we decided to keep the water garden. But, he came out as promised and gave us a bid promptly. I feel he is well qualified to do the work in his specialty.

Description of Work: I was going to build a new home and contacted them several times on the work that I wanted preformed. Each time they were responsive and detailed in the work that was going to be prefomed. Due city code, I had to change things around several times and each time I was met with professionalism. Ultimately I could not come to terms with the bank due to a soft market. My cousin who is a home builder referred me to this company and uses no one else. I would use them in the future.

My basement had flooded twice in less than 4 years due to an underground spring. My two sump pumps in the basement were running 24/7 and I had an ongoing relationship with various plumbers every 6 - 9 months since 2005 when I bought the house. It was not a happy relationship. I heard about Frasz through a friend before I found Angie's List. He came out and diagnosed the problem. It seems that in 1997, as the building contractor was digging the foundation for the house he hit sand with water running through it and had to dig deeper till he hit clay. Water flows to the lowest point and that ended up being my basement. Frasz assured me the problem would be solved by installing a concrete pit and pump in my yard to direct the flow of water away from the basement. After 7 years of plumbers telling me that their brand of sump pump was the solution, I was skeptical but desperate because I felt I needed a babysitter for my house since I was never sure when the next flood would hit. The floods were never related to bad storms but failures with the pumps because they couldn't keep up with the flow of crystal clear spring water. Frasz's crew came out with the biggest Tonka toys I have ever seen and dug the pit, installed the concrete well and wired up the sump pump. The crew said that as soon as they completed the installation the water was already flowing away from the house and into the concrete pit which pumped it into the drain pipe for the storm drain. I was pleased to see that my basement sump pumps were now finally quiet but I figured I would need to get through at least one summer and winter before I felt at ease. A few days after the installation I heard a constant gurgling noise and called Dale, who was the lead on the job. He came right out and discovered that the pump had been set too low. He raised it on some concrete blocks which solved the problem for about a week and then I heard the gurgling again. Dale came out again and realized that the pump had vibrated itself right off the concrete so he secured it and it has not had a problem since. I was happy that he was so responsive with the followups. Finally my fears were put to rest this past April 2013 when we had all the rain that soaked Aurora and surrounding areas. Quite a few of my neighbors had flooded basements because their sump pumps couldn't handle all the rain. The outside pump was working fast and furious and the basement sumps kicked on a few times to handle the overflow, but my basement stayed DRY! I was so happy that I called Dale, and reminded him of the job he and his crew had done in 2012 and reminded him of all the rain in April and then I practically shouted. and quot;IT WORKED GREAT!!!and quot;. I just wanted him to have some positive feedback. It was an expensive project but it was worth it for my peace of mind and a lot fewer plumbing visits.
